This store is a much needed addition to the Harbor Point neighborhood. My wife and I walk here whenever we need something from the store. The staff in the pharmacy taking and filling prescriptions for the most part are passive and shouldn't be in an industry which serves patients. They don't notify / communicate with patients when they need to. I've had situations when they couldn't fill a pre-surgery prescription and failed to let me know. I had to call in days later to find out and then come into the pharmacy in person. No notifications by phone, text or app either. When I brought this up, the girl behind the counter got nasty and made me wait in line for an hour while she did absolutely nothing to fill my prescription. I eventually contacted CVS Caremark and they told me this should never have happened to me and they ended up contacting the pharmacy directly to have my prescription filled. read more

Consistenly the least helpful team of pharmacy staff. They are unfriendly and quck to say no rather then find a solution. Clearly, no one hold them accountable as they are well known for poor customer service. read more

1. They rarely answer the phone in the Pharmacy Dept. 2. The workers in the pharmacy often have negative attitudes. 3. Pharmacy hours say 8am, not 8:10am. Got passport photos, flu shot, and shopping all done with such ease, I was already thrilled with this CVS. Then I lost my keys and started to panic thinking I was stranded in CT (from NJ), and the staff especially Maria took the time to check cameras and search the store to help me retrieve them. Called twice to check in a prescription and after struggling through the automated voicemail for 20 mins and listening to music, someone picked up the phone and hung up on me TWICE. I made a quick run in for basic items and the prices are incredibly marked up. Better off going on Amazon if you can wait for shipping or going to Walmart in Norwalk if you need basic things. I haven't used the pharmacy, but I was easily able to navigate the OTC section. Last time I went here in May they didn't have Apple Pay, but now they do which is a huge plus. This CVS could be better in terms of friendlier prices, but other then that it's just okay. read more

Just bad. If you're getting a Covid test make sure you get there 30 minutes before your scheduled time bc you will be waiting THAT LONG to even be seen. I don't think I've ever waited less than 20 min for a prescription or a test. And they don't even apologize for the wait time. I understand it can be overwhelming but at least COMMUNICATE. People will be sitting at the window for 30 min, insane. Go somewhere else for your pharmacy needs bc this is just comical. read more

I don't comprehend why people expect 5 star restaurant treatment when I'm pretty sure the staff is overworked, underpaid and obviously under appreciated (as you can tell by the reviews.) Yeah, there are wait times occasionally but it's more of a minor inconvenience and not anything serious to fuss over. The staff are helpful and I overall enjoy shopping at the location. I've been going to this CVS every week for two years. Both the store and the pharmacy are fine and there's nothing wrong with them. I don't know what people expect of a drug store, but 1- and 2-star reviews that say things like "cash register people act like they're doing us a favor by selling us things" or refer to how they got their feelings hurt when buying toilet paper... not really indicative or helpful. read more

The days of the neighborhood pharmacy are sadly over and we are all stuck dealing with CVS and Walgreen's. Filling a prescription at CVS is not easy and the lack of systems integration between neighboring CVS stores does not create confidence that the Aetna merger will weave together a good system. I went to get a Tylenol with Codeine script filled this afternoon after seeing doc for bad cough. This CVS told me they were out of the medication but would have next week! Geez, how helpful is that? I told them I hoped to be healthy by then and needed the meds now. I asked them to call other CVS Pharmacies in area and sure enough they found one that had. Now one would think/hope that while a pain in the rear, this could be a smooth process going forward but no chance. This is CVS, a small company of nearly 10,000 stores and over 200,000 employees! No way this could be easy. As it turns out, this CVS could not call the other to request the prescription they should easily have been able to fill. I needed to call my doctor again an ask him to call it in! Talk about pathetic. I'm lucky I went to pharmacy early enough to still reach my doctor. I went to the next CVS, waited on line for too long and watched the woman search all over for my prescription. I asked her if Tylenol with Codeine was a popular scrip and if she was surprised the CVS on Canal Street was out and she said yes. Soooo the message here is try to avoid ever getting sick, sell your CVS stock and use when necessary, do not assume they will have your scrip, bring reading material or make sure your phone is charged while you wait on line and thanks to all who played a role in leaving the consumer with CVS and Walgreen's. Stopped in for Halloween candy for a care package I need to send out. The price rang up incorrectly. Cashier acted like she was doing me a huge favor by honoring the posted price. She actually removed the posted sale price off the shelf so that the store will no longer have to honor it. read more

