Wow! Where do I begin? This place is top tier. I broke a veneer (I had them done in Mexico) front tooth and very noticeable. I didn't want to make the long trip all the way there for a chipped tooth. I contacted them and they got me an appointment the same day. Dr. Sanders explained my options and listened to all my concerns. He repaired it fast and seamlessly for a very reasonable cost. Super friendly, efficient staff, Elizabeth at the front desk was nice and inviting, and Stevie, the dental assistant was very knowledgeable and patient, she even let me pick a product from their amazing gift basket. Always a little concerned when a practice turns over. Had been going to George Z for years and found him professional, caring and gentle. The new provider, Dr. Sanders immediately allayed those concerns. The team hasn't missed a step. Dr. Sanders is welcoming, professional and gets the job done. I've written reviews for Dr. Z in the past and am happy to do it again. I write this review in slight pain today. But am happy about it. I had a cavity which was causing much MUCH more pain. I contacted Dr. Z and was able to setup an apt without much of a wait. Background: Way back a long time ago, I had a different dentist and a similar cavity that resulted in a tooth extraction. It was a bad experience and I didn't want to repeat it either! Fast forward to present day. This cavity that I had required extraction of the tooth. A special circumstance that most people won't need to go through. Dr. Z was nice and comforting from administering the anesthesia to removing the offending tooth. I didn't even know he pulled it! He kept talking to me and tried to keep my mind off of the work he did. Which, I might add, was done very quickly! So, why am I in slight pain now? When you have this much work done, there's going to be discomfort. But, compared to the pain of the cavity, this is a cake walk! ---------------- Bottom Line The entire staff is nice and pleasant to work with. They treat you with respect and comfort. Dr. Z is a rare gem when it comes to dentistry. I wish all doctors were like him! The work I had done today was nowhere close to the bad experience I've had before. Dr. Z and his staff are absolutely fabulous! They go above and beyond-I had a toothache and was wondering if I had a cavity so my sister recommended I go here. When I called and explained to them that I didn't have insurance, they suggested I do an emergency exam vs. a new patient-which saved me about $100. I was very impressed with the professionalism at this office. It turns out I didn't have a cavity but Dr. Z spent the time to explain to me why I should get my wisdom teeth removed and even wrote me referrals. I really appreciated how he tried to get to know me and even more-my sister just received a kind little thank you from them in the mail, since she referred me. It just goes to show that they do put customer service as a priority :) not to mention, they are upfront about their costs-now that's something to smile about! read more

This was my first time going to this dental office after my old dentist decide to close shop and not tell any of his patients... This place is the best dental office I have ever been! They treat you with respect, the doctor is down to earth and doesn't think he is better than you, and the price is great. They accept all insurances as far as I know. They offer you snack and goodies, and most of all they truly care. The doctor is honest and tells you all you need to know about your healthcare. I am super happy to have found this place! Dr. Z saved me thousands $$ and my teeth. I was seeing another dentist who suggested my wisdom tooth was impacted and I should see a surgeon. I did. An X-ray was taken and I was left in a room to watch a video, then some guy comes in telling me I need to get the tooth out its impacted and hurries me to the front to schedule. They wanted a lot of money up front and I said I'd get a second opinion This is where I meet Dr Z. I did a Google search for a nearby dentist, and called to see about a consult. He invites me in to a conference room for a FREE consultation, reviewed my X-ray to tell me there's nothing wrong with my tooth! It's not impacted and I don't need surgery. It's been over 5 yrs and that wisdom tooth is still issue free but taking its sweet ass time coming in (I'm 39yrs old)! Lol I never went back to my other dentist or to that money scheming surgeon. Dr. Z and his staff have been a part of my life for over 6 years now. Staff is amazing, atmosphere is calming for those that get nervous at the dentist. Originally I picked Dr. Z. because he was in a convenient location to where I worked. That had to be 10 or more years ago. I couldn't be happier with George and his staff of professionals. I wasn't happy with my young sons pediatric dentist and started taking him to Z Dentistry when he was quite young. He came home saying "he is the coolest dentist ever mom". He is now over 16 and to this day he doesn't mind going to the dentist. We both feel like we are part of the family there. Even work that I think is fine, Dr. Z will say he thinks we should re-do because it doesn't look right to him. He always has our best interests in mind. I trust him with my mouth!!!! I've had my share of dentistry, that's for sure. Don't like going to the dentist, but I found Dr. Z, his office and staff, 10 years ago when I moved to Sparks. They've become like great friends to me. They're always super friendly and work to make me as comfortable as I can possibly be at the dentist. Dr. Z is personable and polite. I feel like he takes the extra time to discuss concerns when they arise. The staff is equally friendly and caring. Years ago there was one assistant there who didn't seem to have much empathy for anxiety filled patients, but she's been gone for a long time. Maria is the current and long time assistant who has worked with me most of the time, and she is a cheerful and truly understanding lady. I moved to another state, and I hope I can find another great dentist who has equally caring staff. I'll miss you all! read more

Dr. Z has been my dentist for over 10 years. I have to say he is the nicest, most compassionate dentist I have ever been to. Before my husband passed away in 2016, early on, back in 2006, I had taken him to a different dentist (before we started with Dr. Z) and were told that my husband needed about $3,500 in dental work, crowns, etc. When we started with Dr. Z, all my husband needed was a couple of fillings. My husband was in poor health to begin with and, thank goodness Dr. Z realized what really mattered and what did not. My husband was in no pain with his gums or his teeth during this time. One of my onlays came off in 2015, so I went to this dentist to put it back on the tooth. When they put it back, onlay didn't fit well, and they shaved a lot of its upper surface. I felt it was weird. Sure enough, only two years later, the same onlay came off again! I called them, but they said they were not responsible for the work they did two years ago. For comparison, none of my other dozen onlays came off in the past 20 years and most of them never came off since they were put on 30 years ago. read more

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Z for years now, and we always get the best care. Everyone from the front desk to the hygienists to Dr. Z himself are so kind and thoughtful. We don't have dental in our insurance plans, and they price things in a way that's truly affordable, even without insurance. I've had dentists in the past who always suggested extra work at nearly every appointment, but with Dr. Z I'm 100% confident that he would only do work that was necessary and in my best interests. He's also just so nice. I get really nervous in any medical setting, and he is always really considerate of that and is obviously working really hard not to hurt me.
