Great locally owned pharmacy. Friendly and helpful. Advantage of shopping local, they learn who you are and remember you.

Unprofessional and Discriminatory Service…read more I recently had a highly unpleasant experience at Rite Aid located on Visalia road in Exeter on 7/10/24. I am prescribed a controlled substance by my doctor, a psychiatrist based in California, and they even spoke directly with the pharmacist. Despite this, the pharmacist refused to fill my prescription, citing no valid reason and instead, suggested that I take my prescription to CVS. This encounter felt discriminatory and unprofessional. The pharmacist's demeanor was dismissive and condescending, and it was evident that they were on a power trip rather than adhering to any legitimate policy. As a patient, I rely on timely access to my psychiatric medication, and being treated this way is both frustrating and unacceptable. I hope Rite Aid addresses this issue and ensures their pharmacists provide respectful and professional service to ALL patients. I'll be filling a formal complaint against Ray/ Rite Aid with the California board of Pharmacy and the DEA. I urge others to do the same. After reading previous reviews, Ray requesting customers "return/exchange" meds is a violation of both federal and state regulations. Not sure what happens with pharmacist Ray's drug refusal and take back programs, but he is clearly not a federal marshal or employee of the DEA. *Also as an update for Audrey the CS bot below, I did call rite aid immediately and requested a follow up. Shocking but, I've not heard back. *

Robotic questions. No caring in her voice or attitude. The gal who gave me my booster was so unfriendly, cut, dry, no personal skills whatsoever , these employees should be reprimanded or go work in a factory where you need zero people skills.... ...no hello from front register gal either. Just " do you know how to use our "self check out?" Hopefully, a District Manager sees this and talks with store manager. Shame on this store, there are other stores I Can do business with.

Faded yellow lights glued on top, A plastic crown from some clearance shop, He patrols his kingdom--oil-stained ground-- Self-anointed greasy little lawman where none is found. I drove through shadows, calm and clean, Machine precise, subdued, serene. Perhaps the shine offended him-- Was I something bright to something so dim? He followed slow with righteous flare, The musk of mildew in the air. A cough, a glare, a stunted bark: "Too fast," he squealed in the dark. "Excuse me, sir, your reckless flight-- Fifteen miles per hour's California Law, right?." I said, "Not twenty?" To push - Calm. Polite. His badge was plastic. Words were light. Private asphalt. Corporate ground. No state laws cover this ground. But arguing with this sewer steam Is like wrestling ghosts in fevered dream. So I replied, with measured grace, "I'll study up." Then watched his face. He blinked. He stalled. His script fell through. The obnoxious shrank to something true. He wanted clash. He wanted roar. He wanted power over the poor. Instead he found me, a quiet wall And nothing there to bruise at all. His eyes glazed over, simpleton-like Collapsing like his rusted ride. A thank-you muttered, weak and small-- The guardian of aisle and bathroom stall. No, little troll, you did not win. You simply tripped upon your greasy grin.
