Pharmacy technician on the driveway with glasses and a cross tattoo was very unprofessional. She was eating while working. Didn't even greet me, and shoved my prescription on the box. I understand they are busy but she should get fired, she hates her job. Plus my insurance pays this drugstore to much to mistreat in that manner. Company should consider train their employees better. She is the only one that has ever been unpleasant in this store. read more

Please don't go here, I live around the corner and had a interview with the new manager and was told I'd get a call back soon but never did (yes I checked in every week since and alas no response or I repeatedly would get hung up on for asking for a update). Also this store is not equipped with enough staff to maintain day functions as it is very evident when walking in. Pharmacist Dr. Candice Cummings, PhD is an excellent pharmacist. She administered two shots to me; 1 for shingles and 1 tetanus that I experienced with very little discomfort. She absolutely is the best person giving shots that I have received in a long time. She is also nice, easy to speak with, efficient, and as I said, great at giving shots. Dr. Cummings also mentioned taking Ibeprophem for any discomfort from the shots. She's excellent. Her staff, pharmacy assistants, at this CVS pharmacy are also very helpful, pleasant, and efficient. This is a busy pharmacy but everyone is always pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend this CVS pharmacy on Demeree, Visalia, CA. read more

if i could leave no stars i would. this location is the WORST. don't even bother sending your prescriptions here because you'll be waiting well over 30-45 min in the drive thru or inside, to get to the counter and have rude asf customer service. Workers slamming stuff on the counter, rude responses, attitudes. If they were more friendly, i wouldn't mind the wait, i get it - this location is in a busy area, but screw that. read more

The staff is very rude. They aggressively set meds on counter (hey you can break bottles of meds that are not easily stocked forcing me to travel to get the same ned elsewhere). Wow, the claws on the cashiers make it an annoying when being handed change or receipts. Common manager, you see this. Don't even try to go there within 30 minutes of closing time. I praised this location. It was always amazing. Now it has turned to garbage and incompetent people saying stupid shitty things instead of providing customer service as they used to. Go anywhere but cvs demaree pharmacy. A woman who answered the phone was super unprofessional. I asked for her name. she refused. i asked again and she refused again. she put me on hold and the pharmacist answered. I told him about unprofessional incompetent girl who put me on hold and then she or someone hung up after she refused to give me her name. When i asked for the manager a guy came and said i can help you. I said are you the manager. he said no. so incompetant. He provided me name of manager but said he had to look at screens for gm. he came back and wished me well and goodbye. i said where is the gms name and contact info you promised me. He said wasn't sure gm wanted info shared. You incompetent man - I was frustrated with the earlier incompetent person and now i have two. no help at all. so unprofessional. if you take ur rx to grocery store pharmacy they often have a sign on bonus like $25 per rx. Im going there and to hell with cvs for their repeated incompetance. shame shame shame. read more

This CVS pharmacy in Visalia is awesome. The staff are very friendly and their voice messaging system works beautifully. Every time we leave a message they get back to us with an answer within 45 minutes. Between their service being excellent and their friendliness we feel they are performing at an excellent level. It's too bad other pharmacies like Walgreens doesn't learn from CVS on how to provide customer service. read more

Rudeness, from pharmacy staff named Susie! I called in the afternoon, to verify my perscripton was ready, I was told not yet, they received shipment today, and for me to call back in a few hours to check. So I called back 3hrs later as told and Susie answered and asked for my information, in which I gave to her and told her the name of the medication, she asked if I was signed up for text and that I should've gotten a text, I told her I didn't and asked if it's ready she said I told you 3x that yes it's ready, in which she only said it once and as I was saying that, she hung up on me!! I called back to talk to the supervisor to report Susie, come to find out, the meds wasn't even in stock, So No Susie! It wasn't ready!! I will be calling Corporate, it's not ok to treat people rudely, because you think you can, I was respectful when she answered and I should've been treated in the same manner. This is not the first, this has happened, I've just never said anything until it happened again. read more

Went to CVS store on Caldwell to print a couple pictures for my father in laws memorial service and ask the gal working for help. She tried to suggest a couple things which I already tried and asked if there was someone else and she said yes he will be here in 5 minutes. After about 25 minutes with people coming in and checking out I asked the guy that came up if he could help and he said as soon as he opens the bathroom for someone he would help. He came back and started to help people in line who came in after I had already been waiting. I said can I please get some help and he said after he helped the other people in line. Again they all came in after I was there waiting for the help I asked for. Terrible customer service and I will never go back to that store, one lost customer. SC 7/9/24 read more

