The prices were AMAZING--so much cheaper than other grocery stores I've been to lately. I was genuinely shocked at how much I was able to get without spending a fortune. They even have claw machines for the kids near the front, and the best part is that you're guaranteed to win! The larger machines are a little more expensive, but even then, it's still cheaper than buying some of the same squishy toys in a store. And the 50-cent sodas in the vending machines?! WHAT?! I haven't seen soda that cheap in forever! The cashier who helped me was also really nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. My only complaint was coming in early in the morning. There were a lot of employees around, and several checkout lanes and isles were blocked off, so everything was a detour to get to which made things a little awkward and inconvenient. And the parking lot was like dirty but not dirty it just had a whole bunch of little small particles and trash all over the floor but the Buggies were all nicely together and ready to go. The inside also had a lot of trash and boxes all over but that's to be expected because it's from the overnight stockers stocking but I'm sure they get rid of that trash, boxes and cardboard before they clock out. Besides those negative things I mentioned that honestly,was a small issue compared to how great everything else was. Overall, I had a really good experience and will definitely be shopping at WinCo again. The prices alone are enough to bring me back even if i do have to spend a little more in gas since i come from Hanford ! I'm just amazed!!!

Although there weren't any at the register, Mario immediately offered to get some for me. He actually jogged over to grab them so he wouldn't keep the other customers waiting, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful. He went out of his way to help with something that could have easily been brushed off, and his willingness to help made a great impression. It's rare to see someone show that level of attentiveness and urgency for such a small request, but it really enhanced my shopping experience. Mario was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about providing excellent customer service. Thank you, Mario, for going the extra mile, it was greatly appreciated.

I moved away quite a few years ago and come back just for visits as I still have family and friends in the area. Well today we celebrated my dad's birthday. I came in to purchase a cake when I was on the way to their house. My dad, 78, is specific with what he likes. White cake buttercream frosting. I walked in, found the cutest cake, and purchased it. The ladies in the cake department, on point with personality and being helpful, that is why I am giving a 2 star. I took my parents to dinner then back to their house to eat cake. When I cut into the cake it was chocolate with buttercream frosting. I serve the cake and sing happy birthday and see my dad is happy but also disappointed, I mean it's the one time of the year he gets to have his favorite cake. After celebrating, I walk outside (approximately 6pm) and contact the store supervisor. The moment he hung up on me without a word should have told me everything. When I called back and he didn't apologize just said yeah when I explained I was holding for the supervisor should have told me everything about him. The audacity of this man to say well if you bring the cake back we'll exchange it in the rudest I can't be bothered tone. Not hey I'm really sorry about that. No hey let me see what I can do for you. No hey let me address this with the managing staff to ensure this doesn't happen again. No, the tone and attitude this "supervisor" had was condescending and judgmental, almost accusatory like I was lying. So, I am leaving this review and posting the picture I took of the cake and cover in hopes the store manager sees this. The tone your supervisors set is the tone your employees will have. Do better!

Instead of leaving it at that, one of the owners (Eva--you're the GOAT) personally drove my order to me to make sure I still received exactly what I had ordered. That's customer service you just don't see anymore. The food is fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious, but it's the people that make this place special.
