It feels like a throwback to the small-town pharmacy service I grew up with in Arkansas--friendly, human, and refreshingly unpretentious. In a town where many people seem perpetually in a hurry or slightly above interacting with strangers, Sam is a genuine delight. She's the kind of employee who makes a chain pharmacy feel personal, and that's no small feat. Despite picking up prescriptions weekly for three different people, I rarely run into issues. Everything is usually ready when it should be, and any hiccups are handled without drama. The store is clean, well lit, and organized, even when it's crowded and chaotic. All things considered, this CVS does its job well--and Sam elevates it from "fine" to "worth coming back to." I don't see any reason to switch pharmacies anytime soon.

I was hoping Green Street would take the time to hear me out and try to help me solve my problem with getting a prescription filled that was gluten free. My 82 year old mother stopped in there the other day to order a new cane. The owner asked her if there's a reason she felt her existing cane was no longer viable. She showed him how the rubber bottom had warn out. He told her there was absolutely no reason to spend money on a new cane, and comes out with a brand new rubber tap, and attached it securely and had her take it for a test walk through the store. His genuine concern and honesty took my mother back to the type of service you used to see many years ago, when a store owner wouldn't think twice to try to save their customer money, and bend over backwards to meet your needs. They can handle filling or ordering any item that the larger chain stores pharmacy's can, but you will ALWAYS get that phone call to let you know your order is ready, and you will ALWAYS be treated with the utmost respect. You will NEVER feel like you are inconveniencing them, or feel like you're getting the backlash from someone's bad day! Their impecable service should be the Industry Standard.

I called and they said they'd have it done in half an hour, but when I went in not only wasn't it ready, but they refused to even deal with it because of their afternoon break. Calls to the pharmacy take up to an hour to be answered. The line for the pharmacy can be up to 30 people, with only 1 person helping customers. I don't know why CVS wants this pharmacy to fail so badly. It's sad that they aren't willing to pay for a couple of extra people in the pharmacy, and would rather have customers leave them.

Then told me even though my appointment was at 10 he couldn't get to me until 10:20 at the earliest. The store was empty, drive thru was empty, yet he couldn't take me when my appointment was? I told him forget it. Walked over to CVS in Target and got the shot all in the time it would have taken me to wait. Like I said this is a few of many, many issues I have had at this store over the past 5 years. There are too many other locations to go to, to have to go to this one.