Hands down the worst CVS (specifically the pharmacy) I've ever been to in my life. They are completely incompetent and I'm not sure why, I've never seen any other CVS Pharmacy's run their business like this one. The service is awful, most visits you wait well over 30 minutes to pick up a prescription. The drive thru option equally as bad as going in. Horrific wait times for the pharmacy, prescriptions are never ready have waited an hour plus in line multiple times. They need more staff or need to figure out how to be more efficient it's horribly run and cvs clearly doesn't give a shit about patients. read more

I don't know who runs this pharmacy but they need to know how incompetent their' staff is. My Dr. Prescribed me an inhaler for a certain dosage which was different from my previous. I had refills on my previous dosage that I was picking up plus the new one I was just prescribed. The dumb pharmacist told me it wasn't the same and he couldn't give it to me and that he'd have to call the Dr. to make sure it was right...YOU'RE NOT MY Dr. give me my medication and that's it. Im not getting narcotics here. It's my inhaler so I can breathe and stay alive. Who do you think you are????? Another time I was asked if I wanted to use my member card number for points towards $5 off my prescriptions and the lady told me to hit no and when I found out what it was after I listened to her, I wanted to redo it. She rolled her eyes and gave me a hard time about redoing it when she couldn't figure out how. You don't know what my financial situation is and if it's going to help me save 5 bucks and it takes 5 minutes of your precious time then so be it! You're employees are LAZY! No one ever answers the phone! What if I have questions about my medication???? Or if my prescription is ready or how many I have left or I dont know the prescription number ??? I have to sit on the phone for 20 mi utes before it is answered!!!! I was told today was the last day I can pick my medication up. I go there and where is it? They restocked it on the shelf even though I had until today to get it. Idk how else to say this but this CVS SUCKSSS AND SO DOES THE STAFF IN THE PHARMACY. Look at all the reviews on here... if you work here and your reading this you should seriously consider another career. Why did you take this job as a pharmacist??? Ordered a same day photo online, and the email confirmation said come the next day. So I give this place a call, and the nice man said "Oh, it is printing now. You can come pick it up and I'll be here to give you the photo." So I show up, and they say "It's not ready yet." I do some shopping, come back, and now they say "The printer is broken, and someone has to fix it." Someone attempts to fix it for 5 minutes, and then another worker says we are too busy to fix that, and tells him he has to go back to his register. So I continue to wait for an HOUR while FOUR workers check people out at the register and ZERO workers care that I am sitting there waiting for my photo. Worst customer service experience. The person I am assuming was the manager seemed to care the least. This happened the evening of 2/13/18, if anyone cares to look into it. read more

Pharmacy is bad - they don't seem to get any of my prescriptions right and have a very bad attitude toward addressing their own issues.

Zero stars for the manager, Mack! He has no customer service qualities at all! He was rude and argumentative. A rack in the front of the store full of winter hats, glove and scarves had a big yellow sale sign stating 90% off "select winter items-not marked clearance". I picked three items for kids. As I was on my way to the register, the cashier told me the items I had in my hands would not come up at the sale price;even though they were not marked as clearance. She said this had happened to others already. I asked to speak to a manager. Mack arrived and was so rude. He could not explain which items should or should not be at 90% off..."it's whatever comes up in the computer". I asked then why keep all of these winter items on the rack with the sign? He then ripped the sign off and told the cashier "she can have two". I had chosen three. When the cashier went to ring me out, of course, the discount would not come up. Mack and another nice young fellow, I believe his name was Kevin, came over. Mack said disgustedly..."I said only two!" In the end, between the nice cashier and Kevin, I made my purchase of three winter items (ps it is like 70 degrees here today). Mack could have gone about this in a whole different way...but I don't think he has a clue. read more
