I made an appointment so they would have the time to get it in from their warehouse and give it a little spin around the parking lot and alley, and less than 10 minutes later, I had her loaded up and ready to go home to take on more adventures. Staff was friendly, helped me with sending in my invoice info to Aventon to get some bonus free perks, had me download the app so I could unlock new max speeds, and recommended taking a picture by the balloon mural. Love the bike, love the town of Erie, and my husband was so impressed by their service that he just purchased and picked up his eBike from CyclErie so we can enjoy our adventures together!

The next day I was informed the price for which I hit 'Pay Now' and for which I received a confirmation and an order# was inaccurate. To complete the sale there would be an additional charge of ~$239. I offered to meet them halfway and pay more than their advertised price plus I offered to waive any maintenance/tuning program they offer with new purchases. LBC declined. They refused to honor their advertised price. Informed me I would need to pay $1,948 for a bicycle I thought I had already purchased on their site for $1,684 the day before. All this being said, after we could not come to an agreement, the sale was indeed cancelled and I was not charged. However, it is frustrating I was unable to complete my purchase at the advertised price, particularly after offering a reasonable compromise.

The associate said, I'll jump on this right now and have it ready within an hour. I said calmly "cool, I'll grab some lunch and come back." I came back 2 hours later, he was sitting behind the desk doing absolutely nothing, and the bike still wasn't even touched!! I literally had to say I'm going to wait right here and watch you do this, so I can take my bike home. He did it in 15 minutes. The phone was ringing like crazy, with no answer (figures). Not one apology, or explanation was ever given. I wasn't charged for the labor, but Jesus.. How do you expect to survive running a customer facing business without doing the absolute bare minimum of effort to meet expectations?

Once arriving I learn the Air Rush is not in stock and was immediately trying to be sold another product. They had said, "they sold the last one this morning". However on the Trek website, the Air Rush is still available at Louisville Cyclery. The product is also showed available for pick up on the Louisville Cyclery website.This time I purchase the "available" Air Rush online and receive a receipt and order number for the "in stock" unit at the Louisville Cylcery location. I got back to Louisville Cylcery and the unit is not available. I would not recommend visiting this location or shopping online. The Trek website still list the Air Rush available at Losivlle Cyclery two hours later when it is not in stock. Deceptive marketing and misleading the customer. Disappointed in Trek and their dealer here. Additionally, Louisville Cycelry still shows the Air Rush as available on their website.

The interior was much bigger than I expected, and the floor is packed with bikes, gear, clothing, and other types of equipment. I was greeted right when I walked in and explained that it's been a while since I've owned a bicycle, so there has been a lot of advancement that I've not really kept up on. I don't know much about the details of biking other than the basics, but Bill (at least that was the name on my receipt lol) was super nice and explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. After a little back and forth, I ended up purchasing a Specialized bike in a really pretty sage green color. Bill explained the warranties, their commitment to servicing their bicycles, and even let me know that they're always happy to help or answer questions that come up after you begin getting more acquainted with the bike. While bicycles have become a lot more expensive since the last time I owned one, I'm very happy with my purchase! I took it out that evening and it was a ton of fun. The seat is a bit uncomfortable, as many probably are, but I'm so happy to finally have a good bike that fits me. Definitely appreciated the help and I would recommend this place to anyone that might be in the market for a new bike!

I visited e-bike of Colorado because I was looking for a commuter e-bike. I needed something…read morecomfortable for getting around town, going to the gym, and other short trips, maybe up to 20 miles. They have a wide selection of styles and brands. The staff listened to what I wanted and found the perfect bike for me--a Gazelle with a Belt Drive that does everything I need and more. Ivo Vargas, the head mechanic, set up my bike quickly and did a fantastic job. He also added their Flat Tire Protection (an add-on, but if you've ever stepped on a goat head, you know you want it). I was so surprised when they called me the next day to say my bike was for pickup, even though they say it (currently) takes 4 days - speak about over-delivering. The shop has a great atmosphere, there's no pressure to buy bikes or accessories, and the service team is excellent. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.
