The waitress kept our drinks refilled and checked in often. I was further impressed by the staff knowing regular patrons by name. The waitress greeted people of diverse backgrounds warmly. This is not common in most Chinese establishments. This is a gem! I was further impressed by the waitresses speaking Spanish and other languages. Just wow!! The buffet: I was impressed the warm plates and bowls. The plates were placed under the buffet. This one action prevents airborne contamination. I loved this! I have never seen this since elsewhere. This should be a requirement for all buffets. The food temperatures were hot! I wouldn't worry about this place when it comes to getting sick. I am a neat freak. I felt like they took extra effort to ensure a safe food temperature and hygienic utensils. Food quality: The hot and sour soup as well as the egg drop soup were nice and hot in temperature. Soup needs to be hot. There was just enough corn starch in the soups to thicken and not so much it solidified. The quality of the ingredients were apparent. I was further impressed by their offerings which are not typical of buffets. They offered baby octopus, cheese scallops kabobs, hunan beef with black bean sauce, and general two's chicken. The food is spicy as they should be! The cheese wonton were were well-balanced. Savory and sweet. The battered items remained crispy!
