I used to get gas at the Mobil station across the street from the Buffalo Wild Wings-Price Chopper plaza near my office. For a long time, the convenience store attached to the gas station was operated by the "On the Run" corporation, but that was taken over by Circle K a few years ago. I've stopped here for drinks and gas either on my way out, or on my way home. They have Mobil gasoline, plus separate diesel and kerosene pumps on the left side of the store. There a decent selection of drinks and snacks, and the store seems pretty clean, well-stocked and well-organized. While there is a customer bathroom, it is actually a porta-potti outdoors, behind the building, so it's like roughing it for people who might be more sensitive to those sort of things (although it beats going in the woods). Be careful pulling out (especially if you're on a motorcycle), since it's at the top of a hill, cars travel pretty fast and you can only see so far out before a car pops over the crest of the hill. One time a few years ago - I will never forget - I was coming back from a motorcycle ride in Connecticut, where I had gotten caught in heavy rain. It was either dusk or dark, but anyway, I went inside to prepay for my gas. There was a customer ahead of me, but the cashier was extremely chatty with this customer, so much so that a puddle of water formed on the floor beneath me while I waited.

Seriously, where else have you ever seen breakfast quesadillas, catfish and grits, cheesecake cornbread waffles, smoked brisket hash, deep fried pork ribs, catfish, mushroom, and alligator tacos, and a Puerto Rican Rice Bowl all happily living in the same menu's neighborhood? And then, the icing on the cake was our server - a charismatic and uber-friendly gent named Bromwell who lights up the room with his personality. He made my list of the five greatest servers I interacted with this year. The restaurant's location is as unusual as its menu. You'll find it occupying the front space at the Suffield Commons Senior Living Apartments! Yup, as you walk through the restaurant and out their back door, you actually enter a common space for the housing complex. The restaurant itself has two dining rooms with booths, tables, and chairs and a bar with dining room chairs. That eclectic menu is chock full of breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices with Mexican and barbecue flairs. We were there for lunch and ordered two things. The first was an enormous Cheese Quesadilla ($9.35) with pork ($3.12) on a grilled flour tortilla served with sour cream and pico. It was a thing of beauty, cut into five thick wedges loaded with smoked pork. Our second item was a Caesar Salad (Half size for $6.23) with a side of smoked brisket ($9.36). I passed on the croutons and Caesar dressing in lieu of barbecue sauce as my dressing. I gotta tell you, the brisket was GREAT, a big serving of tender and juicy smoked beef cut into four slabs that must have totaled close to a half pound. We loved everything about Fire On the Mountain and agreed that we need to return for a proper breakfast when we are out that way or making a morning airport run. PRO TIP The restrooms are located in the housing complex's common space I described earlier/ Just exit the restaurant by the door in the rear dining room, and you're just about there.

Had myself some pancakes, scrambled eggs and potatoes and this hit the spot! Pancakes were huge filled with blueberries. Potatoes were crisp as I had asked. And when I order scrambled eggs with cheese this is exactly how I want them made, fluffy and mixed together. They have alligator on the menu and as temped as I was to order, I will save that for next time.

I said it's 450 and hours are listed as closing at 6 not 5. They said that they close at 5 and to come Saturday after 9 am. As I was walking out one of the employees mumbled something and the 3 of them laughed. Very unprofessional location and if they close at 5 then why were they already closed at 450 with coats on waiting for 5. Which imo means that they closed at 430 due to having worked in retail myself and knowing that the register has to be balanced and counted before leaving store. So they closed way before I arrived to have everything done and already with coats on and purses in hand 10 min prior to 5.

I went to Vincent's Pharmacy with GRANDMA in the 1970's when it was up in the building across the street from Rockville General Hospital. I went to was a patron when it moved to the strip mall down in back of where the old Zahner's used to be.... My mother used them all her life and they saved her from being extorted by one of her live in aides with me.... then they move and new ownership comes in and wants to utterly ruin their relationship with the long-term customers like I am who only owes 6 dollars and needs medication for a yeast infection that can be paid within two weeks, they can't give me my medication even though I've been paying my bill and have payment on file with them. I'm not one of those who use them wrack the bill up and then move onto other places either.... I cared about my relationship and loyalty to them and they snub me. Well forget them....I guess I'm going to have a yeast infection for two weeks..... these younger people don't know what loyalty of a customer truly is. I'm furious. I wish John didn't sell he cared about the person not the pocketbook when it concerned the health of a person! It's not like a yeast infection medication is a controlled substance either. WTF really? My five star rating just went down to two to one stars with this place. These new owners had better pray to GOD they never get sick when they are older and are denied basic healthcare services. If I didn't know better they are predjudice against people on SS Security or State... He told me to go someplace else and get my medication. He also told me to call my doctor to get a cheaper copay one this is why I think he's prejudiced against those with state healthcare. Why would he say that if this med was only$20? Now see after hours nurse called me back calling office tomorrow seeing what they can do and then First Choice does have a pharmacy, so I'll take my business there... I'm done. I do NOT recommend Rockville Pharmacy to anyone at this point. They have changed and do not care about those in the community who are on fixed incomes anymore. We have a lot who are. First Choice Healthcare Centers has always been good to us and I go to them for everything. They just started this pharmacy so I'm going to call them and see about rolling everything including my daughter's things over. Want to know what the problem is? Yeast Infection with an open wound. I have a boil that just burst and another one that will be soon on my inner thigh. I have to be very careful the yeast doesn't get into the bloodstream through this open wound. The pharmacist didn't need to know this!
