Can't remember what the man's name was but he's going home back to Idaho soon, great guy! Quick at his job and good conversation! Definitely need to give this guy a BIG BONUS before he moves, he works too hard!! read more

Do not use this company as they are UNOROFESSIONAL AND ABANDON CALLS WITHOUT TELLING YOU! They were called by Triple A to get my car. They arrived at a dirt road, which I drove on with my Mercedes, and said it was too rough for their trucks so abandoned the call and didn't tell me. I called then they told me and when I expressed I was going to report them to Triple A for not informing me they hung up on me. read more

Got some great service today from D&K Towing. Fast and prompt service from Johnny. He was friendly, helpful, informative and even remembered a previous time that he helped me out for a lock-out. Very fast response and very professional service. Today was a holiday so I was expecting a longer response time.

Dave, was very friendly and helpful. He took his time to try and get my suv with a dead battery, started. When suv wouldn't start he made sure that flat bed could be dispatched to come out to tow vehicle as quickly as possible. read more

Locked my keys in my truck. Called D&K Towing and Dave showed up in 15 min; had my truck open in less than 15 seconds. He is extremely friendly, knowledgable and works fast. I have used D&K Towing a couple of times now and I would recommend them for all of your towing needs. Tim who is one of the drivers is super friendly and has many years of experience, he towed one of my vehicles to the shop. Then last night Dave who is the owner unlocked my vehicle for me after I had locked the keys in it by mistake. He had it checked in and opened before I even realized. Thank you D&K you have helped when I have been stuck. read more

I am so thankful for Dave! I was stuck with a flat tire and a tired baby. Called AAA and D&K towing was there in less than five minutes! He was so polite and treated my car as if it was his own. Very respectful, fast and friendly! Best experience I have ever had hands down! read more

Very efficient and nice service. My driver Jonathan was great when I unexpectedly needed my truck towed.

D & K towing came promptly to my home to jump my pickup truck. The driver was very nice and kind. He got my truck up and running in no time. The driver (I wish I got his name) went above and beyond to help me load my dumpster with the trash that was in the back of my pickup truck. I use this truck to take my trash down our hill to where our trash reciprocals are located. Thank you D & K Towing. You're the best. Thank you. read more

As usual, D & K towing and Johnny did an excellent job in my recent lockout. Johnny's service was quick, complete, and courteous. Great job and much thanks! read more

My sister and I got locked out of her car today when her Subaru Forester locked her keys inside!! We didn't even realize that could happen! We were at the Shell gas station at Friant Dam and called D&K Towing for help. Tim answered right away, explained he was at Prather but would come down to help as soon as possible. He even texted to say when he was on his way. He showed up even earlier than he thought and got our car open in about 5 minutes. He is going to be our Favorite Hero for days and weeks to come as we tell everybody! And PS, if you own a Subaru, do NOT leave your keys in the car to use the restroom! The person, Dave, went all the way up on Fishing Club road (Off road path from Dinky Creek Rd., south of Shaver lake ) to unlock my car from the inside. He completed the process seamlessly in about a minute or less with no damage done whatsoever. Dave is a cool and chill dude who is honest and straightforward regarding the price of the service as he left for Shaver lake. read more

My Grand daughter totaled my car when an 18 wheeler transfer pulled out from Cemex in front of her on Friant road. They do this all the time (about 5 times for me) but sans police, what can you do other than raise a finger? D & K towing came and did a great job cleaning up the mess. They were friendly and helpful later as well. read more

My car needed a battery charge and I received more then I asked for! This wonderful man noticed the sounds of my car, as I turned it on, and helped me check my oil level and with the oil I carry in my car; that my dad gave to me, and poured it in for me. He was so very helpful in his suggestions and service that he went above and beyond his call of duty. He took on more then the role of a tow service and acted upon his intuition helping out another human in need and providing his service of knowledge and skills. Thank you! read more

Without a doubt the worst experience Ive ever had with a towing service. The woman (whose name no one will disclose) had an attitude the minute she pulled. It wasnt like she had a long distance to travel. Maybe 1 1/2 miles. She was sent the service request from AAA. To make a long story, not only did she not tow my vehicle, she friggin left me there and split, never looked back. She is a straight up bitch read more

Dave was amazing!! I didn't think he could come to my property and voila, showed up and started both my dead cars and put me back on the road!! His attitude was special and soothing and I knew I was in good hands. Thanks Dave, you are a keeper!! read more

