The ladies working in the pharmacy were extremely nice and very helpful. They were able to get me what I needed.

A few weeks ago. I give this pharmacy Zero stars! My son and my wife were both sick. I had my son in the back seat while trying to take him doc while picking meds for my wife. The pharmacy lady told the lady in the drive through to wait. She waited 45 mins in the drive through and caused a traffic jam, her meds were not ready while mine were ready. Then I told lady in the drive through if can she go inside instead and wait. she snapped at me for no reasons, I finally left and had to come the next day to pick up the meds. read more

Loved the help & customer service I just received. The cashier knew exactly where to find the product I needed. Saved me tons of time.

The worker was nice but the manager wasn't as nice. They got my pick up order wrong and proceeded to tell me there wasn't a way to return it etc. The associate tried to help me but ultimately brought in the manager. I just wanted to return the item since it wasn't what i had paid for. (I had paid for a rapid covid+Flu test, and they gave me just the rapid covid test) After about 20 minutes of going back and forth, they finally found the item i originally paid. The manager just put it on the counter and shoved it towards me without a simple apology for this mix up. I had asked where she found it because i went to the pharmacy with the worker to find what i had originally paid for and there was none, but she ignored me and called out for the next customer. I work in retail and a situation like this shouldn't have happened. If you accept and complete a pick up, it should be with the correct item. I am more upset about how much time was wasted and how the manager handled it. If i could, i would give this location zero stars. read more

There is a reason why there never a line here. People don't want to die so they go elsewhere. The number of issues I've had with refilling continuing prescriptions which I have to take for life has been ridiculous. I've been given the wrong prescription on more than one occasion. Someone else is twice. Customer service is nonexistent. Every language barrier you could imagine. I had all of my prescription switched to a local Walgreens and has been smooth ever since. read more

Having to drive from out of town to come and fill a prescription here because it's the only pharmacy that has the medication in the whole area. In my car with my small, sick child, hand over the paper prescription, an individual takes down the info and tells me 2 hours. I come back after 2.5 hours and they never filed the prescription and then they have the nerve to tell me I have to wait another 30 min for them to fill the prescription!? I asked for the pharmacist or manager to come and explain, and they brushed me off and told me to come back if I want the prescription. The epitome of poor management and lack of accountability. How about some empathy and admitting you were wrong, instead of blatant nonchalance. read more

They ignore you when you walk in, and then to do something as simple as updating insurance (even though there are only two people working), they won't help you unless you stand in a different spot. I've decided to stop giving my money to companies out of convenience. If you can't show even a modicum of respect for your customers, you don't deserve the business. I'm surprised by the 5 star reviews and understand the 1 star reviews. Check around--they average less than 2 stars on a lot of sites. This pharmacy sucks and way before covid. They don't answer the phone and have gotten my prescription wrong on multiple occasions. This was the final straw (I'm crazy to even last this long with them). I received text messages telling me my two prescriptions were ready. I had them delivered. Paid for them. Money was deducted from my account and they send me an email confirming my two prescriptions (which they had listed) were delivered. Only one arrived. I called CVS and was told they never filled the second prescription and I should call my bank. This place deserves 0 stars and really should be reported. They make a lot of errors with medicine. I'm at a loss for the one star review written by the previous reviewer. A CVS is a CVS and they are the same everywhere. I have used their pharmacy for years and never experienced any unusual wait or unhelpful staff. Actually quite the opposite occurred for me when I had some prescription program issues for a non-generic prescription. The pharmacist there actually spent a half an hour on the phone with my insurance people trying to work things out. Biggest Plus: This is one of the few locations that actually has a drive-thru pharmacy. read more

This pharmacy is slow to help people, whether over the phone or to attend you at the counter. They're understaffed and you can feel ignored. I've experienced long drive-thru lines before as well. They're also more expensive. I gave 2 stars only because they do give the correct meds to us. I'm about to take my business to Walmart or Giant, and I would advise others to do the same. read more

