I work from home and have young children so Theo made it possible for me to keep my schedule and have an eye on my kids at the same time. He is very professional and you can tell he's a therapist too because we were able to address my motivation during times when I didn't want to exercise. He was able to switch up the exercises to keep me interested and adapting. We did Boot Camps, Circuit training, boxing (great mental release too!), and even did a few of our sessions in the pool because of his background teaching swimming lessons. Unfortunately I no longer live in the area but I would recommend him to anybody looking for a unique fitness experience and is well worth his price. I also heard he works as a senior fitness health specialist and I'm going to have him start working with my mother who is 65 years old when she gets out of physical therapy. Okay, now I'm babbling but I think it's pretty clear what I think of him :) Theo, i'll be contacting you when I come back through the area for another session in the park!

Occasionally when I'm on the road I look for someone to assist me in my my exercise program and came across Theos personal training yelp page. He was able to come to my hotel and Gym for two personalized workouts during the time I was in town. I have a personal trainer back home, and it was great to have Theos psychotherapeutic influence in our training. It felt like a combination of therapy and exercise. I would imagine that he's a great personal trainer to have if you live in the Lafayette or Walnut Creek area and would absolutely recommend him to people who are in town visiting and looking for a trainer. I will definitely have a few more sessions next time I'm in town! Thanks Theo!

The person who runs the place is a horrible human being. My son takes some classes at the center…read morenext door and we have been parking behind the common building for a year ( i was told we could). Bur apparently 2 weeks ago he put his sign on the parking. It would be nice to notify the lady who runs children center in writing so she can notify her clients. The sign is very blurry and hard to see in the dark. He could have left a warning note on the car but instead he chose to tow it leaving me and my 10 yo son stranded without jackets and a wallet on a cold rainy day. On top of it all the tow company stole our identity from a credit card (it was the only charge over the past 2 days and very soon we got a fraud alert). I wouldn't be supposed if this man has a financial gain from involving tow company otherwise I can't see why simple note wouldn't be enough at first.

CC is the best!!! I am not new training but I know that there are still so much to learn. I've…read morelearned soooo much in just a few weeks. Turned out I've done some movements incorrectly that cause past injuries I started with CC a few weeks ago but in such a short time, I can already see the result. He breaks down each exercise and explains things in a way I can understand. I am the type that overthink too much, ask too many questions, and need to watch and rewatch and rewatch every movement before it makes sense to me.. he's so patient despite my never ending questions. Most importantly, he makes it fun! It's never one or two boring movements, it's always something new and every little movement builds up my strength. Some of the things I've learned to do since I started: mace (google it; it doesn't look hard but boy, it's one of the most challenging exercises I'm still struggling with); kick and punch (like for reals), and a bunch of core works I absolutely detested and have slowly learned to like (not love, just like). CC is one of the best decisions I've made in my fitness journey!!

Training with Gabrielle has been such a positive experience. From day one, she really listened to…read moremy concerns, my goals and took the time to understand what I want and need. It never feels generic or rushed everything we do has a purpose. One thing that really stands out is how organized and thoughtful she is. She created a clear, structured day-to-day plan for our sessions and even shared an Excel sheet so I can easily see and track what we're working on. Being able to visualize my progress keeps me motivated and accountable, and it shows how much she genuinely cares about helping me succeed. Her approach is incredible. There's absolutely no pressure or intimidation just steady encouragement, positivity, and motivation. She knows exactly when to push me and when to adjust, which makes every session both productive and enjoyable. We have fun, we laugh, but we also work hard going from lifting heavy to even heavier weights that I never imagined I would be able to do. I feel stronger both physically and mentally. On top of that the studio is not crowded. It's truly one-on-one, and the focus is completely on you. The entire team at Studio Flex is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The environment feels supportive, comfortable, and uplifting, which makes showing up something I genuinely look forward to. I'm so grateful to be training here and would highly recommend Gabrielle and Studio Flex to anyone looking for a supportive, motivating, and results-driven experience.

This review is long overdue. I cannot thank the barre925 studio and community enough for everything…read morethey've given me. I've practiced barre at this amazing studio for many years, but after a serious back surgery, it truly became my haven during recovery and beyond. The owner, teachers, and staff are all phenomenal. They are incredibly talented and create such a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where you can build strength in both body and mind. If you're new to barre, this is an incredibly wonderful place to begin your practice.

I first discovered it during postpartum with my first baby, starting with the Baby Barre classes, and it was the perfect way to gently and confidently reintroduce myself to working out after having a baby. The Baby Barre classes were incredibly flexible, understanding, and judgment-free. There was no stress if your baby cried, and total support if you needed to stop mid-class to tend to your little one. Workouts were thoughtfully modified based on everyone's needs, and the instructor always tailored the class to what she was noticing in the room--if most moms were baby-wearing, we focused on standing exercises; if babies were mostly on the mat, the workout adjusted accordingly. As an added bonus, it was a great opportunity for my baby to practice tummy time while looking at herself in the mirror! Once I returned to work, I transitioned into the regular class offerings and was so happy to find a wide variety--sculpt, strength, barre, and stretch. All of the instructors are genuinely sweet, supportive, and motivating--but don't be fooled, they will definitely work you. The studio is always clean, welcoming, and well-run, and the class offerings are truly incredible. I'm so grateful for this place. It supported me through postpartum, helped me build consistency, and continues to be a space I look forward to coming back to week after week. Highly recommend!
