Had an awesome time at my first class today with Anne! It was a nice change from my fitness routine and I sweat my ass off! The studio itself is beautifully decorated (and nicely scented too) with all of the details that we as women appreciate (hair dryer, conditioner, mints, oranges, clean towels etc). The music rocked and I'm looking forward to coming back for another class soon. Congrats to William for creating such a wonderful studio! read more

This is only based on one class. I'd been looking for a closer, cheaper alternative to SoulCycle and this place had awesome reviews. I went in on a Saturday morning and it wasn't crowded. The facilities are nice and clean and the staff is pretty good. The class itself was average. I got a good workout, but the energy in the room wasn't there for me. The instructor was not the one I signed up for and I didn't get a notification of a changed instructor. It seemed like the instructor was trying new exercises out. The counts were difficult to keep up with (and it wasn't just me!) and by the time the class got a hang of the exercise and timing, the instructor would move onto some new move. The music was also just average, and we didn't "move to the music" at all. It's just loud in the background. I might be back if I really want to go to a boutique spin class and not have to go all the way to the city or Palo Alto. I definitely would choose a new instructor though. read more

Hands down the best spin/cycle place I have ever been to, and I've tried out my fair share of places! All the instructors are knowledgeable and push you to get an insane yet fun workout! Liam is my favorite, I highly recommend a class with him! The facilities are great, clean and beautiful bathrooms and showers and lockers to put your stuff away. Staff is really friendly, and it's honestly the best workout! Cannot recommend this place enough! read more

Tried this spin studio a few times since I moved to the area. Great classes and very clean and well maintained studio. The owner is friendly and helpful. This is a great workout, you don't be disappointed! read more

I went in for my first spin class ever, I have a foot injury so my doctor wants me to only do low-impact exercise...but wow, it was intense. Instructor Tammara was super accommodating and welcoming, even when I couldn't do any of the standing positions she was asking us to do. I did my best to keep up and the class felt like a really positive environment, understanding of my limitations and injury, and I really appreciated it. read more

The moment I walked into CycleScape I was immediately impressed and excited to take a class! I was greeted by the owner himself and he was very welcoming showing me how to use the lockers, etc. The studio itself is huge with two screens that display upbeat music videos that really get you in the mood to spin your heart out. Instructor Nicole has amazing energy, cues and great music! I really liked how she incorporated working the arms and core. Overall my experience was amazing and I can't wait to go back! Already bought my package! :) read more

Great workout with friendly and welcoming staff. Great for out of owners like me as you don't actually need your spinning shoes from home since they also have cages. The screens projecting scenic rides definitely makes the ride pass quickly. read more

This place rocks! We're in town for a few days and thought to try it out. Best workout ever! William had a great high intensity workout. The place is great - everything you need for a quick, high energy spin class. We'll be back! read more

I had a great first experience at Cycle Scape. I went for the first time on Saturday and had Liam as my instructor. I liked how the room the classes are held is on the smaller side. At other cycle places I've been to the room is completely jammed, so you almost feel like you can't step out even if you wanted to. I also liked that the class and overall facility felt more casual than other places I've been. At other spots I felt like every single person in the class was a pro spinner, and here I was falling behind everyone. Liam's music was amazing. I'm one of those people who gets a ton of energy and can push myself harder if the music is good, and his definitely was. I also loved the footage that was played on the screens throughout the class. For the most part it was GoPro footage of all types of sports: snowboarding, dirtbiking, skydiving over Dubai, you name it. Watching the footage gave me even more energy, and was a welcome distraction when I was feeling tired. Just like any cycle class you will definitely be sweating at the end, but with this one I felt so energized afterward, and immediately went home and told my husband he needed to join me for the next one. I will definitely be back! read more

