    Garlic shrimp spaghetti

I love me some pasta and Damico has some good ones! It was pretty dead inside on a Sunday evening and we were ordering to-go. Parking is a pain at this location. Even though you're not suppose to, we just parked in the lunds & byerlys and walked across the street. My go-to is the garlic shrimp spaghetti. It's got wonderful garlicky buttery flavors and the Parmesan adds the perfect texture. I was a little disappointed in my serving sized compared to my partners pasta dish though. I just want alllll the pasta. Plus this is very expensive pasta so please give me more. My partners chicken penne was also amazing! My wish is that they lower their prices. Their prices are that of a very nice sit-down restaurant but I get more of a take-out vibe here.

I had a gift card to D'Amico burning a hole in my pocket, and decided to pick up from their Edina location this week. I had catered in D'Amico a few times in the past at the U of M, but hadn't actually been into one myself. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a bummer experience. INTERIOR: Is a plus! It's clean and fancy looking with nice tile and decor. There was hardly anyone in during the lunch hour - maybe most take out or cater? They do have a nice patio area as well. MENU: Is limited - a few salads, a few soups, and a handful of things in the case. A small soup and tiny antipasti plus ice cream was over $20. SERVICE: Was brutal on my stop in. I asked about the salads for the soup and salad combo, and the cashier pointed me to the signature salads menu. I pick one, and she walks around trying to figure out how to make it while I stand at the counter. Another team member says I can only pick from the antipasti or pasta salads in the case, and I can't mix and match. The cashier slowly gets the soup, a tiny to-go of the antipasti, and ice cream in between fiddling with the register - this whole process took no less than 15 minutes, with no sense of timeliness or hospitality. Usually in a patient person, but this was pretty painful. There are so many nice options in the area - unfortunately, I won't be back here.

    Chicken gorgonzola salad pasta

Been going here 15 years, one of my favorite places in all of Edina. I always either get the chicken gorgonzola or chicken with dried cherries pasta salad with a side caesar. The BEST pasta salads, ever (I am a fanatic) and also the BEST caesar salads. I love the interior design and the service has always been good even when someone I'm with orders a pasta to be made.

"Italian style" steak. Skip it. Stick to pizza or pasta.

Note, they do NOT take reservations so it's first come, first serve. Our original wait time was around 1 hour but it ended up only being 35 minutes. Parking is quite limited but due to eating later in the evening, we were able to get a parking spot in their lot. Broaders' has both patio and indoor seating. Being the middle of winter, we sat inside. It's not an overly large restaurant so be prepared to wait during busier meal times (like dinner on the weekends). Our waitress was very nice, answered our questions, and helped us select the perfect wine. Shortly after ordering our wine, they brought out a complimentary bread basket which was delicious! We asked for butter and more of the foccaccia because it was SO good. For our mains, we got the Greek Salad, Ravioli Di Zucca, and Spaghetti Con Polpette. WOW! I don't have a single complaint. The greek salad was flavorful with all the mixed vegetables and dressed perfectly. The Ravioli Di Zucca was buttery and delicious and the Spaghetti Con Polpette was probably the best spaghetti and meatballs we've ever had. Somehow we had room for dessert and opted for the Tiramisu. It was good, not great. I didn't love that it was cut in the shape of a pie vs. a square -- Something about that threw me off. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend going to Broaders' Pasta Bar! You won't regret it!

It's a very pretty establishment that brings together the classic and the modern and feels both comfortable and classy. The food is great and perfect for the aforementioned snow: it's pure comfort. We started with the Brussels sprouts, which were unique and delicious. Mostarda, candied almonds, and blue cheese, with beautifully caramelized sprouts? It hits sweet, piquant, bitter, and savory along with all the textures. It's a must-try and a definite contender for top treatment of Brussels sprouts. For our second side, we got the tomato sugo, which was a very satisfying starter. Deep, rich tomato flavor, the perfect level of salt and herbs: you can taste the love and time that went into it. (The focaccia that came with was amazing, but you could totally eat this with a spoon, too.) For my main, I had the red bucatini (yes, I like tomatoes, especially when paired with time). It was absolutely awesome--the pasta was cooked perfectly and was the perfect shape for the sauce. The sauce was great. The chili oil added an excellent kick. The garlic breadcrumbs added textural interest and flavor. Again with the perfect, savory made-with-love mouthfuls. I was truly enamored with this one. For dessert, everyone went for the budino, a rich, delicious chocolate-hazelnut pudding topped with a generous mound of silky vanilla whipped cream, crunchy sugar cookie crumbles, and a drizzle of EVOO. It was perfectly balanced and just the right amount. Tying everything together was excellent service from everyone who we encountered. Knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient, they made our evening all the more pleasant.

The sugo was really delicious and garlicy- my only negative is I wish they warmed the bread up that is the only thing that would have made it a notch better. We ordered the short rib tagliatelle and the white spaghetti. The beef was super tender and the ragu for the tagliatelle was very good. And the white spaghetti was very well balanced between the acidity from lemon, saltiness from the Parmesan cheese and garlickyness. Definitely recommend!

We ordered online to-go to eat at a nearby brewery; we were quoted a 40-minute wait when placing the order for an ASAP pickup, which was not a problem, we totally had the time. Arrived about 45 minutes after ordering and was then told we had been "checked in", then waited about 15 or so minutes from then to get our food--the wait itself wasn't an issue since I had a grand old time browsing the goods in their small market area, I just wish their website made the pickup system a little clearer so I could've perhaps called ahead to check in or something? Their kitchen was also running a bit behind which added to the wait, but the nice folks at the counter offered me a comp coffee or sweet for the wait, which I thought was really cool of them--I got the cappuccino brownie, which was soooo good. The food itself was great--my chicken parm was DELICIOUS and they had the option to get it with the sauce on the side so it wouldn't get soggy in transit, which was really nice since I was taking it to-go; the sauce was so fresh and robust, the housemade noodles were a great texture, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The staff were all great (and super apologetic/communicative about the wait) and there's plenty of free street parking in the surrounding blocks. Definitely want to try some of their tasty-looking pizzas and soups next time I'm back, and would def try dining in at their little sitting area to see how it compares to the to-go!