Pharmacist extremely unprofessional he was not well versed in customer service. There was two people in line I was number two waiting to drop off prescriptions the pharmacist was having a personal conversation with the lady that was at the desk rather than he say I'll be a few minutes or I'll find someone who can help you or cease the conversation with the lady take care of us and then return to her he continue the conversation it wasn't until I had to speak very loudly and say are you having a personal conversation while we're standing here in line that got his attention. He found someone to help us as he continued to have this conversation with the lady. Customer service is number one on my list so they lost me as a customer I'm going to go up the street which is about maybe five miles to see if that CVS is able to be attentive to their customers. read more

2 stars only because they carry the prescriptions I need and I'm sensitive on brands. It's incredible to fathom, but somehow I think the pharmacy has even gotten worse in the last few months. The last 2 refills my doctor has sent over, after 3 days I'll call to check if it's ready and the automated messaging system will tell me it's currently being processed. After 3 days?!? So then I have to subject myself to waiting a ridiculously long time on the phone to talk to one of their pharmacists, which at least half of them are pretty curt. All in all, just a miserable process to get a simple prescription refill. I seriously dread it every time. read more

Currently, the service provided by the pharmacy is acceptable. However, until recently this location was staffed mostly by unkind, unsympathetic, almost hostile staff with frequent turnover. That has been the reality for many years. One aspect has not changed.and that is the pricing throughout the store. Comparison pricing consistently reveals that an identical item, even when the price is reduced, is priced much higher than at other stores. I am on hold for far too long (I usually hangup after 15 minutes) to speak to the Pharmacy concerning my medications. I have been with this Pharmacy for six months and so far my experience has been very disappointing. I don't blame the staff but the management and the cumbersome automated phone system have completely shattered the consumer focus that I believe CVS Corporate hopes to maintain. I'm frankly shocked that a major corporation like CVS would not see the poor performance of this store and the Pharmacy in particular. I would definitely recommend choosing another Pharmacy if you are not yet associated with CVS Touchstone Circle. Sorry to have to be so blunt but you have to call it like it is. My daughter is on pancreatic enzymes by Abbvie called Creon. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic condition requiring daily therapies and extensive medication. (See www.cff.org). This particular CVS, has improperly filled her Enzymes twice. I called to speak with the pharmacy manager, (Addy E). CVS wouldn't tell me the last name of a person in charge of life saving medications. When I called the first time, I was told he was giving a covid test and he would call back in 20 minutes. 3.5 Hours later, I called back and was told by the pharmacist, Francis, that he wasn't working that day and wouldn't be on duty the folowing day. I was given the generic 1800 SHOPCVS number to call to get the issue corrected. This, life sustaining medication is only ENZYMES and has no dependancy potential. Exhausted with not reciving satisfactory progress, I called CVS corporate, i spoke with a "call taker" who spent the first several minutes, before asking anything about the reason for my call verifying my identity. She allowed me to provide the full information about the problem. She then, without asking what the medication was (for my 6 year old) told me that they didn't fill it correctly because it had methamphetamine in it. I was floored... This girl had no idea what she was speaking about. Her uninformed assumtion that I am opiate shopping is dangerous. She is ill qualified to even be taking calls let alone providing information about medicaton. Oh and did I mention that this is ONLY enzymes. After that exhausting call, 31 minutes into my call with corporate, I am connected with someone who is with the pharmacy department. This gentleman, took the information, and escalated it to another department and said they would call me back in the next 24 hours. By far the WORST pharmacy in the area! Restroom facilities are beyond reproach & should be deemed unusable for any human being. As for the actual pharmacy I have NEVER once just been able to pick up a simple prescription for myself or my children without lots & lots of mental havoc & anguish. My son has chronic health issues & Sadly his insurance only works with CVS so each and every month it is like pulling teeth to get any of his medications. If I could leave NO stars I would most definitely. WHOEVER thought it was okay to give me a prescription for my 9 month old that wasn't even FILLED! Pissed isn't even the word. To have no care in the world to give me something that possibly couldn't have been my daughters just scares me. SMH. I am definitely going to contact corporate because I am beyond UPSET! Nothing has changed with Touchstone Circle CVS in fact it's gotten worse. They don't have permanent pharmacy staff so everyone is a floater. Sometimes you will get someone who is super sweet and helpful and other times you barely get acknowledged. They stay backed up and I don't mean a few hours or a day or two. I'm talking a week plus. I've received text messages that my prescription is ready and then I get there and I'm told it's out of stock AND they don't know when the truck is coming in with the shipment. I've also been called to pickup prescriptions that have been filled and have been sitting there ready for pickup and they weren't even for me.... now that's scary! read more