I just started coming here last week and I have nothing but good things to say. The staff was super friendly and helped me set up the bike and explained everything that I needed to know for the class. It is such a positive environment and they really make it fun. I have had a few different instructors and they have all been amazing and I love the variety they offer. Mandy is one of my favorites and she is always so welcoming and helpful and it really makes the experience so much better. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get a good workout in a fun environment. read more

I'm OBSESSED with cycle scape! Everyone there is super helpful, kind and welcoming. The facility is very clean and well kept which is something I can definitely appreciate. I've been to classes with every single instructor here and I have never been disappointed with any of them. Each has their own style, but every single one is full of energy and I come out feeling like I got the workout of a lifetime. Highly recommend this place! P.S. it also helps that this place is very reasonably priced(: read more

Great instructors and a super great studio! I'm a beginner and I always feel welcome and encouraged.

Cycle Scape has completely changed my life. I found this place back in January, around all those New Year's resolution studio/gym trials. This one got me HOOKED after one class. I've had a chance to try out all of their classes and instructors; each instructor has their own vibe and musical style which provides clients with a variety of options for a workout that fits their own vibe and workout needs. Dan is always up on the latest music in his classes, which range from Beats to Power to Hip Hop. William throws together a good playlist with some solid throwbacks and the current hits. His GLOW class on Friday is a must if you are new! Sara and Mandy will show you step by step what moves to expect for their Beats classes, keeping the party going and making you want to sing along. Margie and Jamie will integrate dancing with heavy hills and a great arm routine towards the end, working out every part of your body. Parking can be tricky at times BUT a pro tip is to start circling the bottom floor of the parking garage, five minutes after the previous class ends is a great chance to find a spot because the previous riders are leaving. Def check this place out if you're in the mood to try something new and fun! read more

I miss you Cycle Scape!!! I recently moved to Pleasanton and it's been weeks since I've been able to attend a class here. This place is so much fun, every staff member I've met has been wonderful and the Friday night Glow classes are AMAZING! I love that the room is dark and the music is loud. Makes it easy to forget how hard you're working and also helps curb any bit of self-consciousness you might have about working out in a group like this. The classes are also affordable and the atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant. If you guys ever think about opening another location, I recommend Pleasanton ; ) read more

Took the Saturday morning classes with Nicole and LOVED it! I've taken spin classes at my local 24 Hour fitness and was skeptical to take another one. I'm so glad I gave Cycle Scape a shot! I was sweating like crazy and the arm work out was amazing! Now I'm hooked and can't wait to go back! read more

Just wanted to say again how awesome this place is!! Cycle Scape is the best workout I have ever had. The instructors are great and so motivating! Can't wait until my next class! read more

Support a small business that has parking and very competitive pricing. plus --you don't have to worry about your classes expiring. Been taking classes here since they opened a year ago and I appreciate how Will and the rest of the staff are open to feedback and suggestions. A truly unique place. read more

Super clean place, energetic and "time flies" type of classes. I was intimidated to try because of little cycling experience and not a very good bicycle rider (on the street) - I also CrossFit, weightlift and run. Love the classes, great sweat, comfortable amount of space between bikes, won't go deaf (unlike some cycle places) and easy to learn. read more

Cycle Scape is the ABSOLUTE best!! The staff is so friendly and the vibe is so welcoming. The classes are amazing. They have a variety of classes to fit whatever level of workout you want. I loved it and had so much fun while getting an awesome workout!! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this workout. My first time was with Nicole, that girl is a machine! I'm so lazy when it comes to working out, so i need something quick, that can kick my butt. This is it! I bought a package, and will be back. I left dripping with sweat and satisfaction. They use weights so you get a little arm and upper body workout too. by far, THE BEST workout class ive been to. read more

Cycle Scape rocks! The studio is clean, professional, and hip. Nicole, the instructor is amazing. And the class, along with the music and video screens, takes you on a journey that is not only good for your body, but also rejuvenating for your soul. The energy that is pumping out of the place is intoxicating. Also, the owners, William and Bambi, and his staff, are kind and extremely helpful. You gotta go! read more

