I've been going to this dentist for several years now. Very nice people and facility. However, a few weeks ago I called in and told them I was in significant pain and they told me I would have to wait about 3 days to get me in. I repeated to them that I was in pain but got no offer to get me in earlier. She knew I wasn't happy and when I mentioned that I would find another Dr. she said let her know and she would forward my records to them. I ended up calling another dentist and explained the situation and the Dr. fit me in that afternoon. Ended up needing a root canal. The new Dr was super nice and had a great facility as well. Will need to get my records from them. To not fit in a regular patient who is in pain is not cool. Just know that when using this Dr. read more

My husband and I both love dr Chan + team! My husband has been going here for years, so when I decided to switch dentists it was a no brainer to switch here. Front staff are super welcoming and very kind. They also take photos of their new patients which is a great way to get to know and remember everyone. I had a cleaning with Amber and she was very thorough. Had me going home with squeaky clean teeth. Very nice, and not awkward at all. Dr Chan and his staff don't make you feel weird or embarrassed or ashamed about your teeth which is huge. nobody likes to go to the dentist (sorry cypress) but when you have a great staff it makes it so much easier. I got a few fillings done, one was a little too high and they got me back in immediately to get it fixed which was awesome. I also really like how dr Chan talks to his staff especially assistants. I know it's a "small" thing but it really makes a huge difference for both me as a patient and then as an employee I'm sure. I was switching my kids from a pediatric dentist to a regular dentist. In the first appointment at Cypress, each of my kids were told to have "7 and 8 cavities"; and basically the same teeth. I took one of my kids back to the pediatric dentist and was told that there were "no cavities" and those were stains from the previously applied sealant, and that they wouldn't do a procedure that drills (repair cavity) on the tooth just for that. The pediatric dentist examined the x rays taken at Cypress and did an examination as well. A big difference on approach, which may compromise tooth health, and where I felt that this dentist was profiting more than providing good care. read more

I have received the best dental service at this location time and time again! You see the same hygienist every time, so you always feel like you have dedicated care. They explain everything they're doing and are so gentle! I usually see Amber but had to reschedule a recent appointment and was placed with a new hygienist, she was fantastic and I felt comfortable every second I was in the chair! Brian always remembers who you are and takes great care in connecting with his clients, he trusts his team and for good reason. I have been going to Dr. Chan for over 2 years now. I have nothing but good experiences at his office. The front desk Haylee is always warm and friendly. My hygienist is very gentle, and Dr. Chan never presses me to have minor things fixed. I know what is critical and what is optional at the given time. His office is the most organized medical office I have ever seen. Runs like clockwork-- I never have to wait more than a few minutes. I am a picky patient so if I am happy, I'm sure others will be too. Being a dentist or hygienist during COVID is not an easy job. Imagine working on people's mouths and being so close all day. I have now been to Cypress Dental countless of times since my last review in 2015. Their staff continues to be professional and courteous. I no longer have to dread coming to the dentist for a 6 month check-up/cleaning or yearly radiographs. My childhood memories of seeing the dentist are absolute nightmares. Dental cleanings usually left me with bleeding, cut-up gums. Hence the reason I went years upon years without seeing the dentist when I moved out of my parents house. Thankfully, I don't have to worry about having anymore bad experiences thanks to their dental hygienist, Bailey. She is absolutely amazing! Not only is she down to earth and an overall sweetheart, she takes her time to make sure the process is absolutely painless. Once you see Dr. Chan, you'll never see another dentist again. He is patient with answering any questions you may have, and he does a great job of explaining any issues. He removed all four of my wisdom teeth and with as nervous as I was, he was there to constantly reassure me everything would be okay. I hate going to the dentist, and my last dental experience was a bit of a nightmare. Well, not as much for me, but it definitely was for the girl in the chair being worked on next to me while the hygienist said, "well, if you had brushed your teeth better this wouldn't hurt as much!" I found Cypress Dental accidentally, after a friend referred me to a different place that did paraffin hand treatments and I came here instead. But I decided to give them a chance, and I'm so glad I did. There's no shame for not flossing three times a day, the focus is on making your teeth better, and the staff is great with compassionate care. Yesterday I had a few fillings that needed to be fixed worked on, and Dr. Chan was able to do them quickly and painlessly without the use of shots. Seriously. I didn't even know what was being done. Plus they're giving away free whitening trays and treatments. Those are enough plusses for me. read more

I went to Dr. Chan's office on the recommendation of a number of coworkers. I'd been without dental insurance for years, so needless to say, my mouth was not pretty. More than anything, I appreciate the fact that Dr. Chan and his staff didn't feel the need to harp on what I already knew about my mouth. Everyone that works in the office is kind and compassionate. Dentist visits are never "fun", but I don't dread visiting Dr. Chan and his staff. Veronica is great at what she does and I never leave the office in pain. They have done a fantastic job on my mouth and I haven't been this confident with my smile in a long time. You're not just another number in this office- they remember your name and take the time to explain dental jargon in ways you can understand. They are also very much so on top of what my insurance can cover and plan the year so that I'm not paying too much out of pocket. CHEAP INITIAL APPOINTMENT BUT PRICE GOUGES LOYAL PATIENTS. Dr. Chan's offers a great deal for new patients. My husband and I both signed on as we were new to the area and in need of a dentist. Over the years, prices have steadily increased and when I have had dental issues the wait for an appointment has been several weeks. Today I was there for a cleaning and was told that I needed a full x-ray panel or would be denied my cleaning. I balked because I had x-rays last year for my $5K dental implant but was told those "didn't count". Also today, Dr. Chan is running a new patient special with highly discounted x-rays. I asked if I could get a discount like the new patients on the x-rays for being a long-time patient. I was denied. So, I'm done. It is apparent to me that Dr. Chan's business model is to lure in new patients with a great deal and then gradually price gouge over time. He books his time up looking for new patients so much that his existing patients - paying an exorbitant fees - can't get in for weeks when they have the need. Maybe if he treated his existing customers better we'd stick around! I'm looking elsewhere. Goodbye Dr. Chan. read more

I like this place my kids have been going here since their first checkup at 1 year and I've always been happy and pleasantly surprised at their thoughtfulness. ive watched them help teach my kids to take care of their teeth, who doesn't want that.
