My friend and I wanted to get a pedicure and we stumbled upon D & D when looking up places around the area. I'm so glad we tried this place out as this place is our new go to! Nam was super nice and attentive. Not only that, everyone in the shop was friendly. We were offered water and was reminded to use the massage chair while getting our pedicure. Nam's attentiveness to detail did not go unnoticed. I love how he took his time and ensured I was happy with everything. Also, Lily did my friend's pedicure and she was very friendly as well! I highly recommend D & D Nail Lounge! I've been getting manicures & pedicures here for 5 years & they are the BEST! Husband & wife owners Nam & My are fantastic & very welcoming. Lily is also amazing! Nam does incredible nail art! My friends that I referred here have kept going to them. The Nail Lounge is beautiful & very clean. It has a calm environment. Prices are very fair, too. If you bring cash, like I do, you save 3% off total, if you don't use a credit or debit card. Plenty of free parking. They're open Monday-Saturday. I see Lily regularly. I get dip with gel. Lily is kind, experienced, calm and careful. My time spent with her is always relaxing. The whole team is warm and friendly. Although they do take walk ins, I suggest making an appointment. They play nice acoustic music for ambiance. I will continue going to d&d to see Lily as long as I can!! :) read more

I've been coming here for a few years now and have started bringing my family as well! My stepdaughter and I have been coming every few weeks for the past couple of years, it's such a fun bonding experience. I love all the different cat eye options they carry here! I get acrylics and gel, and Nam is so wonderfully artistic, he always impresses me and gives me a set that elicits compliments for days. Lyly and My give my stepdaughter the royal treatment and are patient and gentle with her. Very clean and comfortable, and the music is relaxing. I could totally take a nap in one of their massage chairs, and have seen others do so once or twice. I definitely enjoy the serene atmosphere. read more

I've been using this salon for many months. The environment is relaxing, comfortable, and welcoming. The owners are warm and friendly. They work in the salon everyday and care about your experience. I got nails put on and also a pedicure. The ladies were nice but the one who put on my nails was very rough. The glue ran to under the fake nails and dried up making it look like underneath my nails is always dirty. It's very embarrassing for me. I work as a cashier and the customers can see it. I have no complaints about the pedicure, it looks nice. The lady who did my nails name is Tiffany or Stephany. Was my first time there . I am not sure what happened, but I've referred this place to many friends and community members and consistently updated my reviews here. I've experienced since June not having any responses or little / late responses to appointment requests including today even for a simple fill and pedicure. No messages, appointments booked on site are cancelled with no option to reschedule or follow up. Really disappointed as this place felt like family. read more

Came in for the first time after the opening with COVID. Everyone must wear and mask and hand sanitizer is placed all over. All stations are spaced out and have plexiglass barriers, even the pedicure chairs. I was impressed! Not sure if it was due to COVID or not, but the lady doing my gel manicure wore gloves while some did not and when it came to the normal lotion and massage of the arms she just used her gloved hands without lotion, which must have had latex in them as not only did it feel rough because it was rubber on my dry skin, but after I left my arms broke out in hives. Next time I will skip the "massage" if there is no lotion and will def request that either the gloves do not have latex or that she does not use them. read more

Called at 3:00pm asking if they were able to take me in 10/15 mins as a walk in and they said yes. I drove to the salon just to sit and wait for someone to open up. Okay....coo coo....... 25 mins later....waiting .... no one asking if I'd like a water or even what color I'm getting. Meanwhile I'm being fumigated by the smell of acetone. I've been to plenty of salons and I must say, this one is whelming and clearly do not ventilate well. I left after another 5 mins. Waste of time. read more

I didn't have an appointment and appreciated that they were honest, asking me to wait for 30 minutes. I didn't know my nail tech's name but she was very efficient. She burned me when she was sanding off my acrylic dip but did apologize and turned down the machine. She was very careful throughout the session and was patient with me when I was uncertain of which color I wanted. She asked if I wanted to shorten my nails and asked which shape I wanted. Also!!! I am super happy that she cleaned up my cuticles and gave me a great hand massage (included in the $45 price) The end result is beautiful - exactly what I wanted. read more

If you are looking to do dip nails, do not go here. I made an appointment the night before and specifically asked for Jenny. I walked in, I stood there for a good 5 minutes before anyone noticed I was there. The front desk lady spoke so softly and she was confused to as why I was there. She asked if I had just called and I said no, I have an appointment with Jenny. They lack communication and they are very disorganized. There was confusion of when I called and who I had requested. So I had to wait quite some time for my requested tech but she must have double booked because she definitely rushed on my nails. There's no point of calling because they do not write your information. From all the 5 star reviews, it seemed like Jenny is the best tech but it's only been a day and my nails are already lifting. read more

I haven't gotten my nails done for about 4 years and i'm very glad I chose this place! Everyone was super friendly and very helpful when picking out colors. The place is nice and clean, and very quiet if you just want to relax and take a break! Prices are good and reasonable for the service. Who does the best nail? Jenny! The name sounds familiar? Yup! She used to work in another nail shop in Tustin and now she's here. Personally, I like this location a lot better because it's much closer to my work. The place is modern and clean. I love the black and white combination of the decoration. You get a cup of drink when you get pedicure service. Jenny's artwork never fails. I learned to trust her and let her choose my colors in horn my hand nails and toes. If you're uncertain, she'll tell you it's up to you and it's your choice. But if I were you, I would listen to her. Come support Jenny at your new place~ read more

