These guys really saved me from a terrible Groupon experience. I originally purchased moss removal from another vendor through Groupon specifically for a 2 story home. I didn't schedule my original appointment right away, because I had no reason in my mind to worry that there would be an issue. Turns out that the first vendor was afraid to climb a ladder to work on a two story house, and only services homes with internal access to the roof. I had never heard of such a thing! He actually acted like he was surprised that I was surprised when he said he wouldn't do it because "he enjoys living". Hey I get it dude, I don't really like climbing ladders and getting on my roof either (which is why I pay someone with expertise to do it), but I don't offer it as a service as part of my profession, lol. I called CWAGS and he was very responsive. He had a good laugh about the first vendor's response, saying he'd never heard of that either. Anyway, they offered the same service for the same price, with an upcharge for the pitch of the roof. I had no problem with that. Was hoping to get a refund from Groupon to deal with them directly, but could only get a credit because I waited more than 3 days because the first guy wouldn't climb a ladder. They honored everything with the Groupon voucher, even though Groupon takes a pretty big cut. Great communication throughout the process. Appointment was made within a week and a friendly crew showed up today and knocked it out in a few hours. Least I can do is give them a top notch review. read more

We used Josh and his team for many years. Each time pleased with his response time and warranty of work. But something changed this last year. They came out and applied moss treatment with the usual guaranty. Except this time when I sent photos showing the moss was still there two months later, he scheduled me for retreatment but no one showed up. Then crickets! No response from Josh after several text, voice messages and emails to see if he needed to reschedule. I've been using CWAG for years and had them out in January. What used to be the same crew wound up being a group of clearly inexperienced roof and gutter cleaners. They sprayed filth from the roof and gutters all over my house and deck causing me to spend several hours cleaning up the clean up. When contacted Josh apologized but made no meaningful offer to compensate me. I have no idea what is going on with this company but I'll never use them again. Beware. read more

This is a curious company. The Sales people who you contact by phone to bid a job will tell you that they have package deals only. A package deal is Windows cleaned, Gutters cleaned and Siding cleaned for under $600. Now that's a very low price for a huge two story 5 bedroom house with over 30 large windows. I told the salesman at Cwags that I did not want my gutters cleaned. He parried back that it was a package deal take it or leave it. I accepted the deal. The two workers who showed up were much more reasonable. I told them I didn't want the gutters cleaned. They agreed that the gutters didn't need cleaning. I pointed out what I wanted and they followed my directions. They did good fast work and the price was under $600 so I was a happy camper. But be forewarned that Cwags divides its work into two section: Soft Wash and Power Wash. If you ask for moss removal from siding, they will schedule you for soft wash. This is two workers armed with long handled scrub brushes, and soapy water. There is no power washer on their truck. If you order a power wash, you need to specify if it's for flat work like driveways or vertical work like walls. And don't expect them to scrub anything. CWAGS gets the job done, but you need to be very specific about what you want done and ignore the salesman who says it isn't possible. read more

