In the downtown area, many cute, homey, many upmarket types of places. So many cute little stores to visit! TRULY a tourists dream! Haha! Especially if you like these types of stores...stores that have a considerable markup on their items. I imagine rent for these places is very high. However, I found that the prices at this Saratoga Olive Oil Co were NOT that bad. My roommate is a huge on olive oil. We use it in everything we cook. It's like..."omg you guys! So good for you!" So I went in here wanting to get something for him. It's a small place, so it was definitely crowded with the small group of people that were in there. Especially this woman who was sitting on the floor with like 5 kids. No joke. My brother and I were like...WTAF?!? Blocking such a massive part of the store, blocking us and many others from seeing what was on display behind them. We couldn't understand why the employees didn't say something to them. Small store, very crowded, 6 people sprawled out on the floor. What would you do as an employee??? I sure as hell would have been like..."umm, yeah, we are gonna need y'all to legit move. If you wanna chat, please take it outside. The store is too crowded for all...this" Ok, I probably would have been nicer if I worked there and I was certainly being nicer here. If I say what I REALLY wanted to say...Yelp would remove my review hahaha. Seriously, it's not the kids fault. That woman should have known better but chose to stay completely oblivious. We had to leave bc it was too crowded and we couldn't maneuver around them. We had planned to come back too bc I really did want to get a few bottles to ship back here to Idaho. Our time in VT wasn't long. So, alas, we never made it back. That's really the only complaint I'd have about this store. If you see 6 people camped out on the floor, lady showing kids something on her phone....just please ask them to ... moooove lol. I'm sure it was stressing the staff out and they weren't sure how to handle it. I should have been like..."hi! I can see you wanna say something but don't want to offend? I'd sure be glad to help you out!" Hahaha! It's a very nice little store tho. If you go to Burlington, chances are, you will absolutely go in here. If not, try to remember this review if by chance you come across it and pay them a visit. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Of course some things are pricey, but overall, not bad. I hope to return to Burlington some day. Grew up in upstate NY and this was my first time in Vermont haha. Family still in NY, so I know I'll be back to VT. Tried to make this short haha! Hope it's not too long. Check out Saratoga Olive Oil! Especially if you love to cook! Even if you don't and live with someone who does...you'll love this place and their incredible selection!! Thanks for reading, YelpOlivOilers! Cheers!

From the home chef to the foodie to the average cook to feed yourself I think there is something for everyone. This place had probably 45 olive oils and vinegars with so many different flavor options and listed good pairings for all of them. The staff was SO knowledgeable and suggested meals, proteins, and additional pairing for the oils and vinegars. He gave us free samples of everything we were interested in and I would say if you are going to choose I would get a vinegar over an oil. The black cherry balsamic vinegar was maybe the most flavorful things I have ever tasted it is superb and the peach was also wonderful it was so light and sweet for a vinegar and I got both to improve any average meal into something spectacular.

Well, they probably don't have much competition here, but it's a fantastic espresso Cannoli - Freshly filled to order and satisfying Infused olive oils and vinegars - You can walk around and sample everything inside, then purchase whatever size bottle you like. They even have a program where you can return empty, rinsed bottles and fill again with 10% off. There were some interesting flavors and I bought a couple to take home. Overall, this is a great place to visit and if you're into these things. There are also some tables and chairs outside to sit with your gelato or coffee.

I purchased a gift set of Olive Oils for a friend that was curated by staff, and Champagne Olive Oil for myself. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and gave some history on the store as well. I definitely want to try some of the menu items as well! Everything looks and smells amazing in this shop! Yum!

Very spacious inside and, while they do rely a tad too much on the flavored/infused oils for my taste, they do have an excellent selection of quality olive oils. We bought an excellent Chilean Favasola olive oil and a nice, spicy Sicilian Ogliarola, as well as a pomegranate balsamic vinegar. They are quite generous with the free sampling, so you can sample to your hearts content to find the right oil/vinegar pair for you (the bread for dipping was noticeably stale, though) They also recycle bottles and have a discount plan for every 10 bottles you return. There's a small ice cream shop up front which is a bit random but, hey--it's ice cream. It's a nice place, though do think i prefer the service and atmosphere--not to mention the ancillary products such as pastas with recipe pairings/recommendations--at the Saratoga olive oil shop. I asked--they are not associated, but they have the same supplier, so product is substantively the same, if not the shipping experience. But if you have an idea what you want, the quality is there.
