You will then make it to the counter to find out nothing is filled and they are quite annoyed you're even there. So, I came in and at first they said for a lost or stolen prescription I couldn't get a new one. This Walgreens pharmacy has extremely poor service. I wanted to refill a prescription but was out of refills.The prescription can be refilled after contacting the doctor's office, which takes a day or two. The item doesn't actually require a prescription since it is sold over the counter, but with the prescription, the price is much reduced. It used to be the case that a good pharmacist would ask if you are out of the med, or item, and if so, give you a couple of "samples" to hold you over for a day or two. Not anymore at Walgreens. Instead, I got a snippy bad attitude from the pharmacy clerk. The only option given was to purchase a full box for $100. The messy store was almost empty of customers, and with such bad service, I can see why. Avoid this Walgreens pharmacy. read more

The pharmacy is my "go-to" when I need medication, they're pretty fast at getting my prescriptions out within the same day! The line can get busy inside and in the drive thru so be ready for that! The staff can be a hit and miss, a majority of the time they're friendly, but of course you kind of get the one "get to the point" staff member. I like the text notifications I get whenever my prescription has been filled, it brings a sense of ease. read more

My wife was confronted by a young female clerk who maintained that there was a "cure" in San Diego for COVID-19 coronavirus. When my wife told the young woman that she was misinformed, the clerk proceeded to argue with her, maintaining that she was correct. I am a physician, by the way. I attach the message I sent my wife when she asked me to factcheck the information, as follows: **Here is the article; it appeared on CBS News. Note that this is in no way a "cure" but a vaccine (ie, a preventative measure), which is not yet even at stage III (human testing) in development. It is being developed by Inovio Labs in San Diego. If it even works, it might help protect people during the next outbreak, but it will not affect the current pandemic. Obviously, a vaccine is not a treatment and even less a "cure." That pharmacy clerk should not be spewing this false information - it is dangerous, especially since some people may mistake her for a healthcare provider.** This clerk is not only giving people false information about a potentially life-threatening illness, she is also arguing with customers who attempt to enlighten her with the actual facts. If giving negative stars was option, that's what I'd give this pharmacy. Their service is horrible. They rarely have medications in stock. The automated response will tell you that the prescription is being ordered but most times it's not. You have to call to get them to actually check on it and to get it in stock. Pharmacy staff wasn't very kind at all. I was trying to give them the info they needed and they felt the need to comment that my allergies to medications were not allergies at all. Only side effects. I said "well my doctor saw them and how long the lasted and how intense they were and ruled them as allergies not just side effects." When you have a reaction to a medication that is above what constitutes side effects it is then labeled an allergy. It would be dangerous to my life to have those medications again. So they are allergies. Treat people with kindness in the future, pharmacy staff man, please!! Don't try to write off someone's knowledge gained from their doctor and terrible experiences, just simply write down the allergies and accept the information they give you. I work at the clinic on walnut and court and we were desperately needing COVID rapid tests I found some at this pharmacy and the worker named Lydia had reached out to her manager regards how many I could purchase they were so kind to sell us two boxes which was amazing we needed them for our sick patients and kids to get tested. The pharmacy employees don't give a shit about your concerns. My family's prescriptions got transferred here from the Rite aid due to pharmacy closing and I'm only one month in with this pharmacy and it's been nothing but a nightmare. The drive-thru is not really a drive-thru. You literally sit in a line for at least 20 minutes before a single car moves. They when I approached the window the staff member tells me my prescription isn't ready because they need ins info. Why they couldn't tell me this when I called in the prescription 6 hrs prior?? A phone call would have been nice, and when I expressed my frustration to the guy he had a look of I don't give a shit. Went here to get a water and soda. This has to be the friendliest Walgreens in Visalia! Honestly-every staff person we passed said hello. At check out Stephanie helped us and was fabulous. She the first person to say hi when we walked in and we luckily to have her check us out. Super friendly, extremely helpful. She checked our points (which hasn't happened before). Turned out we had enough points to pay for our purchase and just had to pay .15 in taxes... what what?! Made our day. Their pharmacy was really great and teen friendly. They had access to family planning products (birth control, etc.) and the morning after pill. The morning after pill (E.C.) was in a cabinet, so you did have to ask for help. Also thought the family planning products should be located closer to the pharmacy itself. read more

The worst service EVER in the pharmacy. It takes numerous trips (waste of gas) to pick up 1 prescriptions. We decided to change pharmacies, NOW they will not transfer our prescriptions. I used to go to this pharmacy for everything I needed. Then they got a new manager on a power trip and he refuses to give out medications if he doesn't think you should take them...even after talking to your DOCTOR that prescribed them. I don't know what this guys deal is, but I have no way of getting my meds that I need after just having major surgery. Even his own staff tells me this guy (Navine) is completely incompetent. It's like he failed out of medical school and can't come to terms with it. I suggest to everyone that doesn't need a 24 hour pharmacy to take their business elsewhere. read more
