I love JustRide! The instructors don't just bring the heat- they bring incredible energy and a strong sense of community. I actually look forward to my workouts and seeing the amazing team. Mercedes has created such a welcoming, empowering studio environment that keeps regulars coming back and makes newcomers feel right at home. Special shoutout to Hailey, Amanda, Julianna, Kimia, Mercedes, and Elliana! You all are the best! If you haven't tried JustRide yet, what are you waiting for?!

Loved my experience at JustRide! I could immediately feel the tight knit community, which in my opinion is really what you pay for when you go to a boutique fitness studio. Mercedes even gave me her phone number so I could reach out with questions. You can't get that kind of care at commercial studios. - Easy parking - read the email because the tips were helpful to find the studio. - Mercedes was friendly when checking me in and got me set up with everything I needed. - Lockers and towels are complimentary! Shoe rental is $3. - Jessica oriented me to the bike and left me feeling confident and comfortable for my first class - Adriana brought the best vibes for her last ride! I was challenged and motivated. - Two bathrooms! They were spacious and had amenities such as makeup remover, dry shampoo, etc. I was able to change and get ready for the rest of my day.

The GOAT of cycling studios. Soul Cycle feels like an elementary PE class compared to JustRide. I've been to Soul Cycle twice, and it does not compare to Just Ride. The instructors here put so much effort into their classes. I've enjoyed every class so far, I have not had a bad experience, always was greeted with great service. The ladies here are killing it and Mercedes is always so attentive of all the customers. Even if you can't get the choreo right, or is off beat, still a great workout! Can't say enough good things about this place. It's literally a rave and cycling class combined.

Sad to say that it was a big solid no for me :( The treadmills look nice but when I got one of them, it felt flimsy and cheap, similar to what they have at 24 Hr Fitness or at apartment gyms. I know that these are the nice high end treadmills, so I'm confused. I couldn't jog on it at all, it just felt very difficult and my ankles/shins were achy after 30 seconds. I can jog outside and was able to jog on the treadmills across the street at Crunch Gym, but the ones here just felt terrible to even walk on, let alone jog. Also, the treadmills were thinner and narrower and very close together. The gym was busy at the time, and I ended up grabbing one of the treadmills at the end, which faced a wall. Several of them face either a wall or are blocked in some way. And it was the worst experience. Very depressing. I didn't even make it 5 minutes on the treadmill before I left. I really really wanted to like this gym for how affordable it is for what you get (unlimited premium classes + a full gym), but I just don't know...will have to check out other options for now.

The class is fun, uplifting, and meant to provide a safe and up beat space for everyone. Paisley gives several notices via a class announcement, social media posts, etc to let people know what the tone of the class is. Simply, if you don't like it DONT COME. "What--I Missed the Grand Opening?"…read more Well I walked into this place, not exactly knowing what it was all about. They've just been open a week or so and they already have 20 classes per week. I had the opportunity to chat with the owner as well as one of the instructors. They're really nice people and can help you set up your workouts. They were kind enough to give me a tour of the whole facility, and explain how the classes work. They have a have a brand new cycling room with brand new cycles. Naturally, they are completely adjustable, and you clip yourself in. The sequence for each cycling classe is the same--that is, you can be confident that your workout will be similar, no matter who the instructor is. Naturally, the instructors get the riding music going to keep you all motivated! To my astonishment, there are no contracts here! It is $125 per month, for as many workouts as you can handle. What a pleasant surprise to not have a contract! Naturally, the classes are open to either men or women. A special note: During the class, you're not competing against anyone else--you're just concentrating on doing your own work out. You clip in and the instructor gets you off on your ride! It is deliberately a dim environment during the ride; that way you can concentrate on your own workout. They have a towel at each station, and light weights, because they are also going to do some upper body exercise. That makes for a nice complete workout. I should also mention that they have a kids area right off the main entryway. The charge is $6 per child. But you can buy a set of 10 which brings it down to $5. Believe it or not, there is no age limit whatsoever on the child. You can bring in anyone. (Well maybe not Grandma.) I had a chance to talk with the owner of StarCycle, and she explained they are running a promotion for one free trial class. I'm signing up today! I really enjoyed visiting this facility and getting to know more about starcycle. Classy, friendly people.

