CycleBar Cedar Park is fun, friendly, and great cardio! The atmosphere is welcoming and fun! The owners and staff are very kind and take time to talk with everyone. I was hoping this studio would be better since it is a franchise and they spend time with instructor training. The instructor I went to was great- lots of energy, cued well and was on beat. She did the whole hair flipping, clapping, and dancing thing. However, there were a lot of breaks and sitting in between pushes. I didn't get a good workout compared to the other studios (both in Austin and around the country) I have tried. This might have been because of the clientele. It looked like there were a lot of people new to indoor cycling so maybe she felt like she needed to keep it easy. It might be better with time. She used the leader board twice for sprints (similar to Flywheel). It was hard to see where I was compared to everyone else until it was over so it was not really motivating. You can opt out of this if you want. They use a bar for weights, hence the name cycle bar. There are two bars on every bike but I wasn't aware you could switch out for a heavier set. I had 4 and 6 lbs. Things to know. They have shoes if you need them and lockers. They don't have showers. There were two bathrooms. I like the music loud but this was the first time I have left a studio with ringing in my ears. There was rap music with explicit language and a country song. Not my favorite. The back row was not elevated so it is hard to see the Instructor if you are in the back row. I might go back in a few months. Not worth the price tag until the classes are harder. read more

My experience with this company has been awful. I am a new mom and was looking for something to get back on track health wise. I liked the classes and was talked into a three month contract and was assured by the girl at the desk that it would not renew after the three months. A month in I started having back problems and stopped going, I did commit to and pay for the three months I agreed to. A month before my three month trial was to end I emailed to make sure they would cancel- no response. Was charged in that fourth month and tried calling and emailing and nothing- they won't respond. Finally some girl named Katie wrote me and said she responded already (lie) and my membership was canceled. Turns out she did not cancel it- I continued to get charged and I blocked them with my credit card company. They now have a collections agency harassing me. Absolutely disgusting, especially since this is a health and wellness company. I would try F45, they are amazing, steer clear of this shady business. read more

I had high hopes from the outside, but I just wasn't impressed with cyclebar. They have 40+ bikes in a giant spin room, (and your bike is assigned so I didn't get to sit next to my friends) but the store front is TINY. I felt like I was SO crammed with sweaty sardines trying to get my shoes off and bag out of my locker. The instructor played neon moon slow song, which seemed very strange for a spin session. It was so dark I couldn't see where the arm weights were located on my bike. They gave us glow in the dark bracelets- but why? When I walked in, my name was written on my locker, and they had a free water bottle set up for me, but the whole experience just felt like one big sale. (The water bottle melted in my dishwasher) I also really hate studios with leaderboard screens because sometimes I want to ride at my own pace and listen to my own body and not feel intimidated- even as a fit person. I don't think this place actually knows that much about cycling or fitness, and overall, I'm not interested in what this place is offering. read more

Wow, this place rocks!!! The instructors are accommodating, energetic and motivational. There is space to move between the bikes and the ventilation is refreshing. The space is very clean and inviting offering free shoes, towels, filtered water and individual set your own combo lockers. The staff is abundant offering help as needed. There is an electronic board to monitor your status in the class if you chose. Bikes have electronic display to keep me informed of my work level. Joining, registering, booking rides and monitoring progress is all available on line - very easy. Cedar Park was more than ready for this studio. I suggest a try out ride for everyone interested in a new level of workout. Not to mention the price is right! read more

This team is energetic, well- organized, and absolutely amazing! I'm extremely lucky to have found it when I did. The instructors are what make these classes so fun and addicting to work out. Great spot all around and you feel so dang good when you leave this bar! read more

I had an amazing time at cyclebar. I was in town visiting and did a drop-in class and was in love. The studio is fresh, clean, and they really make you feel welcome. The class was super inspiring and after taking many kinds of spin classes I was really impressed with their attention to detail and the motivating way the instructors carry their classes. The best work out I've ever had. After having a baby I had ZERO motivation to workout. However joining here made me want to go everyday. I'm going about 4-5 times a week now. Although now they have added a few new changes that have wishing they hadn't. The afternoon classes are now 530 and 645. 530 can be tough to get to after work daily but 645 is too late, so I'm trying to work that out. Also my favorite instructor Crystal isn't working as much. So I'm pretty sad. I love her. Her music really pumps me up. It's usually hip hop/rap which really makes you get pumped up while working out. The other instructors music sometimes is stuff I don't know so it's harder to push thru. So I just absolutely love crystal and her energy. But I've done rides with the other and I make it work because I like the place. It's also super clean and nice. I have been bringing all my friends and they live it too. So go check them out. read more

I had never taken a spin class before CycleBar opened up but after touring prior to their opening, I bought a membership thinking I'd give it a shot and cancel after the first month if I didn't love it. But I do love it!! The first class kicked my butt, and honestly.. every class does, but I've already seen an improvement in my strength and endurance after just a month and I've grown quite addicted to starting my day "at the bar". I've taken classes with nearly all the instructors at this pin t, and love each of them. They each bring something different with their teaching styles - but all of them are energetic and motivational! The staff up front are all welcoming and encouraging, and there to help with anything you may need (including bike setup). I love that shoes and towels are provided, and they have filtered water available to refill your bottle as needed. Champagne toasts in Sundays, wine on Wednesdays, and fruit available after every ride. It really can't get any better!! read more
