The reason why this was so important to me is I have health issues that require different meds and I looked at her as a life saving person because without her, I would've had way more difficulty managing my meds. She always had a nice word to say and always made time for me even if she was busy. Now the reason why I am scoring low is because as of today, I myself, amount the rest of the customers found out that the pill box was sold to rite aid as the pharmacy was closed today and all of the customers received a mass text from rite aid at 9am this morning. We literally didn't know til the day of. But truth be told, the pharmacist/owner sold the business at least 6-7 months ago and decided to outright be a coward and not tell us customers or employees until basically the day of. Pill box has another location in Fresno, I'm not sure if they did the same thing with that one as well. I'm truly upset that a man who would hide out in the back when he seen me coming would think it's ok to sell my private, personal information to rite aid. I'm sure he will get some sort of kick back for how many customers switch to rite aid so the best thing we can do as a community that was wronged by the neighborhood pharmacist, is to pick a different pharmacy than rite aid because if you chose rite aid, you are continuing to pay the pharmacist who put us in this awful situation. Have I experienced a delay in getting prescriptions? Of course, but communication, patience and kindness help get what I need. I take a few medications daily so I visit this CVS location's pharmacy staff 1-2 times per month for refills and appreciate how they make these visits effortless. They make sure to educate me about my CVS and Caremark app and medication info. Suggestion: If you're having difficulty getting your meds filled, I suggest reaching out to your health insurance company and asking for a pharmacy benefits rep. They should assist with reviewing your benefits, contacting your doctor's office if a prior authorization is needed, and contact the pharmacy to assist you in getting your medications. I've found that calmly explaining the situation works better than shrieking or berating. As for the retail side, I used to makeup shop at CVS stores because the coupons and deals were great. Then the pandemic happened, so I stopped wearing makeup and grew my eyebrows back so I don't really shop for makeup anymore. I'll use CVS coupons to buy medical items as needed, but most items are a little too expensive for me these days. Other than that, I appreciate my CVS store, especially my pharmacy team. After being greeted by my first name (another rarity) I told the technician my son was out of the medication and needed more. She said no problem, then confirmed the dose and refilled the medication on the spot. It added maybe 5 minutes to the trip. I was in and out with the 4 medications in less than 10 minutes. I was constantly being told " Out of Stock." I found the Kaweah Delta Pharmacy after I had seen my doctor on the 3rd floor. The pharmacy is on the first floor, easy and easy out. I paid a fair price for my prescription was $0 because my insurance paid for all of because this pharmacy is in my preferred network.