I went in on a Friday for a sale that started on Sunday for all cvs brands, which was suppose to be automatically deducted when rang up, but the discount given was significantly less than advertised! Fortunately I always checked my receipt, so went back and got proper discount, but it was a hassle! I called the manager the next day to see if they had been not giving proper discounts all week, but she Yelled at me and was very Rude!! So spoke to area supervisor and district manager later, but they never admitted any problem!!! Buyer beware - there is a culture at cvs of downplaying any problem. So I avoid their stores, and would advise anyone to go there at risk of paying too much and/or being treated poorly. read more

If I could give this pharmacy negative stars I would. I've visited this location on multiple occasions at varying times of day. So the bad service I've received during those visits can not be attributed to certain staff members or busy periods. I'll limit this post to the top 3. Bad experience #1: Came here after a visit to the urgent care. My prescription had been called in while I was at the urgent care facility so I knew they'd received the order. When I arrived I walked to the pharmacy counter and waited quietly. The young lady on the phone said she would be with me in just a second. No problem! I sat quietly in the chairs and waited for 9 minutes (I counted). Now normally I wouldn't mind this wait at all. However, I was sitting there listening to her bump her gums on the phone and giggle about an incident that happened earlier and what she and a gentleman friend did that weekend. About 9:49 into my wait I got up and said excuse me, perhaps somewhat sternly, because she said, "Alright I gotta go. Somebody's here girl." She then plastered a fake smile on her face and said "Sorry, I was talking to my manager." No you weren't. After I gave her the information to look my script up she then informed me that it hadn't been filled yet. Could that be because you were on the phone talking about what you and Andre did after the movies rather than filling my script? She said she would fill in in 15 minutes. At this point it'd been 45 minutes since the script was called in. Perfect. I'll sit here and wait for it. Now I don't know what got her moving, my glaring stares or the sporadic hacking I was serving, but she immediately filled the script and I was gone within 3 minutes. Bad experience #2: Came in to grab a few random items. Hopped in line and made my way to the register. All is clear and this will be a smooth in and out visit right? WRONG! I paid for my few items with a $50. So I had a good $40 worth of change. When I reached for the clerk to place it in my hand instead of giving me change he gives me his hand. Ehhhhh WHA?! Then launches into a campaign about how this is his part-time job, and he really "gets money", I should give him a chance and let him take me out, and even though I have a boyfriend I should give him a chance, "I'm to sexy to be running errands alone." Sir, that's quite alright I've made it this many years running errands alone I can assure you I don't need a seeing eye dog, or man, to get me through these treacherous Lake Ridge streets. We continued this exchange for a little while longer until I finally just cracked and said "GIMME MY DAMN CHANGE!" He leaned back a bit and said, "Damn girl." Then handed me my change and I left. Bad experience #3: Christmas Eve 2014. I wanted to print a picture for my parents gift. The machine that receives your media wasn't working. After a few minutes of frustration thinking I could miraculously fix this thing the manager emerged from some random door with a small two way mirror window. When I tried to grab his attention he walked past me, gave a quick glance, but no acknowledgement, and stood behind the counter. This prompted everyone to stare at me like, "Is she going to go off?" No, I'm not. I have some home training. He stood behind the counter telling the cashier to hurry up, but offering no assistance. I recognized her as the normal photo assistant, but didn't bother her since she was looking frazzled by the 20 people in line growing impatient. She gave me a sympathetic look and kept checking people out. As the manager came from behind the counter I made eye contact but he just said, "Oh I am new. I don't know how to work that machine," then kept walking back to the little room he had himself locked away in. Now this I knew to be a lie. Mainly because I've been frequenting that CVS for at least two years and he's been the manager for quite some time. Once the young lady finished checking folks out she attempted to help me but found the machine's WiFi was down and suggested I go home, place the order online and come back in an hour to pick them up. I left, submitted my order, called to confirm they received the order, and waited the hour, it was now 10:00 pm on Christmas eve (I'll pause here to take ownership of my bad decision to wait till the last minute to get this done!). I head back up to CVS walk in and speak to the new clerk on duty who hesitantly explained to me that the printing machine was now down and he couldn't call to let me know because I didn't have a 703 phone number. Funny, because I've received calls, personal and autodial, in the past from the pharmacy and photo department and I'm still getting calls to come pick the order up now. My look must have hinted to him that I was on the edge, he simply replied, "You know Walgreens is up the street?" If you've made it this far thanks for sticking with me! read more

