Right as I walked in, there was a nice assortment of fresh spring flowers and plants. I came in for some eyedrops. So I headed towards the pharmacy to ask the pharmacist for a suggestion. He was very kind and offered me a suggestion, he said most of them are the same, but the less expensive ones you'd have to use more frequently. This CVS was very well stocked. There were some brand new items I haven't seen or heard of before. They have self checkout registers and a person working. I purchased two items, my receipt was as long as I had purchased 500 items. This is a change they could make, unnecessarily long receipts.

Also, it's right on College Highway in a convenient location. If you want a review of just CVS locations, then this is a five star business. However, CVS is flawed as a whole, so three stars is the highest I can give any location. Let me explain my last statement further. First of all, there are never enough people at the registers. That's only where it begins. They have the slowest checkout process on the planet. The stores are set up to be a convenience store, with customers only buying a handful of items at a time. However, they run great sales on grocery items. This should be a good thing, but they can't handle people coming up to the counter with a cart full of items. Even without that happening, one person ahead of you in line means you'll be standing there for a while. There is no reason why anybody should have to call for backup because three people are in line, but somehow they've made the process so slow that it's necessary. Like I said earlier, this is a convenience store that just so happens to have a pharmacy in the back. The problem is that the pharmacy isn't always open. I don't know if it's law, or what, but you can't buy cold medicine with ephedrine at the regualr checkout. Newsflash: New Englanders can afford cocaine, so nobody is using that box of Mucinex to cook meth. This ain't Montana. Still, if you're so congested you can't breathe on a Sunday at 7p.m., you're out of luck. So, if you're looking for a CVS, this is one of the best. If you're looking for a pharmacy or convenience store, go somewhere else.

This is the real deal, a friendly pharmacist that knows everyone's name and gives personal attention to his customers. Today, I switched to CVS. No more Walgreens. They lost our business. My husband went to pick up a perscription for our daughter who had a bad case of pink eye. He was told that it wasn't ready and he would need to come back TOMORROW. IT IS A BOTTLE OF EYE DROPS!!! I called and was told to come down before 7. I got there at 6:45 and waited in line at the drive through. I got to the window at 6:55. They told me that they had no insurance for my daughter. I had picked up a perscription, a few days prior, and explained that we had the same insurance. The woman placed the cardboard signs in the window and left me with six inched of space to see her. I had no idea what was going on, but was at the window, by now, for twenty minutes. Two other people pulled behind me and I was asked to pull into another lane. Then, I pulled back up. They ignored me, so I rang the bell. They, again, tried to tell me to come back tomorrow and leave my child in pain because they could not find her insurance information and, obviously, wanted to go home. I was now there for 40 minutes. I, then, called the insurance company and they said that nobody even attempted to pull her information. He said that she did have insurance and she heard it. Then, she shouted, over his voice, "What insurance information do you have?" She used a very rude tone. I repeated what she said and added that she used a rude tone. When she heard that, she said, "DO YOU WANT TO SEE A RUDE TONE? I'LL SHOW YOU A RUDE TONE!!!" Then she threw my insurance card in the bucket and closed the remaining part of the window over with cardboard and said, "You will have to come back tomorrow!" She did this knowing that my daughter was suffering! I told her that I will never shop there again and I will NOT. My insurance guy even said that she was so rude, as he was still on the phone. DO NOT SHOP HERE! I went to CVS. They were kind and had no trouble finding my daughter's insurance information. I was out of there, in way less time. SHOP HERE!
