Lucia using an in-house communication system notified another clerk who found and brought it to me. I also found out that it was buy one and get one free when she was researching for the product on the Walgreen website. I had to shop for other items so Lucia took the vitamins to the register for safe keeping. My mobility is compromised so I really appreciate the extra help. Lucia's kindness makes me want to make this Walgreen as my go to store. She really gave me concierge quality service and thoughtfulness. 5 stars to Lucia!

I needed some feminine care products, couple of drinks, 3 vitamins, shampoo, bath tissue, conditioner, dish soap couple of sponges, toothpaste and toothbrush. Out of the 10 items, I only got 6. I was still grateful, because I mostly needed the feminine products and they had them in stock. Store is not well organized and a lot of things are missing from the aisles/shelves. Store was clean and they didn't let me use the restroom, telling me to go next door to Habit restaurant, knowing and seeing the sign for the restrooms. Prices are fair, I have been a customer of CVS for literally 35 plus years and we get their promotional coupons in the mail. Comes very handy on a BIG purchase. When it was time to check out, I had to wait in line, because the cashier was M.I.A. Once he returned, he didn't even acknowledge me by saying hello or something.. They close at 5:00 on weeknights, at 3:00 on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays. However, they make up for this by offering free home delivery, which is sooo convenient! If I need a prescription filled on the weekend (only once, so far), I have it sent to one of the chain pharmacies. I highly recommend Oaks Community Pharmacy!

This CVS is good for quick essential needs, but as they carry about 1/3 of what a normal store would. While this location stays super clean... don't bank on getting everything you need in one trip. The last few times we came in... a lot of the snacks and beverages were very low... which is a let down if you're heading by on your way home, after the gym or to pick up a prescription. They do have some great markdown/closeout/clearance items here, but they seem to go very fast which makes the shelves feel empty in a lot of spots. The first aid supplies are limited and the company brand products aka the better deals seem to be the least available in terms of quantity. The pharmacy is pretty solid... however doesn't keep the best available hours... only 10am to 6pm as this is a low foot traffic location... though they are close to regular... most stay open from 9 to 7 Note: this is not a 24hour cvs location however they are open from 8am until 10pm every day. Overall it's a solid location and the closest one to me so hopefully it will only evolve with time and as it becomes more frequently shopped.

I don't have much more to add that still isn't true from my glowing review the other day. I want to share a story that happened on my last monthly fill. J thought I lost my medication and so I rushed back and told him that I think I left my bag of all my medications sitting on my hood. He asked me where I parked and said he would look. I didn't park in the garage. The man works all day long and gets up and does it the next day, day after day. I would think he has been doing this long enough tbat he could retire if he wanted to. Over the years, he's off had a "not accepting new patients" sign because he doesn't want to leave his patients waiting and there is always a steady flow BUT I don't think I've ever waited more than 15 minutes. His business is run to perfection from my perspective and back to the leaving my meds on the cat story, when I get there he is looking around the area across the street where I told him I parked on Riverside. I got there and took over but I couldn't believe when I saw the man after whither very bad days work looking for my screw up. Turns out it somehow got hidden at my house (no doubt a symptom of the medications I need to stay sane). Trade off I suppose but I just love him. I think of hIm as family. Sort of ab uncle or something. Have no mistake about it. His kindness, and heart is understated by his personality which on first glance might lead you to believe he's cold and a little flippant even. It's a rouse. He's one of the nicest men in the business of life and importantly since he runs a pharmacy , he's the best pharmacist I know. In case it's not clear, I adore and love him. Truly. This is my second review. Mg last one was in 2014 and I had said then, "I can't believe I wanted nearly a decade to say how awesome this place is (Key)". He doesn't charge what the chains charge when there is no insurance coverage almost ever and I mean not even close. My 2014 review still stands strong but I wanted to say that if you count that decade and the time until now I've been coming here for over 15 years and I think closer to 20 so I'm an expert on all things Key. If you want a good pharmacy and you hate chains, you can't beat this place. Thank you Ira for the amazing service. I, with very little exception, give bad reviews because I hate Yelp. I don't like ruining businesses because maybe they have a bad day. I don't think in all my time coming here that has happened once. If my review seems over the top, it's because my feelings about this pharmacy are. I never knew I could like a place where I get my medication so much but it's beyond reasonable and Ira is the icing on the cake. I had a digital coupon for the pill and I wanted to use it but this young man, did not even try to read the instructions on the coupon itself. He quickly wanted to dismiss my request without even reading it all the way. He didn't want to read it period. Lazy and not helpful at all. I was not asking you to put in any numbers, simply read the instructions on the coupon and follow the prompts, but since you saw a line forming, you decided to dismiss it by saying "it doesn't work" I was annoyed and i wanted to get out of there rather than deal with a lazy worker.

When she finally lets me in, I stood there inside for about 2-3 minutes before she even acknowledged me and I said "I'm here to pick up." Her reply: "pick up what?" .... A prescription? Seems like a redundant question to ask someone what they are picking up at a pharmacy. My prescription had been called into this pharmacy days beforehand and someone from the pharmacy called me so I knew they were on some level aware of the prescription. I gave her my name and she said there was nothing for me there. I said "my doctor called this in a few days ago and I was called by the pharmacy, so not sure what happened." She then proceeds to smirk at me and go "I have nothing here for you." It's inconsequential and I will go elsewhere but I've never had someone be so rude just for trying to pick up at a pharmacy. GO ELSEWHERE FOLKS!

They are so easy to open with one pop but for children it would be very hard to understand how to open the pill bottle. I definitely recommend this company.
