    Fresh Sushi

Someone worked very hard making all this delicious fresh sushi . The service here is very helpful and friendly. The ambiance is employee owned and very low prices. Something for everyone, lots of bulk items, fresh produce, bakery, excellent meat selection!

    One bite in.

Winco has always been great. The food is amazing. The prices are great. Everything is affordable. It reminds me of a mini Costco to be honest. What I love about winco is the deli. Much like save mart (which is another review in itself) the deli is ALWAYS on point. I go here almost every day before work to grab a sandwich. Now let me explain why. You pay 2.78$ for a giant sandwich that will last you the entire day, as to where you can go to a sandwich restaurant and pay three times the amount. I tried a croissant turkey, ham, combo type of deal this time around. The date says sell by the 5th, well, today I'm writing a review on the 6th. It's incredibly delicious to say the least, and enough to keep me full for probably the next few hours. I write this as I eat it, and as you can see, I'm taking bites between pictures. I can't help it. Thanks Winco. See you again soon.

It's a Winco. It's affordable but also pretty ghetto. It's just what you get. It's not gonna stop me from going back.

Just have to bag your own stuff plus they don't take credit/debit cards... other than that the food looks good and not too busy.

I love the bulk food area. Fresh ground nut butters without added oils and sugar. The apples are the best in any market in the area.

Ask the Community - WinCo Foods

Is Winco open special hours for senior?

What time are they open and what time do they close tomorrow?

Hi Jackie, our employee-owned stores reopened today at 7am. We hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Can you bring your own bags and jars for the bulk section? I really don't want to use plastic

At this time we do not allow our friends to bring in their own containers or bags for the Bulk Foods Department. The reasoning behind this not only for the tare weight of the bag/jar, but also food safety reasons; we would need extra resources that…

I moved away quite a few years ago and come back just for visits as I still have family and friends in the area. Well today we celebrated my dad's birthday. I came in to purchase a cake when I was on the way to their house. My dad, 78, is specific with what he likes. White cake buttercream frosting. I walked in, found the cutest cake, and purchased it. The ladies in the cake department, on point with personality and being helpful, that is why I am giving a 2 star. I took my parents to dinner then back to their house to eat cake. When I cut into the cake it was chocolate with buttercream frosting. I serve the cake and sing happy birthday and see my dad is happy but also disappointed, I mean it's the one time of the year he gets to have his favorite cake. After celebrating, I walk outside (approximately 6pm) and contact the store supervisor. The moment he hung up on me without a word should have told me everything. When I called back and he didn't apologize just said yeah when I explained I was holding for the supervisor should have told me everything about him. The audacity of this man to say well if you bring the cake back we'll exchange it in the rudest I can't be bothered tone. Not hey I'm really sorry about that. No hey let me see what I can do for you. No hey let me address this with the managing staff to ensure this doesn't happen again. No, the tone and attitude this "supervisor" had was condescending and judgmental, almost accusatory like I was lying. So, I am leaving this review and posting the picture I took of the cake and cover in hopes the store manager sees this. The tone your supervisors set is the tone your employees will have. Do better!

I prefer a proper grocery store with baggers and friendly checkers like at my Ralph's down in the LBC. I was pleased to find Save-Mart because it's about as close as I will get to a proper grocery in this town. Nicely stocked, but not overly stocked with too many random brands. Their selections lean toward the top sellers of many name brands. I was also pleased to find that Save-Mart also carries some items that I would have to get have to get from Whole Foods. The produce department is the best around, however, the meat department lacks a bit. There is a great deli and bakery section as well. The store layout is a bit strange for me and I still haven't found a way to maneuver the store without back tracking. My only critique is the prices. Save Mart is a bit on the higher side, but I guess that it's worth it to avoid the other stores in town.

Some of the produce and the meat and dairy is in a walk in cooler , so you need to dress for 40 degrees if you are going to spend times in these departments. Sizes are larger- for example - mushrooms are packed in 2.5 lbs, not 8-12 oz like a supermarket. Some items are equivalent to club store sizes, others are larger. Items may have a unit price and a case price, I bought a comercial quality non- stock cooking spray to try, a larger spray can than the supermarket which was also available in a case of a dozen. I like skirt steak, the slot was empty ( happens from time to time,), but if it's on their online order system they can get it , like when I want a lot of boneless beef short ribs. I asked about veal, which US Foods has on their food service restaurant supply side, I was told some items are available and some are not available through the Chef Store, just ask about specific items. One cool items were bamboo skewers- which were available in 4 lengths , 6,8,10&12 inches. The restrooms, which are in a location for the shopping public and not hidden in a store room have a coded lock, so you need to ask for the code.
