I was told twice that they had my prescription in stock, after which I had spent hours trying to find, only to find out when I called back and spoke with a different pharmacist the next day that they actually didn't have it at all. The pharmacy member had a different prescription in stock which was the wrong prescription. At no point did they call me back to tell me this. They handled everything terribly. On hold for over an hour when 1:30 (their lunch time) hit and the call disconnected. Waited for their lunch to end, and called back. On hold for 22 minutes when someone answered. I explained why I was calling and they said "we don't have time for this" and hung up on me. Ridiculous. I went to CVS on Aug 5, 2021. Store 1098. To get a vaccine at 10:30 am. This is how the counter looked and I asked 3 employees if they will clean it up, and I was ignored. They try to blame my insurance and doctor for not approving my medicine EACH TIME but the second they go and look deeper on the computer BOOM there it is . Would give 0 stars if I could. 100% do not recommend this pharmacy. Was discharged from the ER in early September and had to call the pharmacy 3x in regards to my medications that I never got. No one ever followed up with me. Had it been a medication I needed to live I would be 6 ft. Avoid this pharmacy. read more

Pleasant experience the staff is extremely friendly and patient. I know they're known for long wait times in the pharmacy but it's a super busy store. It's right on the corner of an intersection. For the 3rd time, my son, who is on the Autism Spectrum, and has ADHD, was unable to get his very needed Rx for his ADHD medication filled. He is on what is considered a "controlled substance", so it is difficult for us to transfer it to a different pharmacy, or, if it occurs on the weekend, to have the MD available to send it to a different pharmacy. Once is understandable, twice, well, maybe some extenuating circumstances, but 3 times in less than a year is not acceptable. This is totally inexcusable. The pharmacy manager made an excuse about their policy change in ordering controlled substances, and for a 24 hour pharmacy not to be able to fill it for 5 days is absurd. Do not use this place! This is a 24 hour pharmacy yet it takes eight hours just for them to fill one prescription of hydrochlorothiazide and then it takes 30 minutes to 45 minutes for them to answer the pharmacy phone they are always behind they are always having adequate staff but the staff looks like they don't know what they are doing corporate needs to investigate this location to help it because it needs a lot of help! read more

CVS has got to be the most overpriced drugstore there is...anywhere. I switched my fiancé's scripts from CVS to Stop and Shop's Windsor and/or Vernon pharmacies years ago and saved a bundle (and I love their pharmacists!). One of his drugs was even cheaper by paying THE CASH PRICE at Stop and Shop, and all his copays were reduced too. We were passing by CVS on New Year's Eve, so conveniently stopped in to buy a bottle of NatureMade Vitamin E, 400IU, 300 count softgels, but it was $28.99!! Compare that to Amazon's price of $16.14 with free delivery, or Walmart's price of $20.50 with free delivery, or Target's price of $16.99 with free shipping on orders over $35 or free ship to store. My friends say "Oh, that isn't the normal price. They raise the shelf prices when they have a BOGO Free sale." I don't know if that's true, but who wants to do business with a dishonest store if it is, or a ridiculously overpriced store if it isn't? Either way, they're insanely expensive, and for no good reason. Due to their size and density in this region (their home's in Woonsocket, Rhode Island), they have the clout to get good prices from their vendors (and you know they do), so why don't they pass these savings on to their customers? It's not like CVS employees are making a living wage (which I would then support)... I'm going to be skipping their store for any and everything, especially our Vitamin E purchases. I am writing this to worn people listen PLEASE pay attention to your prescriptions coming from this pharmacy they have made numerous mistakes in the past but yesterday was a very serious one. I picked up my monthly script and and I am taking the MAX daily allowance of 300 mg of this medication the script was written 1 pill once a day. But the Pharmacist filled it with the instructions of 3 pills once a day 200 times the max allowed. which would cause serious problems such as death...if I was a elderly person with someone taking care of me and did not know I was only to take one and not 3... read more

OMG!! I understand the pharmacy is always busy, but this is insane. The wait time on the phone is absurd. She answered the phone, asked me what I needed, took my information, then said, hold on, I'm helping another customer, so I waited while I listened to her click around on her computer for 5 minutes, then she said, would you mind if I put you on hold??? I told her no, and she STILL put me on hold! They need to hire more people or train the people they have. Walgreens here I come! read more

Drive thru is horrible. Ashley at window was very rude and sarcastic did not appreciate it. Went to pick up our 2 prescriptions one was called in and one we dropped off at 11am and said we would be back in 2 hours so we arrived at 2pm which we actually gave them an extra hour but that prescription wasn't ready she said well we are very busy and the pharmacist has to sign off on it and not in a pleasant tone. I was not happy and said well we will be back.
