We recently lost our RiteAid near our town so this became the only corporate pharmacy in the area, a half hour away. Not to say we don't have excellent local pharmacies in our town, but sometimes you need a corporate store for such things as immunizations, which was my case in this instance. The check in process was uneventful and fast. I had made the appointment and paperwork online several days ago and the reception was fast. The inoculations specialist, Ian, was courteous and very efficient. I had my booster before I knew it. The rest of the store is fine. Well stocked, very good variety. Excellent wine section too, with many of the lesser priced items on the shelves. Of course, I'm not coming to CVS for a Chateau Latour, but if I'm having a cookout with a bunch of people, this will do. As in the old Rite Aid, they have BOGO on many of the vitamins. This pharmacy has the most convoluted computerized system one must navigate to do something as simple as picking up a prescription. To make it worse, most of the sales people sit by and announce they cannot help you until you correctly fill out the computer screens. They have not connected the notion of helping customers with service. And to top it off, there are unending phone calls with synthesized voices telling you to come down and pick up or order a script. They are the worst. The woman who often is at the drive thru is the exception. She is friendly, helpful and competent. Too bad Rite Aid left town. read more

I never really anticipated that I'd ever be writing a review on a CVS. However, Dorothy from this location is AMAZING! The store was super busy when I visited last weekend, and she still took time from all that she was doing (it looked like she was holding down the fort alone) to greet each customer and let them know that she would be right with us all (i.e. she had to pop back in forth to the self-checkout to help a customer and then come back to me in line--all by herself!) Dorothy was just so kind, polite, and attentive to every single customer in the store. I have no idea how she does it all - and with a smile on her face! Because of the incompetence of the pharmacy staff at this location, my husband and I just spent 4+ hours at the DMHC emergency room and we'll end up paying thousands of dollars in fees not covered by our insurance. I am more than outraged at how much my husband suffered unnecessarily and can't imagine buying as much as a Band-aid at this place ever again. read more

Just moved up here from northern Virginia- we purchased a resort in the Randolph VT area so we left jobs back in VA. I had Kaiser health insurance for years and even with its flaws found it to be good quality health insurance with all under one roof approach!! Visited Minute Clinic here to pick up a Rx and was about to be charged a different amount than posted on minute clinic website posted $$s!! But the very nice nurse Sandra said to just let them bill me. She wrote enough for a 3 month supply. I than went to the pharmacy to pick up my Rx and they had one month supply in the bag- after explaining again I had just moved up had no health insurance and no dr they redid their work and gave me a three month supply!! The nice pharmacist even gave me a coupon for my hassle towards the Rx. SheriAnne who rang me up was sincere and sweet!!I actually found this CVS nicer with much more pleasant staff than my old one back home!!!! read more

I went online to reorder a medication and placed order on Monday. I went online this morning (Thursday) to see status and one medication is still in process. I tried calling this morning and was on hold for 30 mins before I had to hang up because I had to go back to work. I called again this afternoon and I have been on hold for over an hour and I haven't even spoke to anyone. I am now out of Medication and need this filled today or status. if they cant fill it send it to another CVS that can. very very disappointed. This is not the first time we have had this issue and my husband and I both have spoke to the pharmacy manager and his excuse is that they are very busy. Sir, We are sitting here watching you. You are ignoring the phone and the customer at the desk to have conversations with your technicians. The only reason why we stay with CVS is cause our insurance allows 90 day supply only through them locally. Blows my mind they can not answer a phone. I really don't blame the local CVS staff for the inconvenience that I experienced when I sought to find out yes there were any take home Covid 19 self tests available. I simply called the number, which is a local West Lebanon New Hampshire number, but I was put through the automated response system and then put on hold for quite a long time. It was then that my wife suggested I not remain on the line and simply go to the location of the CVS pharmacy itself. So I did driving about 5 miles only to find out that in fact the CVS was out of stock Of the COVID-19 self tests that I was looking for. When I talked to the point of sale staff They told me that they did not hear the phone ring. So really all I'm asking is that CVS corporate remove the auto answering the phone buffer so that local people can get information without having to travel to the store itself read more

For the last several months I've had to call in to have my prescription filled and every week I'm always on hold for atleast 45 minutes just to tell them to.fill my script to be picked up. I just attempted to confer with the pharmacist (?) on duty today, Saturday 11/09. She apparently was busy, which I politely acknowledged, but I do not consider that to be an excuse for rudeness. She refused to acknowledge me when I spoke. I had to repeatedly keep asking if she was still there. She wouldn't give me her name, answer my questions or in any way assist me. I requested that she leave a message for the pharmacy manager, Gregg, and she at first refused to do so. Whether or not she ever did, I have no way of knowing. read more

Minute Clinic in the CVS Lebanon, NH: Very, very bad. Wrong diagnosis, wrong treatment (which did not work) for a $100.00 prescription cream not covered by insurance. Conflict of interest? Check. Poor care? Check. CVS customer service had absolutely NO interest in hearing a complaint many months later after going to a real doctor. In fact, the person I spoke with said they had no way of knowing that the condition that was successfully treated by DHC was there when I visited Minute Clinic. Wow. Shocking. I went in on Saturday to have one of my sleep meds transferred to their store and refilled. Because it is a controlled substance, they have to call my home pharmacy in SC to ensure that it is a valid prescription. I've done this several times while traveling and have never encountered a problem with this process. On Sunday I checked the status, the pharmacist said they would have to verify the script with my doctor. I suggested that since my doctor's office is closed on Sunday, wouldn't my home pharmacy's records satisfy verification of my having been prescribed this med for well more than 3 years. Monday afternoon I went in to pick up the script and they still hadn't contacted my pharmacy or doctor. The CVS pharmacist (a heavyset guy with a close cut goatee) said he still hadn't had the time to make the call and couldn't ensure that he'd be able to get to it today. What? He had been gabbing with the head pharmacist while I was standing in line and 'didn't have the time'? I told the Tech (long haired young man with nose ring) to cancel my order and give me back my empty script bottle which he said had been thrown away. When I asked him for my Rx Number, he said that I would have to call my home pharmacy to get it. This is the worst case of "couldn't care less about the customer" I have ever experienced; and I will NEVER GO TO ANY CVS IN THE FUTURE. Big store. Clean store. Lousy selection of things one expects at CVS. Fair selection of toothpaste, very poor selection of greeting cards, which the staffer blamed on Hallmark, no seasonal necessities but lots of junk no one needs. If you're looking for a lot of stuff you don't need, this is your place. Otherwise, I'd give it a pass. read more

This CVS is slightly better than the Hanover one. Somewhat better selection, but still often out-of-stock of many basics. They have replaced a lot of good basic name-brand items with lower-quality imported store-brand knockoffs. Items are often beat-up and in bad condition (even stuff you really want to be in good shape like pills, bandages, contact lens solutions). Just doesn't seem particularly clean there, seems like they never fully recovered from the big flood a couple years ago. Checkout is inefficient and confused, and employees don't seem to know anything. Haven't used their prescription pharmacy, so can't comment about that. read more
