I wanted this to be a slam dunk. It was rough. When you come in there shelves are empty and disheveled. It looks like there was a storm warning or something and people scrambled to buy everything. The man helping me had a different file and asked me if my birth year was correct, 1948.....he was about 40 years off. These are who are filling your prescriptions and making sure you're getting the right medicine. I called ahead for a transfer and when arrived 30 minutes later, they hadn't called the other pharmacy. The pharmacy is very disorganized. There's a really nice woman working there who seems to hold down the fort, but besides that it's a zoo. They were very nice which always makes it hard to review, but they've got to get it together to retain customers

Palmer Professional Pharmacy is a hidden gem in Greenwich, located at 49 Lake Street in a small…read moremedical building behind Greenwich Hospital. the parking is great. The pharmacist, Lou, and all of his colleagues are caring, compassionate and professional in every sense of the word. It must be hard in some ways to compete with huge chain stores, but what you get with a smaller independently owned pharmacy is a uniquely personal touch. When you call or come into the store, they know you and ask about your family. When they have had a family misfortune or loss, your caring and concern is returned to them because they have become not only essential service providers, but friends that you care about. Palmer Professional Pharmacy also does drug-compounding, and what is so important to my husband and I is that they provide and make up compounded, and chicken-flavored medications that my pet and former pets have needed. If you need something special fir you or your pet, they will order it for you, including over-the-counter products. Dr. Stephanie Paulmeno, Public Health Nurse

When I turned my back, she started talking badly about me to another customer and laughed with said customer while making fun of me. The staff in the pharmacy taking and filling prescriptions for the most part are passive and shouldn't be in an industry which serves patients. They don't notify / communicate with patients when they need to. I've had situations when they couldn't fill a pre-surgery prescription and failed to let me know. I had to call in days later to find out and then come into the pharmacy in person. No notifications by phone, text or app either. When I brought this up, the girl behind the counter got nasty and made me wait in line for an hour while she did absolutely nothing to fill my prescription. I eventually contacted CVS Caremark and they told me this should never have happened to me and they ended up contacting the pharmacy directly to have my prescription filled.
