Pharmacy staff are generally helpful and polite although I've had a few less than optimal experiences. The store in general is clean and [reasonably] stocked. There have been instances when shelves were empty and isles blocked off. Perhaps because of news of closures in the last year have made stocking difficult. I won't speculate on this. I do like using the Amazon lock boxes at the back of the store for order pick up. This is easy and convenient and allows me to pick up needed items at the same time. Store staff are generally polite and helpful although sometimes it does seem like folks are milling around and not really doing anything. Recommended.

We came in and gave them the insurance information and they informed us that another pharmacy has the prescription in another state and is holding it? Why? This is piss poor customer service. Looks like I'm taking her to the urgent care for heart and diabetes medication. They no longer have Thrifty's ice cream by the pint you have to buy it 5 dollars a scoop. CVS, over the course of almost three weeks, refused to release the Rx to Walmart. The Walmart pharmacy staff were helpful and persistent. They informed me that, despite multiple transfer requests, CVS kept 'denying' the transfer. After an in-person visit to the CVS pharmacy - where I was told I was "out of refills" (not true; I had two left) - and my doctor's office, and a pharmacist-to-pharmacist phone call, the issue was finally resolved but not without great inconvenience and frustration.

The Dr. had forgotten to uncheck a box and ordered the "do not replace with generic". The pharmacist at Boyd's, on his own accord, went and found coupons to bring our price down to under what the generic would have cost us, still giving us the name brand.
