Other than the one time frustrating experience, the pharmacy always gets my medications correct and I opted in to get text messages which enables me to get a link to get my prescriptions delivered. I prepay online when my insurance doesn't cover it all. Yes, the pharmacy lines are long and i try to prepare a lot of time when I do go into the store or make sure i have no plans after. However I think all the bad reviews regarding long lines should not be directed at CVS; the U.S. healthcare system is so inefficient, and those are the issues we should be talking about. I am grateful that CVS provides the medications I need when I need them, and i'm sorry that others have not been able to get the prescriptions when they did.

What the hell? This place sucks donkey balls!! Staples was closed down the street and I decided to stop here and see if they had any little monthly planners. I hadn't been in here since they changed ownership and are now CVS/Pharmacy, but man, it's definitely gone down hill. They installed carpet which feels weird in a drug store. I would think carpet would be a pain to clean if liquids are spilled. Wouldn't it be easier to mop up linoleum floors? I don't know, it just feels really cheap, almost like I'm walking into the 99 cent store. Considering Target is their biggest competition, I would have felt they would have kept the old design which was much nicer and tried to make their displays better, but I guess not. I'm srue they have some good deals like Walgreens has, but considering how the store looks now, I don't know if I want to go back. I'd rather just go to Walgreens (and I don't like that store) or Target. I remember the days when this was Payless Drugs. I loved coming here when it was under that company as I used to pick up all my school supplies, cleaning stuff, medications, etc. But then it changed to Rite Aid, Longs and now it's CVS. I'm a bit surprised this space is still occupied, but I guess it's better than it becoming another discount mall. Then again, the chances that will happen are pretty high.

The long lines every time don't make it worth even coming here. 13 in line and many staff in the building.

At 3pm the line has almost 30 people in line for the pharmacy, 15 in line for regular cashiers, and no additional help being called in.

This review is for the CVS Pharmacy in Watsonville. We were surprised the shelfs were so empty.

East Lake Food and Liquor - East Lake Food Liquors. Weird experience. My take is the guy behind counter thought I should be subservient to him. Try again.

I bought snack food here in October 2017 on a morning break. I remember it because the woman behind the counter was really pushing me to return on my "next break". I think she even told me her name - like we were "friends now" and I "wouldn't let her down". Because it felt weird (when have I ever gone to a convenience store and gotten a high pressure type sale? It doesn't happen.) I specifically didn't return. Today I went again, but I nearly instantly regretted it. I took a photo of a strawberry candy flavored for online friends who grew up in Watsonville and miss the town and what it's known for (strawberries being one). I did it "for fun", but apparently taking a photo of it makes me some sort of a criminal. I was told not to take photos so I stopped. No biggie. But it didn't end there. The guy went *on and on* saying "if that is all you are here for I'm going to have to ask you to leave". Now he is pissing me off. DON'T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS. ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO "ALL I WAS THERE FOR". What am I? In the liquor store business trying to rip off their ideas? No. I'm on BREAK looking for CHIPS. If I were in the same business? I would do a FAR better job. I guess he didnt believe me that I was there for food. I guess it was "suspect" that I looked at all the stuff they had for sale to eat. At this point since he wouldn't stop harassing me I said I would just leave. And I did. So now I'm standing in the parking lot thinking "where can I go buy chips?" The same guy (maybe 30, tall, muscular, dark complexion) was on a phone and followed me out. It was quite the production. I didn't need a food break that bad. Now he says he wants to see my badge hanging on my keys. HELL NO. I put my badge in my pocket. He is acting really weird and I don't want some freak knowing my name. Call the police and have THEM look at my badge. I'm good with that. Him? No. He said he was on the phone with his boss (that should be reserved for a crime, just sayin.). Maybe he was lying. Who TF knows. The guy is going on and on asking me WHY I would take a photo. I told him ***more than once*** why. People like to see and talk about their home town. He wasn't getting it. I love history and enjoy making people happy by showing them pictures of their gorgeous hometown with crops sprouting up around here, or anything unique to the area like strawberries and old Victorians. Its not a crime. Last week I told the same friends "Super Max Grocery" closed down a few doors away. Why the 3rd degree? Because I'm female? Just post a clear sign and none of this would have happened. Because he was acting like I was here to rip off his "marketing strategy" (it just looked like your typical Hispanic liquor store), I made it CLEAR that my work has NOTHING to do with the grocery/liquor store business, I am not "moving in next door and trying to compete with their business". I just wanted some damn chips and a drink. I actually had to SAY this to him. Are you kidding me? Now he asks me to delete the photos in my phone and he wants to watch me do it. I deleted the photos AND DIDN'T LET HIM WATCH. I don't want a guy like him THAT close to me complete with the attitude of "I'm going to have ask you to leave". He was still going on and on. I told him !I JUST WANT LUNCH! Maybe he finally understood those words as he FINALLY left me alone. Had it gone on any longer you better believe I would have called 9-1-1. I guess now I can stand OUTSIDE and take a photo of the parking lot which has a strawberry on the sign which will make my friends happy. ..... I went to my amazing friends at Ace Hardware next door and got a chocolate milk, a Payday bar, and some hardware. I told my "friend" there what happened and he said "I'm not surprised." He said he had some sort of problem there also. He used the word subservient. There are lots of other liquor stores (ie: Manny at Aptos Village Liquors)- no need to give these people your money. He has the right to ask for no photos in his store, but he should ALSO have it clearly posted in the store to not take photos. He said there is a sign. I walked all over and didn't see ANY signs so he obviously didn't do a good enough job. I think that is a lie. I have never seen such a sign in that kind of store that sells Bud Light and Ding Dongs. His stance, insinuating that "all I'm there for was to take photos" (weird), getting on the phone, and wanting to see my badge was simply too much which IS my issue today. Keep walking. Seriously.
