My girlfriend and I came here for breakfast and the food was pretty good! I had a French breakfast that came with a scrambled egg, bacon, toast, and blood sausage. I've never had a French before but this was pretty good! My girlfriend had the bacon baguette and she loved it! We also ordered some coffee that came in little shot cups but they got they job done! They were so strong, just the way I like it. If you're ever in the area, you should try this place out!

Eggs Royale of your dreams! Liquid as it should be!

Cost and tasty. Searched on yelp for a good place in this neighborhood and am not disappointed. Also great if you're alone: they have red papers and such and plenty others come here alone. Small portion enough for the small hunger- but I recommend more in case you are really hungry.

    Amazing. A thing of beauty.

I usually try to avoid chain restaurants while I'm traveling and if I knew this place was part of a chain I might have gone elsewhere. Luckily, I didn't know and I'm so happy we decided to eat here. I ordered the eggs benedict and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I wish I could have tipped the chef. Everything tasted amazing and looked beautiful. I only ordered one serving, but I wish I could have ordered more. My boyfriend had a crepe and really enjoyed that as well. Also, the service was amazing, everyone was so helpful, nice and prompt. This place provided above and beyond service. I would go here again even if the food was just okay because of the service.

After some aimless wandering, I stumbled across the Cote Brasserie for lunch. What I love about it is you can tell that they've put effort into the ambience, the presentation and the way they interact with customers. It was such a welcoming place. I had a 3-course set menu - flatbread with caramelised onion and camembert, chargrilled chicken breast with garlic butter and frites, finished with a dark chocolate pot and creme fraiche. All were presented perfectly and exactly what I'd expected. And that would be why it's not a 5-star review. Food was great - perfect, in fact. The vibe was also outstanding. But there was nothing that made me go "Wow!" Would definitely go back again. It's a safe place to take someone you would need to take out for a safe dining experience.

Delicious food and, finally, truly great service. Highly recommended for breakfast and the remainder of the menu looks delicious. Not cramped, pleasant vibe and atmosphere.

Very surprised this is a chain restaurant. Very good for a chain. Great deals: dine early (before 7pm) on weekdays and get two courses for ~10 GBP! I think it's a steal. I really liked the asparagus soup and roasted half chick with potatoes gratin & veggies. In general this place is very reasonably priced for what you get. Desserts were yummy- I had the crepe with strawberries!

It's a great place for small gatherings. Candle lit dinner initimte environment. I came here on a wed evening and it was packed. Nearly all the tables were full. Originally the waitresses had advised it is full but one of them said she will check with the manager. To my luck the manager allowed me in and seated me at a small table close to the bar. The service here is slow but all the staff is very friendly and reapectful which I appreciate. The manager herself showed me the menu and advised of the specials. I ordered a steak tartare (£6.75) and a grilled lamb (£13.95) and lemon sorbet for dessert. It was slow service to get their attention to order. The steak tartare for me personally was very new so I did not like it too much but I think it's just personal preference. The lamb was cooked very well, exactly as asked medium well. It came on a blanket of peas. It was a great portion I felt pretty full from it. They quickly gave me a menu for dessert. The lemon sorbet was excellent I don't know if they make it in house but it was so refreshing and sour which I loved. The price for it was very good too - only £1.95 for a scoop! The wait between the courses was very long to me since I sat alone it felt even longer. I went at 8:30 and left at 10pm. When I left more than 1 waitor had greeted me goodbye which is great service! I will definitely come back again and possibly try their lunch menu.

We were able to grab a reservation for an early dinner the same day. They had the front door/windows open so it feels as if you're dining al fresco, but still inside the restaurant. I was hungry and ordered the steak and fries. The steak came with a pat of herb butter. You can only choose med-rare or well-done. So of course, it was med-rare for me. It was delicious with fantastic flavor, enhanced with the melting herb butter. The fries were crisp and delicious. I don't know what type of sauce came with my steak on the side, but I ended up dipping my fries in them, and it made it a different experience. Thankfully I had room for dessert, so my wife and I split the Birthday Dessert Box. No it wasn't anyone's birthday, but the menu describes this as a golden chocolate orb with vanilla ice cream, honeycomb, chocolate strands, freeze-dried raspberries, gold flakes (didn't notice these), and the server pours hot salted caramel sauce on top when it arrives. This was divine! What a great way to end a fantastic dinner.

However, the young lady who has been the hostess of late has people skills that are almost repellent, at least so far as they have applied to me. Last night, a special night to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of one of my best friends, was marred by her giving us a crap table. When I asked for something a bit better and indicating that in my booking I had requested a booth, she responded snootily that booths are kept available for walk-in VIP's. If I owned the place, I would have fired her on the spot for making a remark like that. So, for those of you who are not VIP's, and I expect a few of you might not be, be prepared to sit where you're relegated and not where you'd prefer.

I probably could have gone without entree as I felt stuffed after the escargot and bread helpings. Sea bass was a great light entree choice after the appetizer. Served on a bed of broccoli it was seared well on the skin side. The rest of the party had the breaded veal which was a great choice as well. Sam's Riverside Is your ticket to go out out in Hammersmith, and before you tell me to do one, take a moment to read on. Sam's resides on the river. Now this isn't 'on the river' like their famous neighbour The River Cafe. You really are on the river here, right by the beautiful old suspension bridge that divides the bustling Hammersmith Broadway from leafy Mortlake. It's romantic and picturesque. If Turner was alive he'd have a window seat and he'd be busily slapping oil on canvas. Although if he stopped to survey inside he might phone his mate Toulouse Lautrec because this place has all the glamour, pizazz and energy he captured so brilliantly. For all its gold trim, velvet banquette seating and statement lighting the place retains a relaxed, friendly air and a hell of a buzz. Maitre d' Sam isn't here to greet us tonight - 10% off the final bill please - but his philosophy of genuine hospitality is evident wherever you turn. Well spaced tables, friendly staff who make you feel at home and a brasserie menu that pushes you without sending you over the edge. When restauranting is in the blood, this is what you get. Are there artists in the kitchen? The best thing a chef can do with fresh shellfish is not much at all and they duly oblige. Plump oysters served on ice slip down very nicely. Shellfish is obviously a thing here and it adds to the luxurious feel. Diners tuck into fruits de mer with aplomb. White shirts ruined, but boy that prawn head needed to come off quick so he could devour the sweet meat below. Oysters need a bed so we order some Parmesan churros. Melt in the mouth unctuousness each stick. Fluffy delights. Delicious, dangerous stuff. One starter to share after that. Scallops, again with little done to them but a burnish on each side, accompanied with a seaweed beurre blanc and artichoke. A wonderful combination well put together. A good example of lifting the menu above normal brasserie fare. I ordered the aptly named brill as a main. A whole fish served with braised endive. Showstopper. The better half went for chicken, mushroom and broccoli. No surprises there. Just great ingredients very well executed. No room for pudding. Puddings bore me anyway. Much more interested in people watching over another bottle of too easily quaffable house white. A couple of familiar faces in tonight. Maybe they've been filming at the Riverside Studios which is part of this complex and adds to the razzmatazz. There is an air of elegance to everything here. The menu, the room, the view. Even we feel elegant here and I spilled brill sauce down my front and the missus has broccoli in her teeth. Nobody cares. They're all having a whale of a time. We're all out out and we may be here some time.