Love love love! Super friendly atmosphere and kick ass workout! Great new spot in Walnut creek. The package deals are very reasonable and it's a super fun work out. read more

This studio is phenomenal! First class. William does an amazing job with the place. It is clean and beautiful. Nicole Adamo is my favorite instructor ever!!! She's so upbeat and works you hard with great music. I like the SoulCycle vibe but it's way better than SoulCycle. I'm addicted. I've tried several instructors and they've all been great! Highly recommend. Excellent workout. read more

Took my first intro class at Cycle Scape a few weeks ago and now I'm hooked! The facility is in a great location in downtown Walnut Creek and parking is easy at the structure next door. The class itself was challenging but very fun with upbeat music. Can't wait to go back! read more

I've been coming to this studio since January and I am consistently impressed with how clean it is and how accommodating the staff is. I take Anne's class on Sundays and that girl is a BEAST!! Great music, powerful energy and always challenging. She takes time to make sure your bike is set up correctly too. The awesome video screens take your mind off the fact that you're completely drenched and that you're breathless!! Newly added fans help with that too. This place is a WIN WIN!! read more

I cannot say enough positive stuff about Cycle Scape. The amenities, the instructors and the management is amazing! William, the owner, always greets you with an enthusiastic smile and welcome. I have never had a bad instructor there, but Nicole Adamo kicks ass! Her classes are unlike any spin class you have taken anywhere else, her energy is through the rough and she keeps you smiling while you make a puddle of sweat on the floor. This has become my second home and I honestly can't wait to get to class everyday! read more

Cycle Scape is amazing! Their instructors are super friendly and upbeat. My favorite class is Mandy on Sundays at 9:30am. Such a great way to get in an awesome workout while having fun doing it. Parking is easy, the facility is kept nice and clean, and the staff is amazing. William, the owner is always so happy and welcoming! Their app makes it super easy to register for a class. It's one of my favorite places to workout in the East Bay! read more

I definitely am now spoiled from Cycle Scape and don't know if I can go back to "gym" spin classes again. I love the convenience of getting in and out so quickly- class never feels boring and I always leave feeling like I just had a great workout! I do wish the studio space was a little larger, and the bikes a little further apart- sometimes I literally feel like the person next to me is right in my personal space. The first couple rides felt a bit stuffy and claustrophobic, but once I found a comfortable spot by a door it was much better. read more

Tried this place out for a month because of Groupon. It was awesome. Instructor Liam is so energetic and knows how to keep the party going. Great workout, lots of fun! read more

Amazing studio! I live in Los Angeles, but am originally from Walnut Creek and have been waiting for a spin studio to open up. Cycle Scape has many bikes and a very clean studio. William, the owner was so nice and helpful. I took Amanda's class and definitely got a good work out! There was great music and good vibes. I will definitely be coming back to Cycle Scape when I am home! read more

If you love spinning then you have got to try Cycle Scape. Walking in you feel like you've just entered the coolest spin studio ever. Couple that with a super friendly vibe and a plethora of classes to fit your unique personality and you've got it made! read more

I am in love with indoor cycling and have been getting into it more and more. Taking new classes at different gyms and with different instructors. I'd have to say CycleScape is one of the cleanest gyms I've ever been in. On top of this they have some very exciting and upbeat classes. I took a ride with Jessica Banks and I am now obsessed she was motivating, knowledgeable, encouraging, and had some new challenging moves!!! She gave me a full body workout including some great arm techniques. I look forward to taking more classes with her at Cycle Scape and suggestion anyone go to her class to get a really great workout!!!! read more

I don't know why this has such a high rating on Yelp. It was OKAY.... Equivalent to classes I take at my gym. I could maybe understand if the prices were lower, but at the price they're offering, you should go to FlyWheel or SoulCycle instead. My instructor Jessica, could not follow the beat of the music and was hard to follow (and I've been to spin classes before). The workout seemed scattered and I don't feel like it was worth going. The screens didn't match the music/mood, and were distracting not in a good way. Many students in the class didn't have the right form, and the instructor did not help correct them, which could lead to further injury. read more

