This is a review towards CVs Pharmacy. I went in today and one of the lady's I'm pretty sure it her name was Tran H or something like that was pretty rude I explained to her our situation with some medication and got a rude response back with some shade insisting the target pharmacy was still open since that's where the medication was which yes is agree but I stoped there because we had just done some shopping at nob hill and it was the closest one. After she noticed we weren't going to leave she just gave us our re fill for us to pick up. Somethings I've noticed is that the older people in the pharmacy are so rude and stuck up sometimes unlike the younger ladies working there who are more patient! The pharmacy's customer service needs to improve besides that I've never experienced anything bad from the cvs store itself! read more

I called CVS at 1966 Main st (the UPS inside CVS) at 800-742-5877. No matter what I tried, I couldn't reach a human! The automated system refused to connect me with a representative, and I couldn't get an answer to my question. I had to travel to the branch in person instead of getting help with a quick phone call. I just have to say within the closer from rite aide and my meds being directed elsewhere . I opted for CVS on Main Street and the experience has been a nightmare with the online and phone prescription renewal!!! Along with the service of the employees at the counter ! I received a text that my prescription is available and I can click on the link to get a bar code , so that I can enter a line at the store to pick up my meds ! But when I click on the code . I don't receive it ! The online Cvs.com is worthless and doesn't work !!! When I presented and showed the clerk at the store that their online app wasn't working. She directed me to go wait in the other line and wait behind a huge line for pick up even though I showed her that it wasn't not my issue and it was the app / online issue !!! Another issue is that I tried to renew my prescriptions over the phone after hours and The automated service didn't work! I called eight times and tried different options along with leaving a message to no luck. Only to be hung up on!!! So all in all their Internet website is shit and their automated service is absolutely horrible!!!! Not to mention The poor the Customer Service I have received in the only and last few visits!!! For a pharmacy that's so large and has so many employees compared to Rite Aid that only had three or four employees. At least Rite Aid answered their phone calls and it didn't go to messages!!! Other than the one time frustrating experience, the pharmacy always gets my medications correct and I opted in to get text messages which enables me to get a link to get my prescriptions delivered. I prepay online when my insurance doesn't cover it all. Yes, the pharmacy lines are long and i try to prepare a lot of time when I do go into the store or make sure i have no plans after. However I think all the bad reviews regarding long lines should not be directed at CVS; the U.S. healthcare system is so inefficient, and those are the issues we should be talking about. I am grateful that CVS provides the medications I need when I need them, and i'm sorry that others have not been able to get the prescriptions when they did. read more

At 3pm the line has almost 30 people in line for the pharmacy, 15 in line for regular cashiers, and no additional help being called in.

Every time I've visited the store it has been immaculate. Every member of the staff from the Manager to clerks has been quick to greet me and offer assistance. Most often my primary reason for visiting is to se the Pharmacy. Very occasionally there is a long line but it moves pretty quickly. The Pharmacy Techs are wonderful (polite and efficient). I LOVE the computerized notification system and auto refill system. read more

I'm shocked to see some low ratings. I visit CVS 1966 Main St., Watsonville fairly often to get prescription refills, etc.. My experience there has ALWAYS been superlative!! The store is always immaculate, the Employees are always polite, helpful, knowledgeable, and effecient (sp?). If I could give negative stars I would! my mom is literally dying of cancer and they are giving her a hard time about filling a pain med RX. worst customer service ever then they made her pay out of pocket for these items that her insurance covers and had covered in the past and wouldn't tell us why. this is the worst pharmacy ever. I want to express my disappointment in this CVS. On several occasions, yesterday being the latest; I went to shop at the CVS at Watsonville Square Shopping Center. Again, I went with a list and found several of the shelves either empty or minimum items of a product line. I shopped the hair department, dental, makeup and all items I wanted were not there. This morning my husband told me he stopped by this store to purchase a light bulb and some men's aftershave. Neither items were stocked and the shelves were barren. As much as I prefer to shop in Watsonville, I will not be returning to this store. Either management does not care to stock items or CVS Corporate is not auditing this store. Very disappointing. My friend just got a new big tat on her arm and they suggested she use a particular skin cream to help protect it in its healing process, so off we go here to find it. It's your typical CVS store but this one is particularly wide and spacious. We found the creme and she paid for it. The guy at the cash register was extremely nice and gracious to all the customers. What the hell? This place sucks donkey balls!! Staples was closed down the street and I decided to stop here and see if they had any little monthly planners. I hadn't been in here since they changed ownership and are now CVS/Pharmacy, but man, it's definitely gone down hill. They installed carpet which feels weird in a drug store. I would think carpet would be a pain to clean if liquids are spilled. Wouldn't it be easier to mop up linoleum floors? I don't know, it just feels really cheap, almost like I'm walking into the 99 cent store. Considering Target is their biggest competition, I would have felt they would have kept the old design which was much nicer and tried to make their displays better, but I guess not. I'm srue they have some good deals like Walgreens has, but considering how the store looks now, I don't know if I want to go back. I'd rather just go to Walgreens (and I don't like that store) or Target. I remember the days when this was Payless Drugs. I loved coming here when it was under that company as I used to pick up all my school supplies, cleaning stuff, medications, etc. But then it changed to Rite Aid, Longs and now it's CVS. I'm a bit surprised this space is still occupied, but I guess it's better than it becoming another discount mall. Then again, the chances that will happen are pretty high. read more

Does not honor commitments as to when prescriptions will be ready. EXTREMELY poor service!!!

