This store needs the new touch screen Lotto machines that dont break down nearly as often as these dinosaurs ! 2 trips in a row I've stopped here to buy Lotto and their machine was down for the count - unacceptable!

I stopped by this CVS store this morning because I wanted to get a soda to drink. I parked at the parking lot behind this CVS because it's in a big plaza with a lot of parking spots. I walked into this CVS from Ventura since I was walking around the area. The soda fridge is right there near that entrance so I was able to find what I was looking for. They had a deal if you buy 2 soda bottles so that's what I did. I also saw they have a decent amount of energy drink and carry the ZOA Energy drink I prefer. The store is a decent size and looks like it's organized well.

I like CVS in general. They got to be a national chain by doing things right. They have an amazing selection of all the things you expect to find in a Southern California drug store. Their pharmacy department is well staffed and the staff is very knowledgeable if you have questions or need information. Check out is easy and before you know it, you're on your way to your next errand. They aren't perfect (their cash register receipts are too, too long) but if you need what a drug stores carry, you'll do okay by going here.

CVS Studio City Volume 2... Just as nice as the CVS literally across the street, but with a slightly smaller scaled layout. The customer service is pleasant and they stay pretty clean. The parking situation isn't too bad either though in a very much more shared parking lot with several neighboring businesses. I mainly stop in for small items or lotto needs as they are conviently located near the Ventura Blvd side entrance and makes for an easy in and out if purchasing a scratcher or a Mega (so high right now)!

The parking lot alone will stop you from going inside. You are greeted by several homeless people, dirty trash everywhere, bottles, needles, rugs, wood and I can go on and on. This place is disgusting! I have added pictures too! Maybe the owner of the lot needs to hire some cleaning crew because myself, my family, and coworkers are fed up! There is another CVS across the street and it's much cleaner over there.

Newly renovated pharmacy. Beautiful job CVS Studio City!

I thought maybe Walgreens might have it. Walked in yesterday, and no greeting until I approached the gentlemen in the photo area, and he said whatever that they had was in that section. Small selection in their Christmas decorations/ornaments isle. Couldn't find any type of Santa Claus. I guess Santa is still stuck in the North Pole. They were about to close, so I browsed the isles to see if I could find anything else. I got 2 beautiful, festive, Christmas oval shaped paper plates that came in count of 8 in each pack. Was on sale for $2.39 for each pack. Original price was $4.78. So I grabbed them. Also, got 2 Twix candy bars. Was also on sale; 2 for $2.50. Opened one and inhaled it w/out chewing first:-)) not joking! Employees were tired, I guess it was the end of their day, and they were in a hurry to go home. Raven was my cashier, rang me up, and I was the last customer to leave the store. They close at 10pm. Store was clean, except the bathroom. Toilet was not flushed, small little toilet papers were here and there, and the trash was pretty full. All of the isles were nicely stocked, items facing us, and a lot of sale items for the Holidays. Plenty of parking spaces.

I have been going to this particular CVS pharmacy for over 35 years to be exact. Not ONCE did I have a problem with any of their employees or pharmacists!! Over the years people came and left, but the customer service remains EXCELLENT, EXCEPTIONAL & FLAWLESS!! From picking up medication, to dropping off prescriptions, consulting information pertaining to any type of medication, or issues/allergies, side affects. They are hands on and SPOT ON! They will even get in contact by calling or emailing your doctor within minutes. I can't mention any particular staff member, since they are ALL SO GREAT!! I even got flu/shingles shots and they work like a PRO! They are fast, quick, nice, patient, helpful, professional, efficient, courteous, and they all work hard to satisfy everybody's needs. There is always a long line, but their fully stocked employees clear that line in less than 15 minutes. They almost have all medications/vaccines on their shelves; most of the time. I mean you are dealing with people's health. Their automated service is prompt, messages are returned on timely manner, transactions are always completed w/out any glitches. And they truly are the BEST! Plenty of parking shared with so many other businesses. If I could give this pharmacy/staff 10 SOLID STARS, then I would! Keep up the good work... employees at CVS Pharmacy!:-))))) Thank you for serving me and my loved ones for decades!!