I wasn't going to write this review but i think it's necessary. I called an made an appointment for noon and let the owner know i was short on time. She ensured me an hour would be enough but when i showed up the ladies were late and did not show up until 12:20pm. When they finally started, I asked for stiletto nails and this was how she was shaping them. Idek what shape that is. And then, the lady doing my pedicure started cutting my toenail from the BOTTOM. This photo is from july 28, so you can only imagine how my nails has grown out. I'm too embarrassed to even post a photo and seeing it grown out is what made me want to post this review. I asked her to stop cutting it from the bottom but she continued until the lady doing my manicure told her stop. I got so frustrated I ended up just leaving. Save yourself. Don't go here. read more

First time coming here! She (I didn't catch her name) did an amazing job and was super fast! Got me out before her estimated time. She even helped me pick the right nude color for my skin tone I will definitely be coming back here! I believe I used color #6 for the base nude color of this ombre white tip set. Mai, the manicurist's service is very careful and gentle. I used to go to other nail salons. The manicurist's peeling skin was very rough. They made my feet hurt very much. Mai was very gentle. I felt very comfortable, I will definitely come again next time. read more

K&B Nail Lounge is lovely. They treat you with respect and have excellent service. The decor is very pretty, I really like the crystal chandeliers. The salon is very clean. Now, due to covid they have plastic shields in between you and the nail technition for extra protection. They have an assortment of nail polish colors and can do a verity of different acrylic styles. I like this place, you should come here and try it out for yourself. Oh, they give you snacks too! read more

I've been looking for a friendly, efficient, and fair priced nail salon in lake forest for a while. I've tried a few around here and it was either too pricey or the staff wasn't friendly. I came here about 3:30 on a Thursday, so there was no wait. I was sat immediately on a massage chair and two nail techs started doing their magic. They were friendly, made conversations, and asked about my life; but not too overbearing where I couldn't just sit and relax. I do like just sitting back to enjoy the pampering from time to time. My nails and toes came out perfectly! The foot massage was great! This is now my new "go to" spot. I got gel nails and a basic pedicure for $53. Of course I tipped each nail technician as well. Oh, and they offered me champagne!!! I couldn't have any that time, but I will next time. Definitely a place where you and your girl friends should check out for a day of pampering! read more

My mother and I very much enjoyed our semi annual girls day At Sassy Nail Bar. Service is fantastic, you are very welll taken care of and pampered from the moment you step in. Love the vibe and decor of the place, not what you would expect from an older strip mall, they did a beautiful job, white, bright, modern and spotless, they are meticulous about keeping it clean. The free delicious cocktails are another thing to make them stand apart from the rest and make the occasion seem special. Our Mani/pedi's turned out fantastic and lasted a few weeks, very satisfied. Few important facts about this place: 1- If you ask for gel and stones and when she wants to charge you more than a normal, simple refill then she is welcoming! If you want a simple refill then she makes you feel unwelcome! This is not a good quality. 2- She charges different prices every time without any explanation! First time new set is understandable, but every time different. Dont you have a menu with charges? I came here few times for her work, but not anymore! 3- TO SAVE TIME, Instead of using the machine to remove my old acrylic, SHE USED THE fake nails and put it under the layer and took all the nails off !!!!!! The pain was so much that i had to stop her few time! I asked a nail specialist last week and she said, she did it to take them off faster to get to the next client! And what she did damaged your nails! She took one layer off of your nails! Just to make more money Jenny? This is NOT A RIGHT THING TO DO! The reply has nothing to do with the service you provide. It is your customer's right to be asked for the service and what you are doing and the charges at the end. Im glad this review got the attention for explanation. read more

I was never one to constantly have my nails done until I came here. Love the service everytime everyone's so friendly and they always do a great job. The acrylics for me stay on for a VERY long time and they always do a great job with the designs I ask for PLUS reasonably priced i cannot recommend this place enough. read more

Fabulous experience! They took so much time for both pedicure and gel manicure. Massage by Van was awesome and Donna did my gel manicure. Both people were extremely gentle and thorough. This place is clean and modern. Plenty of parking and situated behind Walgreens in shopping center. I was offered a beverage (the have a menu of alcoholic options or not) of my choice and it was included in cost of treatment. I also was provided with a scrub -Also included. I was pleased that their attention was on me and not them talking in another language constantly like I wasn't there. I had an awesome experience and would highly recommend going here. I came here for a set of gel acrylics for the first time. I was super super excited! Katie was an amazing technician and I love my nails, but I was charged $60 for a set of acrylic coffin shaped acrylics (simple ombré design) despite the fact that they stated it was $50 for a full set of acrylics on Yelp just 18 days ago (this is without tip, which I came in set to tip 20% minimum in cash). I came in with virgin nails and I've never been to a nail salon before but I feel that $60 is steep for nails only, no pedicure included! I feel like I was taken advantage of. The service was fine, I am honestly not sure if I will be back because of the sudden price variation. I moved to Lake Forest 8 months ago and was hoping to find my new regular nail salon but I am now definitely going to check out other local salons before making a solid decision. read more

I love coming here to get my nails done, and I'm super glad they have been able to stay open during COVID-19. I usually get a fullset/gel pedicure and occasionally get my eyelashes done! Yes, Jenny does eyelashes too! Jenny is super nice and is extremely detailed she always makes me feel my best! It's super safe with many plastic screens between customers and technicians and other customers. 100% recommend coming here. Please give K&B nails a try I promise you, you will not regret it!! read more

The salon itself I have always liked- they have an easy booking system, easy self check in, it's clean, use quality wax products, and arent pushy about selling products. They also have decent pricing if you utilize the membership or wax packs. My 5 stars mostly goes to Klarissa though as she is absolutely the best Brazilian waxer I've had in my life. I was strictly a hard wax only girl for the longest time and she convinced me to try sugaring again. Life changing! My skin and hair has responded so well over time.