Paul was dispatched to retrieve my Jeep and I on the side of the road out of town a ways. He was very professional and courteous. I quickly was aware that he knew what he was doing and that we were in good hands. He worked swiftly and very safe. My passenger and I had a nice 74 mile ride in his well kept and clean cab. Pleasant conversation the entire ride before he safely unloaded directly into my garage. A true professional and nice guy. D&K Towing sent him out in nice equipment as well. A great experience on a not so great day being stranded on the roadside. Thanks Paul and D&K! read more

No stars but Yelp requires one. The tow truck company is run by a rude human being. Zero empathy and patience or professionalism. Left me stranded on the side of the road all night. Auto Club also notified of this complaint and terrible/ no service company. read more

Great tow service by Jonny made everything simple and easy. Would highly recommend to family and friends!

The rudest customer service ever. They explained what I needed to be done but mind you this was during the holidays so they sent my vehicle to the junk yard. It cost nothing to be nice, efficient, and have patience read more

Lousy service. Owner very rude and incompetent. Picks and chooses who he wants to tow based and his preference. read more

Excellent quick service, been using this service for decades. Driver was super friendly and helpful, took great care of me and my car.

Thank you D&K towing! Waived the fee to get my car out after hours since the dmv gave me the wrong address

First , I am a 25 year local fulltime resident. After 26 hours and 17 phone calls I gave up. Dishonest , multiple commitments to call back and set up a time to tow , crickets...... Never once called me back. Called a tow service in Fresno who spent 18 minutes on my problem and billed my insurance $392 . You are a terrible company to do business with . Unlike a lot of the other reviewers my vehicle was on a paved , plowed road . Absolutely no excuse . Missed opportunity , now you are $392 short. I own 3 businesses in the local / Fresno area and I will be sure to share my experience with everyone I know. Terrible customer service. read more

Appalling, disrespectful, hurtful and disdainful behavior towards women and elderly and disabled citizens and a lack of empathy. He lied and told AAA the car was located on a dirt road. FALSE STATEMENT he made which was RECORDED BY AAA. This person, DAVID BOYKO of D & K TOWING IN AUBERRY, CA should be exposed and ashamed of himself. He is ANYTHING BUT PHILANTHROPIC, as he claims. He left the elderly without a car due to his selfish lying after AAA had DISPATCHED, NO. 31182. We did not get a call why the tow did not arrive until I called one hour after ETA did not show Dispatch No. 31182. We need to get the car repaired in Fresno and asked for the tow. Our Mother is disabled. This is what happened: On 4/4/2021 I called AAA. I have been a member for 37 years and hold the Primere plan. The call was for my 90-year-old Mom's car that we use while our family lives with and caretakes our Mom. DAVID BOYKO, owner of D & K TOWING, could have turned down the job and left it to a professional if he did not want to work that day, but instead he lied after the call was dispatched No. 31182. HE LIED TO AAA AND TOLD AAA THE STREET WAS A DIRT ROAD! After I called to state the Driver did not arrive and it was 1 hour past ETA of 10:26, AAA investigated and discovered that Google maps and Satelite Topo maps indicate the car was located on A PAVED ROAD; NOT A DIRT ROAD. To recap: After I made the call from Mom's residence, I received a text from from AAA stating the dispatch NO. 31182 and I was told that the driver is on the way and ETA was 10:26 a.m. I waited until approximately 11: 30 am then called AAA and spoke to a very educated AAA CSR. AAA rep told me that DAVID BOYKO from D & K Towing stated that the car was not on a county road and the road is unpaved. So Boyko lied about a Tow he did not make. I told the rep from AAA that is not true the road is paved and I am currently standing on it where it meets the PAVED driveway. The AAA representative looked up my Mom's address and verified through satelite topo map and Google Maps that THE LOCATION IS ON A PAVED PUBLIC ROAD. After getting a string of phone calls from AAA stating that they cannot service dirt roads, I called the District Supervisor of AAA. She gave me a second Dispatch No. 32711 AAA, and once again I received messages back that FALSELY CLAIMED THE LOCATION WAS O N A DIRT ROAD. So this one person, DAVID BOYKO of D & K TOWING IN AUBERRY, by his one statement, caused a whole day of confusion with AAA while my 90-year-old Mother is left without a simple tow to Fresno, and David Boyko is sitting unbeknownst to any of the hardship that his lie and refusal to perform the service that he signed up for with AAA has caused. On Wed., 4/7/2021 I called D & K Towing to ask if he could tow my Mom's car and informed him that the road was paved and AAA had also verified that it is by using their satellite equipment to confirm. David Boyko stated that he did not want to take his truck up there and told me to get someone else. I told him that I was aware that he said that the road was dirt. Dave told me "not to put words in his mouth." I told him that I was not putting words in his mouth, and that AAA told me that David Boyko from D & K Towing in Auberry said this was a dirt road. I was shocked and hurt by the disrespectful, hateful response I received from him and his dismissive and abusive demeanor. He was rude, angry, hateful, hurtful, and disrespectful and abusive. This feels like intentional infliction of emotional distress and intentional infliction of harm to the vulnerable and disable and elderly. He was yelling at me for asking questions, yelled at me for explaining to him the road was paved as was the driveway. According to the other Yelp reviews I read, this is not the first time Boyko has gotten a poor review from others when he just plain does not want to pass on a dispatch and then recants the dispatch and lies to AAA and causes citizens harm and distress. Mr. Boyko, a simple no thank you, I cannot take your job would be much nicer that putting all these people through emotional distress in their time of being stranded without a working vehicle. read more