Because he's a small puppy we need a very specific dose of epinephrine, which most mainstream pharmacies don't carry. I visited Toluca Pharmacy for the first time yesterday. We were so relieved to hear they had the correct dosage we were looking for! Everything was going great until we were about to pay, when a lady from the back room informed us that the vial they had was glass and we would need to find special syringes with filters (which they did not have in stock) before they would sell us the epinephrine. Additionally, they wanted to check with our vet before selling us the drug. Fine. After getting a green light from my vet the next day, my partner went back to Toluca Pharmacy to pick up the vial. Not only did they not allow him into the pharmacy, but they actually told him that they were closed indefinitely, not knowing when they would reopen. Weird, considering there were about 5 people working inside. I decided to call them an hour later to see what was going on, and on the phone they told me they were open until 6... UNTIL they realized who was calling, and they quickly changed their response to "closed until further notice." The lady on the phone was extremely vague and rude, showing no remorse for the fact that the drug she was refusing me could potentially save my dogs life. I will not be going back to this pharmacy, as both my partner and I got very uncomfortable vibes from this experience.

I always take advantage of their free delivery, which is great. I've been having these three prescriptions delivered for a year now without a problem. So, I go to my CVS account online to schedule the delivery. But for the first time, it says I have to talk to a pharmacist about one of them and answer some questions, after which they can deliver. Check. I call. After a few minutes on hold, I get some young woman who sounds like she's fifteen. Check. I said what questions do you have. She says something that makes no sense to me, but I answer all her questions and there were a lot. Check. Mind you, I have never had to answer questions before. Check. She verifies my address and says it will be delivered today. Fine. I ask if there's a window of delivery time, which there always is, as you have to be here to accept the delivery. She gets very irritated and nothing she's saying is making sense to me. Check. I finally get so frustrated that I say, "I'm speaking English here - I know I have to be here for the delivery and am just looking for a window - I've done this many times." Click. She hangs up on me. Check. I get a text saying they have my order and there's a link so I figure my time window will be there. But it wants a code they say is in an email they've sent. No email was sent. Check. So, I just figure it will show up when it shows up or I'll call in the morning. So, I'm about to go to bed when I decide to check on the original link I was sent. And what do I find? This young person has totally and obviously on purpose changed me to a shipment, meaning they mail it and I don't get it until Saturday. Not acceptable. It's two-thirty in the morning at this point - this store is twenty-four hours. So, I call. No one answers - for fifteen minutes. I call and get someone from the front of store and she informs me they're on their lunch break for thirty-five minutes. I decide to drive over there and just pick it up and so I can tell someone what happened. I get there. They're on their lunch until three-thirty. I decide to wait. I'm then told that their system is updating and won't be finished until four-thirty. I still wait. They finally open a window - well, "they" being one newbie who just started to work there. I tell him what happened - he's new - he hasn't a clue as to what I'm going on about. I tell him I just either want to pick it up now or have it delivered but the system is down and there's nothing he can do about it. I will remind at this point that we're talking about MEDICATION here. That someone needs. I may call over there in twenty minutes to see if their system has updated and if he can stop the shipment and deliver. At this point, if they can't stop the shipment they're gonna just have to do it all over again and deliver or, I suppose, I'll drive over there. I wrote a five-star review and noted that all the one-star reviews, of which there are MANY, seemed to be about the pharmacy there. Again, usually I set up the delivery online so I don't deal with them - very simple and works efficiently. But the young jerk who hung up on me? And then changed everything in the system to totally screw up everything on purpose. I don't wish anyone ill, but she should be fired. Sadly, as is obvious, no one from corporate OR this branch of CVS reads the comments. I'll do another update when all this is resolved. EDIT: I finally got someone on the phone at nine the next morning - she was appalled at what happened, cancelled the to be shipped order, scheduled the free delivery order, which arrived thirty minutes later. Thank heaven for a professional. Turns out she knew exactly who'd been the initial problem as they had two pharmacists out and had to bring in two new people. I don't like to get people in trouble, but if you're clearly out of your league, just get someone who knows how it works. I suspect she'll at least be talked to and since they record all calls I suggested they just listen to the call.

Never again. While I'm sure their pharmacist are lovely people, they're way too overworked by their corporate masters to learn anybody individually, and the wait time was always ridiculous. The nurses do an amazing job at keeping our two young children calm while they administer the shots (all the free candy & books & toys don't hurt). We're really appreciative of how well they manage what is such a scary event for so many kids. The location itself is quite small and they are doing their best to maximize their space which means outside of the room where they give the shots, there isn't a ton of space to walk around or even shop between aisles. But that's fine. If you're here to just put in or pick up a prescription it shouldn't be an issue. And both times we've made appointments ahead of time so we didn't have to wait for long.