I had Danica as the instructor and she was bubbly high energy throughout the whole class. Her music is hip-hop/club which is my cup of tea (though if I wanted to be nitpicky I wish there were newer songs on the playlist). She's definitely a fan of sprints and jump choreography lol. Choreography in this class in general was fairly straightforward; for beginners there is enough repetition to eventually get a handle of it. The class is pretty much 90% in the dark so no need to stress if you're lagging behind any pro spinners around you. There is no fitness statistics shown at the end of class (my preference, but I know there are people who want to be competitive). Music is as loud as the music at a dance club (my preference as well, but could be too much for some people). Maybe it's because I took a 5:45 PM weekday class but every person who attended the class skedaddled out of the studio quickly once class ended; at other spin studios I usually see at least a couple people linger and chat with the instructor for a few minutes. I wanted to thank Danica for the class but she was nowhere to be found once I was about ready to leave lol. Maybe it's just not how things work around here. Overall I enjoyed the class. Definitely recommend if you're curious on taking a spin class. It's $15 for the first class. Parking wasn't hard to find (it is located in the midtown-y part of Danville but there are a few parking spots right at the entrance of the studio and there is a whole public parking lot across the street from it).

I've tried several other fitness studios in SF, but nowhere comes close to comparing with TruFusion with its extensive class offerings, motivating instructors who made classes so fun that I got hooked on them, and pristine facilities. However, I'm happy that the Walnut Creek location exists to fill the void. While it's not as convenient as the SF location was since I have to commute from the city, I'm still super grateful and know it's so worth it. My first time taking a class at the Walnut Creek studio, I arrived after my class started due to some traffic slowdowns. I was fully aware of the studio's "no late entry" rule, so I asked if there was anything I could do and explained my situation. The front desk staff were extremely kind and offered to switch me to a different class that hadn't started yet. I ended up taking a hot power vinyasa class, something I hadn't gotten around to at the SF location. I was a little apprehensive, since I don't know the names of all the yoga positions, but I needn't have been concerned. The instructor gave clear instructions at a reasonable pace, and at no point was I confused. I'm so impressed and definitely want to take a vinyasa class again. It looks like, for the foreseeable future, I will be spending my weekend mornings getting my sweat on and feeling the burn at TruFusion Walnut Creek. Can't wait to take more classes!

Their facilities are always clean and I love that three locations have showers. I enjoy attending 5:45 AM and 6:00 AM classes. I really get a total body workout in those classes. I love that Joya offers HOT Bikram in 60min, 75 min, and 90min sessions. I do one of those classes once a week. She scolded us for not checking in properly even though no one was in the building to tell us. She put my friend and I in far apart spots and when we requested to be near each other she huffed. The class itself is a whole lot of fun. Being new to using silks, the instructor explained the movements well and I felt confident in executing new moves. After she felt out the class she even walked us through a more advanced upside down movement. There was one student who was clearly very advanced in aerial yoga/acrobatics so the instructor had him do the majority of the demonstrations.

I began with the 8 class monthly membership pack, just enough to make it to Olivia's 5:30 AM classes twice a week (commuting all the way from SF to do so lol). As I moved back to the East Bay, I bumped it up to the unlimited membership package, and it was the best decision. First off, each and every instructor at CB truly pour their hearts and efforts in every class. The playlists are perfect for the high intensity moves, the stat board/races create a friendly competitive environment (for those who wish to participate), and their uplifting demeanor/hilarious commentary really sets them apart from other cycling studios I've tried prior to this one. Amrita has really taken her time on selecting and bringing in nothing but the best for this studio. Second, the CB community here is sosososo genuine and I am incredibly appreciative to have a group of people in my life who uplift one another in our fitness journeys. Between the front desk CB staff, to the other members of this studio, everyone really makes you feel welcome. Post-class coffee meetups are shared, milestones are always celebrated, they even took the time to set up a surprise mini baby shower for my sister, Jessica... like where can you find a group of people like that!! And that is just to name a few of the things that I've experienced in a short amount of time here. Third, more of a personal observation, is the positive exponential effect Cyclebar Castro Valley has taken on my overall well-being. I've noticed so many lifestyle changes on my day to day mental and physical health, and I couldn't be more excited to keep this momentum going. I am long overdue for writing a review expressing my gratitude for CB, but I am extremely thankful for having Cyclebar Castro Valley nearby that checkmarks all the boxes I look for in a group fitness studio (high intensity, passionate instructors, strong community, cleanliness, a wide range of class times, staff responsiveness, etc.). If you're reading this, indecisive on whether to try out a class, this is your sign to do so! You will not be disappointed.
