Avoid HK Motorsports in Hooksett, NH - Worst Experience Ever…read more I had one of the worst customer experiences of my life at HK Motorsports. From start to finish, it was completely unprofessional and frustrating. I was told I could not test drive the vehicle, paid the deposit only to be left waiting three weeks just to have a tire changed. During that time, I received zero communication from them--not a single call or update. Meanwhile, I was told by the manager that he was taking the car out to "get a haircut." Completely disrespectful and unacceptable. When I finally got the car, they didn't offer a helmet or discount on accessories , didn't even thank me for the purchase, and to make it worse, I discovered serious safety issues: Hazard lights didn't work Traction control wasn't even connected This isn't even half of what went wrong. The lack of communication, care, and basic professionalism at HK Motorsports is shocking. I regret ever doing business with them.

Said we have 2 motorcycles to trade and we own them straight out, so paper work would be easy. They sales guy asked what we had and when we told him he said "those aren't bikes we deal with so I'd have to call our wholesale guy". Any chance of a future sale went right out the window. We have NEVER been to a place that didn't take our bikes as trades. And we've had many

I needed a 5000k service, and thought I'd check it out. Troy treated my bike like it was his own, that to me was very important. Their 5000k service included everything from soup to nuts. In other words, more than any dealership. When I got the bill, I told Troy, I asked him if that was correct, as it seemed too low,...as I am an honest person and want to pay my fair share, he said that it was...sold...customer for life! Last winter I left my bike with Troy for another 5,000k service, to have the top end rebuilt, and to install a Ginz sissy bar with brackets and to have the brackets and fender supports powdercoated black. Quite a laundry list of things to do. When the bike was finished, it was mid winter, I told Troy that I wanted to ride it home, he said no problem, come and get it when you want to. There was one day in February when the weather was in the 50's. I told Troy that I wanted to come and pick it up, no problem. I thought that I would have to pay for storage at least while the bike was there, Troy said no. I was very pleased with the job that EVO did, and I could tell that Troy was too, as he told me how everyone in the shop enjoyed looking at the bike when it was finished. As a repeat customer, I want to say that I have been impressed with Troy and the quality service he and his staff at EVO Cycles provide in Derry, NH.

Remember when it used to be that if you bought a bike private sale, it was a risk, but if you…read morebought any bike at a dealer it would be gone through because dealers held themselves to A standard of some sort? The only way that made sense to buy a bike from National was to buy a new Triumph because they had no fees. Of course they would stop selling new triumphs, because being confined to msrp isn't Nationals style! Pretty sure they bought out Second Wind Triumph too, only to bail on the brand, so they really screwed New England. So now all your options are "premium used" which come with just a 90 day warranty and no test ride, but you will pay absolute top dollar. They've always had "opportunity vehicles" which is basically like buying from a stranger on the side of the road. Very vague details, risky purchase, and yet still above NADA very good used condition prices... riddle me that! But now, they also have "mechanic specials" which must be the Rat Bikes from Road Rash and be absolute nightmares. Then they have "salesmen" who are kinda like Walmart greeters, who openly brag about the "steals" they pay for their inventory. Got it, low ball to get the inventory, charge top dollar for what a "dealer" should be putting on their showroom floor in the first place, with a bunch of junk at your own risk. Buying a motorcycle in NH from places like National, Naults and MOMs is almost enough to just quit riding.

The problem started when they called me to tell me my head pipe was cracked and needed to be repaired. I found that odd since they were the only ones that have ever touched the head pipe, but they claimed it wasn't them and it can happen just from riding. I was a little dubious of that claim, but wasn't going to push the issue over $75. The real problem I have is the dyno tune. Not only were the numbers substantially lower than comparable numbers I have seen on NUMEROUS other bikes with the same exact components, but the bike was very choppy when it ran. I sent the map to several other tuners to get their opinion on the matter and they all laughed at how poor a map it was. I then asked Brandon, the tuner from R&R for the run files and could see from the date/time stamps that it took him less than 28 minutes to "tune" my bike. Additionally, the base map he used was the modified stock tune that anyone could download off the Dynojet website. After seeing all of this and listening to several tuners saying they wouldn't trust whomever did that to fix his own mistakes, I called Reggie Jr the owner to voice my displeasure. Reggie stood by his employee and got somewhat aggressive about it over the phone saying that Brandon was the best tuner on the East Coast and ALLLL those other tuners didn't know what they were talking about. His "solution" was to challenge me to bring the bike back and have me watch Brandon tune it myself to ensure he did it up to my standards. When I explained to him that I no longer trusted them to do a adequate job on my bike and all I wanted was my money back, Reggie laughed and explained there was no way I was ever getting my money back. So lesson learned I suppose - I will never send any business his way.
