I recently got a new set of nails by one of the workers there and about three days later my pointer finger started to lift and I put glue on it so I've let that happen for a day or two and then I stopped back in and asked them to fix it they told me they were busy come back in an hour. There were only two people working and we came on the Monday the week of the 4th of July and they were packed with walking. They kept their cool managing everyone. You can pick which tier you want ranging from $30 for the most basic & goes up from there depending on what extras you want. The deluxe was $58 which included "cooling gel" & a 10 minute massage each for hands and feet. It also included callouse removal. Parafin wax is another upgrade. Awful. Spent 2 hours here with my daughter and it is the worst nail job I have ever seen. Luckily another salon was open and was able to fix her nails that looked like they were done by a 2 year old. Please do not go here. My daughter was in tears. The man who did her nails kept hurting her and telling her she was fine and she was shaking because she was so upset about how bad he was doing. Rude is all I can say. I came in to get my SNS and gel nails removed because I can no longer afford them when they asked me if I wanted to get a new said I asked just said no thank you and they asked why and I told them that I cannot afford them and after that boy did their attitude change. EVER WONDER IF THE NAIL LADY IS TALKING ABOUT YOU? THE ANSWER IS - YES, THE LADIES HERE ARE!!!!!!!!!! I'm Vietnamese and fluent in speaking and understanding the language. I've gone to many nail salons and usually the nail techs are just telling each other stories. That's not the case at Top Nails - they're totally talking about you! I've gone to this salon off and on for the past 10 years and everytime they've done a decent job. Today I went to the salon and was seated with Lucy. Lucy has done my nails before so I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't remind her that I'm Vietnamese because I just wasn't interested in making conversation today. Everything was fine, until she started cleaning up my cuticles. She cut me and I started bleeding and she didn't even notice. Then she went to start painting my nails - that was when she told the lady doing my pedicure (in Vietnamese) that I have parrot nails!! WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? I know I should've stopped her to tell her off right there, but I was in so much shock! I'm clearly Asian and I would think that she would want to clarify what type of Asian I was before deciding to talk smack on me and make sure that I didn't understand her language. That's the least she can do, right?! Aside from Lucy talking sh*t on me, she also cut me. I was looking at my nails and she's like what happened? Then I reminded her that I'm bleeding and she told me it's going away! Okay... After they completed my mani/pedi they moved me immediately. I can understand that too but then she just threw my sandals down. This was an all-in-all rude experience. I will never be coming back to this salon again. There are plenty of other salons in the area with higher quality work and more deserving of customers. The owner of the salon knew I was Vietnamese and even verified (a few times) that I was by reading my name on the credit card. With the economy the way it, this is one of those things that I rarely do anymore. I used to get these once a month but hey, you have to figure out what to cut and where to save. So when I Do go for it, I expect to get my moneys worth. I stopped by from Stylishe(next door) and decided it was time for a lil treat. I go in ask the price on spa mani/pedicure. $30, I told him I didn't want any polish for nails and asked how much then? Same, sternly told even tho it's obvious I'm a new client. So I go for it and start trying to figure out the polish for toes, same guy eyeballing me like I'm taking too long-Hey, I like to take my time. Geez. The spa chairs are new and nice, the female attendant taking care of my feet was a lil rough. While filing my toes she starts filing my skin, I jerk back. She looks at me "tickles?" Um, yea kinda more then tickles. The massages they both did were great however. The male taking care of my hands does a good enough job. I figured since I'm paying for the polish anyway I'd ask for a buffing. He nods and starts without another word to me. Cons: staff slouched around bored out of their noggins, WAY too bright in there-super harsh lighting started giving me a headache They started vacuming and cleaning around me-totally felt rushed out the door even tho they just took another customer? Nail places like this are dying for returning clientele- you think they'd try keep you coming back. They had couple clients at their peak time in evening. They do try to upsell you on salts, paraffins and designs. And they ended up charging me $4 more for the buffing in lieu of polish-which is half the work? I went here for a manicure. They told me it would be $15 and when when she got done doing my nails she asked if I had cash and I said "no I have a debit card" so she asked me if I had cash for her tip. Excuse me! But what makes her think I'm going to give her a tip? I told her no I didn't have cash for a tip but I would add it on when I paid with my debit card. She spent about 15 minutes on my nails and they were all crooked when she got done and all she had to do was a simple manicure.
