That makes no sense to me because they have list so much in sales from under stocking. I don't know if it is that they aren't in the profit range or just not well managed. This used to be my favorite CVS because it is close to home, but I'll be going further afar from now on or maybe on to RiteAid. The problem is you get a lot of great discounts for using the CVS APP for purchases. I'm hoping whatever the problem is they can rectify it.

I'm left with no medication and no answers. Extremely poor service and communication. Very disappointed and frustrated.

We went to the pharmacy in person, gave them an insurance card. We found out they to do take Anthem Blue cross which was new for my daughter. She still was also still covered through family medical. They then said they could not use her family medical because that was a secondary insurance and we would have to go somewhere else or pay out of pocket. We choose to go to a location that took Blue Cross. They promised they would transfer all the medication for us. Once the pharmacy called for them. They did transfer 2 out of 3. I came to pick up the prescription for my daughter today only to find out that they will no longer fill this prescription because the insurance benefit puts the pharmacy at a loss rather than a financial gain. This particular pharmacy has come highly recommended by the provider and sends quite a bit of business their way. I was further told that this $16 loss is not sustainable to their business. When I advised the pharmacist that the provider sends a lot of business there. I was met with crickets. It was very discouraging to hear that my daughter could potentially bankrupt the pharmacy over $16. Clearly the pharmacy is not in business to take care of patients but more worried about their bottom line. I think there many happy 5 star reviews will keep them operating in the black.

They have the best customer service. All through the years of going here, they saw our little family grow and they have treated us like their own family. They know my daughter so well, that they never failed to ask how she is or talk to her when she's with us. One thing that I like about this pharmacy is their awesome diaper rash cream when my little one was in diapers. This cream is a special mixture that is gentle for babies and at the same time a wonder rash cream. So if you have a baby with rash issues, try them, it definitely works!!! Pharmacist Serena Kim and her pharmacy staff our the best, most friendly, and fast service around! Even when they are very busy with a long line like they were today; they still manage with great teamwork, to get each customer in and out. At the same time, give each individual a caring helpful smile and time to make sure their Pharmacy needs are fulfilled and they leave with a grateful joyful heart. I have had many amazing experiences at this CVS on Niles and Fairfax in Bakersfield, Ca. The Pharmacist Serena is always helpful and very professional as well as all the other staff. Serena always greets customers with a smile and always extends herself to us. This time she helped me find an over the counter medicine for my mother. I have come here a few times to pick up medication for someone else and they have always filled the prescription quickly and in a timely manner. What I like about this place is that their drinks and their snacks are really cheap. I like that they don't overcharge since they are the only pharmacy from walking distance from me. You'd be surprised, but they have tons of snacks and surprisingly.... they sell my favorite candy here (Kinder Bueno); which is a London candy bar that I can only find at international stores and now here. Staff is always really nice and very professional. I read other reviews and they had bad experiences here, which was really surprising to me as I have never had a bad experience when I come in. They are even open on Saturday's which is a plus for working people. I do have to say that I came in once to ask if they sold hearing aid batteries as my oldest son is deaf and needed batteries for his aids and they didn't sell it here. That's the only downside from my end.

I come to this store at least 3-4 times a week for gas and snacks, but this visit was very disappointing. The cashier, Mayra, was rude, unwelcoming, and acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. While I was waiting in line, a man came into the store with a pit bull that didn't appear to be under proper control. I was next in line before he walked in, but he was helped first. When it was finally my turn, the dog had moved closer to the counter. I politely told the cashier I didn't want to walk up because I have PTSD and a severe fear of pit bulls after being attacked by one years ago. Instead of showing any understanding, she rolled her eyes at me and acted annoyed. This wasn't about disliking dogs--it was about feeling safe and being treated with respect. A little kindness and empathy would have gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed and dismissed. I work long 12-hour shifts in customer service myself, so I understand that work can be stressful. Even so, I believe every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect. Sadly, because of this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