We were headed to the lake with our boat and one of the tires on the boat trailer had shredded as we approach Friant. We made it to the side of the road and saw a towing service across the street. We called and they were amazing. They helped us get back on the road and safely. Even after my husband had been stressed they were kind and friendly. We could not have asked for better service. It's a breath of fresh air to know we still have good people out there. Thank you so much getting us back on the road so my husband can enjoy his Father's Day weekend. read more

What can I say, this guy saved me on the side of a small road off the side of Millerton Lake. I had a front tire blowout, and tried to jack the Jeep up on my own, but my jack wasn't tall enough for the suspension I've got. I called AAA and asked for tow service. An hour later, and it was getting dark. I was planning to make the trip back to San Jose, but my chances were pretty slim given the pack of light. Minutes later, I see ambers flashing coming down the road. The guy saw that I had tried to get the wheel off myself, and suggested a hi-lift Jackie I wanted to be safe in the future. He popped my front tire off, replaced it with the spare I had ready, swapped the tire end caps, and remounted my spare on the back gate. Someone this was work he didn't have to do, and could have easily left it up to me to do myself. Thank you immensely for the great service, friendly demeanor, quick work, and for the lifesaver! read more

Horrible tow company. Will not tow on an unpaved road, yet they're contracted with AAA to service part of the rural mountain communities. Had them refuse a tow through a AAA call because part of the route was on a dirt road. Don't call them, avoid them at all costs Edit: after the owners response, I will edit my review from "avoid them at all costs" to: avoid if you don't want a lengthy, headache inducing, frustrating experience that might not even solve your tow problem. Not only is my review from personal experience, but I have heard other stories exactly like mine so buyer beware. Also, there are tow companies that will go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience read more

I am an ICU/ER nurse from San Francisco, I am driving to Fresno every week to work in their COVID ICU as they are quite inundated with incredibly sick patients. I was driving back to the city and was blindsided by another vehicle (going 50 mph) and my car was totaled. Luckily I made it out alive however I was so stressed trying to figure out the fine details (insurance, car rental, towing my vehicle back to city, etc) of the incident and how it was going to affect me getting back home. The police officer ended up calling the towing company because it would be faster than Geico's towing service, this was the biggest blessing! Dave was so incredibly caring, empathetic, reassuring and helpful! I was crying, on the phone with Geico, speaking to the officer/trying to give a verbal statement, and I was trying to unload my belongings from my car so I could take them with me in the Uber when I was dropped off at the rental car company. Dave repeatedly reminded me to take my time (to take deep breaths), that every was going to be ok, that he wasn't going to leave me until my Uber arrived, AND he was quite reassuring to me when I displayed some concern regarding belongings I had to leave in the vehicle, as I couldn't fit them in the Uber. He stated that his property is a locked indoor garage and that no one has access to it outside of him and his daughter, who works in the office. After hearing this, I did let out a sigh of relief as I was super stressed about trying to get my YETI cooler unloaded from the car, in addition to a huge amount of toilet paper I just bought at Costco, etc! I can't recommend D & K Towing enough! If you want to have a compassionate, helpful, and understanding Towing company/service, this is definitely the highest caliber towing service I have ever received! Thank you so much Dave, I am so grateful for your kindness during a very difficult time for me. read more
