Went in for passsport photos. The website says you get Free digital copies. The digital copies later were full body and not Passport photos. Called, they tried again. No dice. Friend did the same thing. Store says its a corporate issue. EMailed Corporate a few times and nothing back.. they do not care.... I don't uually go to Walgreens and will never again for anything. Awful customer service pharmacist sucks. No customer service what so ever. They made a mistake and I have to pay for it

August 2022. I've never done a review before but i feel i must for walgreens windsor locks ct. I went today to pick up a prescription, i was told it wasn't ready, i could come back tomorrow! My dr sent it in 2 DAYS AGO!! This has happened many times in the last couple of yrs. I've waited 2-7 days for a prescrip. I would check every day but was told they're waiting on my dr to approve! Malarchy! Instead of WG calling me they just leave it in limbo in their computer. & Btw, my dr did approve 6 days prior!! I love the store but the pharmacy needs help! If there was a way to put negative stars I would. My neighbor is 85 and can't walk that far she uses a walker but she is not able to breathe if she walks far. She went to this store and the pharmacy pick up is "closed". I have issues walking as well but this was the next day, and she was out of her script. I went there and again the pick up window is closed. So I go inside and have to walk all the way to the back of the store, there are 10 people in line. Every person is pissed off and complaining to each other on how they are switching pharmacy's. The scripts that were promised to people were not ready and they were told 2 days prior it would be done. After a 45 min wait, and I sat because I can't stand for that long, I was supposed to pick up 4 scripts. There was only 2 ready. The person working is rude and tells people if you don't like it here go to CVS. This is the worst store I have ever been in. Can't wait to have to go and pick up the other two scripts that hopefully will be done. Oh and call them? No because you are left on hold for over an hour and no one ever picks up. They need to get new management in this store or shut it down. read more

I've never written a review before but I feel I have to for this Walgreens. Please just save yourself time and frustration and just go to a different pharmacy. I could write for pages to explain how bad this pharmacy is. I have never seen anything like it. The first couple of times they messed up on my prescription (it's the same prescription I get once a month and never changes) - I had given them the benefit of the doubt, but they finally messed it up so bad that I will never go there or to another Walgreens ever again. They usually do not have my medication in stock, so they will give me a partial fill until the rest of the medication comes in. One issue is they keep forgetting to fill the rest of my medication. More than once, they have given my medication to someone else and had to reorder more for me once they realized what they did so I was out of medication for a couple of days. Again, I could write for days on how bad this place is. I finally learned my lesson and switched pharmacies. There is a CVS right down the road from this store so if the location is convenient for you, just use the CVS. read more

The pharmacist/manager of pharmacy is just the nicest person and most efficient employee! She gave me pointers to prevent later injection site pain and I didn't even feel the shot as it went in! She's got great "bedside manner" and I had no wait. I usually go to competitors for pharmacy and vaccinations but I switched today due to this one having better availability. I would totally recommend this location for a seamless (and painless) experience. read more

This Walgreens is a nightmare! Spent 45 minutes on hold for the second day in a row only to have the call disconnected so I had to drive there to ask them why my rx was "in process" for 4 days, not to mention they are always understaffed! I will unfortunately have to switch to cvs read more

Walgreens pharmacy in Windsor Locks CT needs some serious help. If you can't serve the customers, do us all a favor and close. I called for my 95 year old mother to see if the prescription was ready (her dr called it in the day before). I was on hold listening to the same recording for 25 minutes. After that period of time, the call was disconnected. I got in my car and drove there. I was told the script is not ready and was asked if I could come back in the afternoon. I said, NO, my mom needs this now (blood pressure meds). So I sat there for 15 minutes and waited for the script. This has happened too many times. No one answers the phone. We are switching to Walmart. read more

Made an appointment at 12:15 for a flu shot at 1:30. They took me exactly on time. [I did this after having an appointment at CVS earlier in the day and being told they didn't have any vaccine and I should have called (even though I got a reminder e-mail yesterday)]. Definitely switching pharmacies. read more

Needed assistance. The manager on duty (name tag: Heather) wouldn't give me the time of day. She insisted she was helping "other customers", though she was alone. I watched her walk away and watched her do nothing. Eventually she came back and, without saying a word, provided some minimal assistance before silently moving away again, but in no hurry. She displayed a total lack of customer service, professionalism and common courtesy. I've been in that store before and the other personnel I've interacted with are okay, though I've found the levels of social ability are mixed. Honestly, with CVS right up the street, you'd think they'd be interested in cultivating some sort of customer relationship. read more

So my veterinarian called in a prescription here for my dog Monday morning around 9 am. When I got out of work around 615 I called to see if it was ready and how much it was. I was told by the pharmacist that it wasn't ready because the Dr. Wanted the directions to say 1/2-1 capsule 2-3 times daily. Now I fully understand why they couldn't dispense the medication with those directions that's not my complaint. My complaint is the pharmacist also told me that the am pharmacist put it off for the pm pharmacist to take care of. Well it was 615 when I called. So no one bothered to call my vets office or me to take care of this issue. So In The mean time my dog had to suffer in pain for a night because one person decided to leave it for another person to do and in turn that person clearly had no intention of taking care of it. So I'm just curious... If this medication were prescribed for an actual human and not a dog would it have been put off all day with out a care? I find this very un acceptable! read more