I called in January to ask why my prescription was so expensive. The gentleman said that I had a new policy and that until he received the information this was an accurate price. I explained that I did not have a new policy, nor did I make any changes to my policy. He said, "No. It says right here that you have a new policy." I argued that perhaps there was a new number corresponding with a new year, 2023, but that I had the same insurance. He continued to state that I did have a new policy, using the same words over and over, even though I'd asked for clarification. To date, this issue is outstanding with no resolve. read more

I really don't know why I keep choosing to use this pharmacy, probably due to convenience and location to where I live. I hate to make a blanket statement, but the pharmacy staff is pretty rude and continue to be indifferent to anyones issues. Whether I call or walk in to pick up the ONE medication I take, there always seems to be an attitude of not caring. CVS seems to have trouble getting my particular medication on time and it always seems to be my fault; or at least thats how they come across. Shame on the pharmacy staff for their careless attitudes and impoliteness. YOU chose healthcare, or more appropriately customer service as your career...please remember that. Why I stopped here I'm not sure but I needed a CVS to check for a specific item which this disgrace for a CVS did not have. To say I was disappointed, disgusted, and disturbed would be an understatement. This CVS needs more than air fresheners and a desperate renovation, it needs an adjustment so powerful that Jesus himself must be sought out in prayer to improve the store and the employees. It was so depressing to be in this store that I had to walk out and listen to spirit filling music in my car. This pharmacy is AWFUL. The line is out to the parking lot and even inside the line is long. They never have any prescriptions ready when they say they will. Whenever I call, I'm on hold for at least 15 minutes. I have gotten a few missed calls from them and they don't leave any voicemails. Also, some of the female workers seriously need some people skills and manners. If you hate your job that much, find a different profession. I waited in line for a long time only to be told when I got to the front that one of my medications was out of stock and I'd "have to go to the drop off window to find out why." Why do I have to do that? Why couldn't she give me an answer instead of making me wait in another line?? I will be happy to never set foot in this place ever again. Drive Thru is definitely a joke. My provider said to head on over and my meds should be ready in about 15. I pull up, man at the window says he's barely putting in the order and will be 30 minutes. so i'm waiting in the parking lot, get to the window it's about 8:40, well over 30 minutes and he tells me " Sorry, we weren't able to get that done tonight is it okay if we do it tomorrow?" ?!!!!! are you kidding. Not like I had a choice but my thing is why didn't he warn me the first time to say they're behind and might not be able to fill it? Josie. She was so remarkable. On the phone she was patient and committed to finding solutions. Unlike the pharmacist's who wanted to stay in their lane, Josie was determined to fix the issue. An HOUR. in the store she spent an hour on the phone calling whomever she needed to in order to fix the problem. She never ignored other customers and never let go of my concerns. The whole time she was pleasant, competent, kind and resourceful. How do you recognize someone who is so helpful and makes you believe people really care. The pharmacist would get a 0. detached, uninterested. More importantly there was Josie. A breath of fresh air. Thank you Josie for making the world a better place. read more

This is by far one of the worst pharmacies I've ever been too. Last time they took two days with my sons decadron for his croup! While also making me drive back and forth to their other pharmacies because they said the medication was there! This time I called to make sure my prescription was there and they gave me two of the three I had to ask for the third one and then they told me to drive around because it was going to be 15 more minutes! This is the most inefficient business I have ever witnessed. One line for prescriptions that are 5-8 cars deep and no one in the Covid test line. I wait 30-45 minutes every time I pick up a scrip. A gluten for punishment evidently that it took this long to transfer my scrips. read more

While CVS may sometime overestimate the time your script will be ready (while you wait), I have found CVS to be helpful, diligent, thorough and professional. While I haven't taken advantage of it yet, I'm really looking forward to using the new home delivery system they have implimended. From what I've seen and heard, it may be that CVS has more expensive medication than some other pharmacies (like Ritd-Aid) but I have no proof of this and new customers may want to investigate that. Good luck with CVS-- If you don't expect the unattainable, I think you will enjoy CVS for your prescription needs. read more

Every time I come to this pharmacy the lines are long and the prescription is not ready. It's one visit so I can wait in line for 15 minutes just for them to tell me it's not ready but they will "expedite it" and then a 20-40 minute wait or else come back a second time to actually get it. When I point out this recurring issue, the pharm tech just shrugged and said "sorry". Don't bother trying to call ahead either or you'll be on hold longer than you would be standing in line. The app also has problems. I recommend you find somewhere else to get your prescriptions filled. I very likely will. read more