If I could give them a minus I would. This place is horrible. They robo call to tell you that you have prescription ready. When you call to see if it is ready, you cannot get your call answered. They have duplicated my prescriptions, given me prescriptions that is on my ALLERGIC TO like oxycodone.. Their service STINKS. I am to stay in the house because I have asthma and other problems. This is during the Stay in Place order. I have waited 3 weeks for my inhaler. I get told the DR didn't send. I don't believe it. This excuse gets old after a while. I waited days for a prescription and finally went in and was told it wasn't covered. I called insurance and it was. pharmacist just entered the WRONG number. Terrible terrible. read more

NEVER tell your doctor to send prescriptions to this CVS on Main St.. It's really the WORST pharmacy in Santa Cruz County. The worker bees behind the counter couldn't care less if you're dying or have a serious illness. They continue to mess up prescriptions and my daughter has cancer. I am so annoyed and frustrated. I moved to CVS from Target which was an improvement but still not good. I went in today and the MANAGER OF THE DEPARTMENT is unloading boxes and having the employees help her while me the CUSTOMER is standing there and was not even acknowledged. They do realize there are other places to go. And they were more expensive than Target. I will have to start looking around. They are more convenient but everything in there takes for days. I left I was tired of being ignored. Also just tried for the 3rd time to upload pictures and says they are uploaded but they are gone and then the site just quit working. now I have to find another way to do this toooooo. Do not use this pharmacy. Pharmacy staff are rude and incompetent. I went in yesterday to pick up my husbands pain medication (he has stage 4 cancer) He get's this Rx every month and was told to come back today. This location has recently gotten a face-lift and now looks so nice on the inside! They redid the floor and most of the aisles. There is now a cute little grocery section that has fresh veggies and the like. The makeup section has also been redesigned and looks higher end than it was previously. I always get my prescriptions filled here and the staff is always friendly and helpful. This place is a good quick stop if you need to pick up bandaids or (now!) a few groceries! read more

I have to agree with others. This pharmacy is very under staffed and can't seem to figure out how to become more efficient. I called a script in, went to get it and they didn't have the correct brand. This is something that should have been stated. Now I have to come back days later!!! Very disorganized, clerks as well as Pharmacist not well trained. Pharmacy Manager on Maternity leave. No one to take their place. Picked up prescriptions after going twice, CVS said wasn't covered by insurance. Insurance Company called CVS to inform them of coverage. Went to pick up 2nd time. Said insurance company did not cover. I explained insurance company called them. I had all insurance information with me. Pharmacist re-entered all information and it was approved. I got home and was missing one prescription. I called Dr. office. They sent prescription for it with the others. Called CVS again and they said it was on hold. I asked why? Insurance issue so they ran it through again and it went through! Prescriptions said consult for new drug, which Pharmacist did not mention or person at cash register. We came from Fremont and never had these type of issues, looking at the reviews I see I am not the only one. I will be changing pharmacy's. People do not have time for this many mistakes and this is not the first time we've had issues with this pharmacy. It's unfortunate because it's a nice store and very convenient. read more

Most of the time I buy loss leaders and use the pharmacy here. Recently my pharmacy visit (yesterday) wasn't that great. We waited in the drop off line for close to 40 minutes! Once up at the front, we were helped quickly and told an hour wait. No problem. We shopped and looked around at the Valentines stuff and just walked around. There's a big space up front near the photo area. It looks like it's missing something; possibly a kiosk of merchandise or something. The space looks wasted. That's just my opinion though. After an hour, we walked back to pharmacy. Waited another 30 minutes in line and finally got his medication. The pharmacy consult went quickly and we were on our way. I do like the deals here but the coupon machine is constantly out of paper! Start charging a nickel for your coupons to print and maybe the roll won't be empty so often. I do enjoy this CVS versus the one on Rodriguez. It's cleaner and the way they have the products arranged is much neater. read more

This pharmacy (on Main St. in Watsonville) has long lines, long hold times on the phone, and difficulties with processing prescriptions and insurance information correctly. Staff seems overwhelmed and unwilling to help trouble shoot problems. It has been very frustrating to deal with this pharmacy and to get my medication in a timely manner. read more

This CVS makes so many mistakes. I'm waiting again for prescriptions that were ready, but CVS has re-actived an old insurance that termed on 4/30/19. Its been correct since 5/1/19, and now the insurance is wrong. System error. I have to wait for the pharmacist to come back from lunch. That will be at 6pm. CVS schedules the pharmacy lunch time at the busiest time of day. Who is managing this place? Must be time for a new pharmacy. read more

Hella rude. I was at the cash register, and got skipped over to get help for a power cord (she didn't even acknowledge me, just turned and walked away to help someone who arrived after me), then when someone finally did help me when we went back to the register he took another person (who arrived after I had already been in line) ahead of me instead of helping me. Honestly this CVS has been my go to for years now, and although sometimes I may not have the best experience here I always come back and find another reason to come back and shop. Their cashier Andrew has been wonderful, he hasn't been working there for long but every time I come in I make sure he's around if I want to have a smooth shopping experience. He's knowledgeable about where product is located and knows some of the silliest deals they have going on. He always happy to be working and I've never received any bad attitude from him. He's not like any of the other people who work there, those people need some happiness in their life, always grumpy. This is my favorite CVS and I will be going back as I have for years now! read more

Went to pick up my prescription 2/12/20 and encountered the unfriendliest people I have ever encountered in a pharmacy no eye contact and it seems like they don't enjoy working there or having to interact with customers. I think that pharmacy school needs to include a lesson in respect. read more

After waiting in line for half an hour for my prescription, I was told I was in the wrong line. I waited in the correct line and in the middle of the pharmacists talking to each other about their personal lives, they let me know that my prescription wasn't ready and it would be another hour. They weren't in a hurry to help the long line in front of them and while they were somewhat professional, they couldn't stop talking to each other about everything from work to what they were doing that weekend. I do NOT recommend getting your prescriptions here. Target is just a few blocks up and much more professional. read more