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!! Based on the reviews I had read, I hired C-Wags, LLC in August 2019 to clean and treat my concrete tile roof. 5 months later I discovered a major roof leak causing $4700 of damage to my home. Upon further inspection I found the roof covered in moss and weeds growing on my roof. There were several cracked tiles and a broken tile resting against the gutter which could not be seen unless you were on the roof. After closely inspecting the before and after pictures I had received via email from C-wags, LLC at the completion of the work, I noticed the same broken tile that was resting against my gutter. The broken tile was NOT in the before pictures that C-wags, LLC took or the ones I had taken that morning prior to the job being started. I contacted Josh Burt 1/10/2020 and explained what I had discovered only to have him get very defensive and tell me that the tiles were already broken and they took the pictures to show me that. I asked if that was in fact the case, why wouldn't they show that in the before pictures and let me know I had a giant hole in my roof so I could have it repaired, before it filled my attic with water. He suggested the pictures he sent did that. I then informed him that I had my own before pictures from that morning that show there were no broken tiles and I was giving him an opportunity to make this right. Mr. Burt quickly changed his tone and informed me that he also owned a remodeling company and could likely repair all the damage caused. Mr. Burt then said that he would adjust his schedule and give me a call back, so he could come out that afternoon to take a look. I followed up with Mr. Burt 1/13/2020 as I had not heard from him again and informed him if I did not hear from him by 5 p.m. that day I would be turning it over to my insurance company. To date I have not heard from Mr. Burt or anyone at C-Wags, LLC. I am completely stunned at the amount of positive reviews C-Wags, LLC has received and would not recommend using them for anything as I would hate to see someone else's home damaged by this business. My home has a tile roof in an area surrounded by Fir Trees, so I need regular Moss removal, treatment and gutter cleanings. I got a very reasonable quote over the phone because they can use online imagery to: "Remove moss and debris from the roof by hand or backpack blower. Apply moss treatment to the roof after cleaning it off. Clean the gutters of moss and debris. Check the downspouts for clogs. Remove any clogs that are in the downspouts." They put me on the calendar in two business days, did the work extremely well AND cleaned up all the moss and debris. I requested a skylight cleaning and minor repair to be added that to the job. Scheduled service in May for gutter cleaning and moss treatment. They supposedly apply moss treatment that kills it- they do not actually remove the moss. So I waited to see if the moss would die off. Their website claims 12 months guarantee for moss removal. Come October the roof is all green. I reached out and they said they would come. Got scheduled. No one shows up. He says the winds were an issue and schedule is again. Again a no show and no mention of a reschedule. I reach out again, nothing. Reach out again and apparently being scheduled does not actually mean you have an appt especially if you are not an actively paying service (thought the first service did squat). I just want what I paid for. If this was not an advertised guarantee, I would just think I was out the money and never use this company again. Moises Did a good job cleaning the roof and gutters. But when it came to the price of the project it was totally out of hand. I got a Groupon for discount and for the thousand square-foot home and 400 square-foot garage it came to $500 after the discount. On the Groupon when I purchased it it said that it paid for the house which I'm assuming an average size house is about 1500 square-foot and that was supposed to be $320. These guys are great !!! They professionally cleaned my gutters. Took pictures of each of them to validate their cleaning. Then I found out, I had a backyard downspout that was clogged. I could not tell you how they clean windows because they came out , quoted and I agreed - we set a date and time and left. Come the day I took work off early and 20 minutes after the appointment time I asked if they were still coming via message. No reply... Finally 4 hours late the window washer shows up..... It's now after 7pm and he wants to start .... A lot of excuses but we said we asked to reschedule. I sent email asked if the following week would be good... This time no reply and the this is the best I GOT A 200.00 bill for work that was never done I sent again another email saying what the heck is this. Got a shady email and the excuse again! So disappointed in this company. They cleaned the moss off our roof last year and told us if any moss reappeared in less than 12 months they would come back out and treat. Sounds good right? We must have made at least 8 calls to them plus 3 emails and they never respond. We got through once and they promised to call back. My husbands phone rang twice the following day and stopped. Very happy that they served our area AND that the company had liability insurance. Originally scheduled a few weeks prior, but unexpected weather prohibited the crew from being able to do the job, understandably. After a couple reschedules with a little bit of gaps in communication, the crew came early (even on a lightly raining day), were professional and got the job done right with before & after photos of my gutters (though I had to request them to be sent). Some roof debris was inadvertently left on the deck by the crew, but saw it after they left and it wasn't a huge deal....We're 20 minutes outside the center of town, so I didn't bother to ask them to come back. I had some power washing done (moss on sidewalks and driveway) last August (2017). The crew showed up on time, worked hard and did a thorough job. Estimate was accurate. But the promise of "Before and After" photos never happened even after I said I'd recommend them for more work with my landlord who was about to sell our house. I emailed and called several times and got responses that they were looking for the photos but they never followed through. I saw the guys taking the photos so I know they existed but I never received them. I think I would rate them higher if they had just admitted they lost them and stopped leaving me messages that they were "all over it". The estimator and the service people were all very personable and friendly. The owner was very responsive until I paid him and then could not reach him. They were four hours later than originally scheduled, but did call several times to let me know. They were hired to clean the outside of the windows and clean out the gutters. The windows were mostly clean (to be fair, we just bought the house and I'm not sure when they were last cleaned). There were some areas that showed up later as not too clean. They also tore one of the screens and failed to notify me of the damage. I could have lived with this, but I was charged for cleaning both inside and outside of the windows. Further, I discovered that when the gutters were cleaned, the debris was dumped in a pile in our yard. It was a rather secluded area, so I didn't discover it until a few days later. read more

We hired C WAGS to clean the mildew off our gutters, the vinyl siding under the eaves and clean our vinyl awning over our deck. The lead, Josh, was very friendly when he came for the estimate and we decided to go with them. When the crew came out, they climbed on top of our awning, damaging it and the lights. This was in June 2016. Josh promised they would take care of it and we were agreeable, knowing that mistakes happen and as long as they fixed what they damaged, that was great. After 3-4 months of asking for updates, they finally replaced the vinyl panels, telling us the lights hadn't come in yet. It's now been another 1-2 months (it's Nov 2016) and we STILL are getting no where with the completion of the job to repair the damage the crew did. They even painted our next door neighbor's house and no one came by to give us an update on the status or check the work, which wasn't conforming with what we had prior to their team damaging the awning.
