We scheduled our appointment on Sunday March 23. We thought it was at 2pm but it turns out it was actually at 1 pm. The owner called us and asked if we were still coming and we quicky made our way over there, at 1:40. Even though we were 40 minutes late the owner was understanding and super nice! We each got some wine (you have to pay seperately for it) and she started the lesson. She was very descriptive and that helped us follow along and keep at her pace. We were lucky enough that it was just the two of us in the studio that day. She came around and offered more paint when we needed it and gave us some techique suggestions. Overall it was a wonderful experience and one that we will be doing again! What a SUPER FUN experience! My husband and I signed up for the "Paint your Pet" class as a fun date day! What we loved, was even though neither of us has picked up a paint brush since high school, (we are both in our 60's!), the process was easy to follow and the art instructor Janet was just so kind, helpful and knowledgeable that she made us feel welcome and at ease right away.The fact the photos of our pets were already printed on the canvas definitely made it less intimidating for me on how to start! Everything is set up and ready for you, the canvas, brushes, pre-selected paint colors on a paper plate and an apron! We arrived a few minutes early, bought a glass of wine from the cute bar in the back and looked around at all the paintings hung up everywhere from other classes getting inspiration! It was a 3 hour class which truly seemed perfectly timed out as it gave us all time to finish without feeling rushed. If you're looking for something fun, unique and creative to do, we both highly recommend it! We are so pleased with our paintings we are going to hang them up at home! read more

I just celebrated my 40th birthday at Wine & Design with a few friends and could not wait to write this review! We all had a fantastic time! I loved that I was able to bring some small easy food items and non alcoholic drinks for my guest to enjoy. Booking the paint night was a very easy process! Once I confirmed my day, a link was created and I was able to send the link to my guest so they could reserve their spot. Now for the painting itself. I am not artistic at all! But the instructor made sure to explain everything step by step, it was so easy to follow. We had fun music playing, some delicious wine from the bar! My friend bought a bottle of Rosè for us and it was perfect! The whole experience was fun and relaxing! It was the perfect way to celebrate my milestone birthday! I've done wine and paint nights before that have been alright, but I've never been to a wine and paint place that was this much fun. Lisa provided exactly the right amount of instruction and direction without overdoing it. My group and I did a sangria painting, it was a lot of fun, and not one of ours was like the others. Lisa gave us plenty of time to work on the backgrounds of our paintings first, which also gave the girls enough time to chat while we painted. It's really therapeutic to be able to paint a background the way you want it to be, with the colors either darker or lighter, you can perfectly mix to make it look exactly how you want it. Add in your favorite adult beverage and some friends and it's a perfect evening! BYOB is not allowed, but they do sell drinks there. Go ahead and bring your snacks. There is street parking and a lot in the rear that is really for the clothing store next door, but I was fine parking back there since it was after hours. I was really happy with the finished product of my painting and I had such a great time that I can't wait to come back. read more

I had been waiting for a long time to get the chance to try out a wine and painting experience and this place was the perfect place for first timers! Here's how it works: Once you've reserved your seat online ($35) and paid you arrive a few minutes early and choose a seat. All of your supplies to create your masterpiece are already set up for you and you can buy drinks while everyone trickles in and gets situated. Justin and Lisa will get you an apron and most likely crack a joke that will loosen you up before the process begins. The rest of the night will consist of you painting, getting more drinks, laughing at your mistakes with your neighbor's and then painting some more. What I loved: 1) The drinks were very reasonably priced! 2) The instructors made it so that even someone who had never painted in their life before (my boyfriend) have a lot of fun and love their finished piece. 3) The class size is intimate enough so that everyone can get a chance to ask for help. 4) The instructors gladly took cool pictures for everyone at the end of the session. 5) We were allowed to change up parts of our painting to make it more unique! 10/10 will be back for the next date night! read more

Five Stars!!!! I had such an enjoyable time here with my friends celebrating my birthday. I found this location online when I was searching for paint and wine places. I emailed questions prior to booking and found that the responses that I received were quick and efficient. The classes are small and intimate, which is plus for me, because sometimes I need a little extra attention :) The owner, Lisa, led the class and she was very nice and a pleasure to be around. The place does not serve food, but you can bring in your own food, or have it delivered. We were lucky to have taken the class on Food Truck Friday, so we had plenty of options. So thrilled to leave a review! Particularly because I was so surprised when my boyfriend planned to sip and paint as a lovely Valentine's Day gift to the both of us. We definitely enjoyed ourself and the vibes we exchanged while at Wine & Design. First impressions are EVERYTHING, for me, and I was delighted to be politely greeted by the owner, herself. Thankfully, the drawing for the night was sketched by Melanie! Phew! I am not the best at drawing. We were offered many different colors of paint, the option to get creative with our photos, and best of all WINE! Glasses of wine are $7 and bottles are $23, and luckily a wine my boyfriend and I have enjoyed recently (Chronic Cellars). Both Melanie and Lisa assisted with mixing colors and allowing us to feel comfortable and getting our creative juices flowing. I really enjoyed the times I've come here. The place has parking in the back so you don't need to worry about parking. There are a lot of nice restaurants nearby. Gabbing food either before or after painting is very easy. You can bring your own snacks and wine is sold separately by the bottle or glass (sorry I don't remember the prices on the top of my head).