Terrible pharmacy. I always hated coming here. My wife dropped of her script at 330 pm and said it would be ready after 7. So I show up at the drive through and instead of having the person in front of us come back in a few the just have them sit there. Now there is two other people in line 20 min later still sitting here. If I went to Walgreens this would not have happened. Now I'm in side and it is still a line with a long wait. Absolutely stupid. Next time I'm going to insist my wife goes to Walgreens. Now I finally get up to pick up the script for my very sick wife has to wait even longer. The absolutely worst pharmacy I have ever used in my entire life. I know people think it's CVS and they are all the same, but that is the furtherest from the truth. We pick up medication at least every 90 days for my husband, on this day he unfortunately didn't realize that his prescription had run out. We did our due diligence and contacted the doctors office to get the rx. filled, but when I called CVS @ Touchstone Cir. of course to my surprise "they don't have it and will take care of it tomorrow." This is normal for this location, they are always telling us that they don't have his medications in stock, and do you think they bothered to call us and tell us this, no I had to call and confirm that they received the order, and at that point I'm informed that they don't have my husband's medication. I'm pretty tolerant when it comes to retail, customer service is horrible everywhere these days, but honestly it's NEVERENDING at this store. I have watched their pharmacy techs be dismissive, bothered, and lack compassion for a very long time. They need NEW MANAGEMENT, NEW PHARMACIST, NEW STAFF, CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING REGULARLY, and an understanding that they work somewhere that they are going to encounter very sick people. Displays are crowded and not very organized, facilities are unclean. Staff (Pharmacy) varies. Some are very helpful and go out of their way to assist the customers. Others seemed inconvenienced by customers and are not willing to look in depth or verify prescription orders (e.g. with physician, insurance, etc.). We have to use them because our medical planned switch from Walgreens. But their customer service and presentation is far below that of Walgreens. read more

I choose this CVS primarily because it is not as busy as the others in the area. I ordered photos online and when sent a confirmation, I went to pick them up on break, the next day (not the same day...the next-ordered @5 pm day 1...pick up 12 pm day 2). When I arrived the older woman could not find my photos, and requested help from a supervisor. When the supervisor (the young girl with glasses) came to the front and could not find my prints either, she told me I should have called first, and they don't have a photo specialist, and "I'm the only one here" so I needed to wait. I have worked many a customer service jobs, and never in my life have I seen a supervisor of all people look at a customer and say something like that. The elderly woman went on break immediately, and left the supervisor at the front, I was then ignored until other customers were helped, and then again scolded for not writing down my order # from the email...pretty sure you can look them up by name. Again after waiting one of my photos did not even print and when I seemed slightly upset again the supervisor said she was the only one there...by the way I am the most patient person alive...this is all happening over the span of 1 hour and about 10 minutes. The supervisor finally printed my photos, didn't used gloves, didn't give me a photo envelope, she just put them in the bag. Also did I mention when she couldn't print one of my photos, she just told me to go home and resubmit it (God only knows when that photo would ever be printed). What was supposed to be a 15 minute trip, turned into a ridiculous nearly hour and a half terrible experience. Other customers were literally telling her to take me because I was there first and she claimed "She's just waiting on photos". Truly ridiculous, and not only do I have years of customer service experience...I used to work at a CVS. I will be going to that store and speaking with a manager tomorrow. read more