I have taken several Beats Cycle classes with Instructor Jessica! I have fallen in love with spinning. It's such a great workout but it's also tons of fun. The music and the energy from Jessica keeps you going and sweating. I enjoy that she incorporates weights and interval resistance into the class. Do yourself a favor and drop by to one of Jessica's classes, I promise you won't regret it. You'll leave the studio feeling AMAZING! read more

Sam's class at 7:30am on Saturday is the best way to start a weekend. Amazing work out! Sam is encouraging and inspiring, and she even let me borrow her own shoes when I showed up half awake in my Uggs one day . Epic fail, Sam to the rescue! She is the best! read more

I have to say I LOVE this place! I have taken the cycling classes at the gym, they don't compare to this place. The ambiance is great at Cycle Scape. I really liked the screens and the images that are displayed during the workout. They help motivate you to push yourself to your limit! I took Jessica's class. She is AMAZING! She had really GOOD music and had a way of motivating the crowd. I totally recommend her class! I liked it so much that I purchased a package after my fist class with Jessica. It's nice to have a workout class that I look forward to every week! Thank you Jessica! I recommend to check out Cycle Scape. They provide towels and free lockers. The facility is also very clean! read more

Believe, this place is AWESOME ! * Was so worried about doing this its great go at your own pace. First class POWER RIDE w/ SAMANTHA ! AMAZINGLY AWSOME UPBEAT ! Her words encourage and push you to push your self. * Now did BEAT RIDE w/ JESSICA, she was SO AMAZINGLY MOTIVATING. Beats is harder but it's faster pace. Power is more pushing harder versus fast. *THESE CLASSES ARE AMAZING. YOU FEEL WELCOME from the moment you walk in someone is sitting near desk ALWAYS ANSWER QUESTIONS, I LOVE IT, JUST TRY IT seriously... You will feel amazing ********* I just want to say Samantha and Jessica are both amazing ! I love there classes. I am not going to say one is better than the other because it's not. The energy and enthusiasm they express for 45 minutes is amazing they are equally great. Thank you ladies. read more

I love Cycle Scape. I have been with them since the beginning and try to incorporate it in my weekly schedule as much as I can. The people make the experience, the music is fun and you never leave without your entire body in a full sweat. The main reason why I choose this over Soul Cycle or Fly Wheel is the price. You can not BEAT the amazing prices they offer and I hope they never change that! I am a loyal fan of Cycle Scape! read more

I really want to love Cycle Scape. I've been there a few times and my husband has been multiple times and we always seem to come home with the same opinion... It's a beautiful facility with nice equipment but there are a few issues that are pretty major deal breakers for me personally. I'll leave this review as feedback for improvement, because I think that if a few things are tweaked, Cycle Scape could be incredible. Suggestions: 1. Provided better training to instructors 2. Have instructors count to the beat of the music and encourage students in class to ride to the beat 3. Get black-out blinds for the spin room 4. Improve the quality or provide better training to instructors on how to use the sound/mic system. It currently lacks consistency. 5. classes are not even close to being full. Often times there are only 4-5 people in a class which means the energy in the room suffers. I'll bet if they can work on 1-3, classes will fill up in no time. On the plus side - the location is great, parking is easy and it's much more reasonably priced than FlyWheel or Soul Cycle. I hope to visit again in the future when things get a bit more streamlined! read more

Love it! I look forward to coming back every time. I've taken spin classes at 24 Hr Fitness and they were definitely subpar. You actually get a little bit of an upper body workout, too, because the instructors incorporate arm movements. The first class is free, so why not? Also, I bought a one month unlimited deal on Living Social. Most classes I don't really enjoy, but the 3 I've taken so far have me addicted! read more
