A family member of mine was in desperate need of medical equipment a few months ago, and Collins was literally the only company (out of 5 total!) that took my urgent phone call during the late afternoon hours. Furthermore, I was pleasantly surprised by how kind and understanding their employees were on the phone. I had been very distressed about my ill family member when I first called, and the Collins staff was very patient and supportive of me during that difficult time. Collins also rushed the delivery of the equipment, set it up for my family member, and taught them how to use it. Because of their unwilliness to fix my mother's "allegedly" brand new hospital bed which has a bad remote, the first three weeks of her stay in her new facility, had her frustrated because the bed was not consistently working. They sent 3 different people out to claim it was working. I sent them video when it wasn't. Jordan the supervisor literally said he was not going to replace it. THis was after my mother's broken leg surgery. He did not care. She regularly could not sit up in her bed because it would not go up and if she needed to leave the bed it would not go down. One night she fell all the way out of the bed. Still Jordon said nothing was wrong with it. I reported to CMS Medicare and spoke to the contractor Adepthealth (who were lovely). After a couple weeks, a new bed arrived and it was delivered with kindess by Diya who was nothing like any of the other fruitcakes I worked with at CSS including Jordan and Javier. It took 3 weeks and I can't tell you how many hours on my part to resolve an issue that should have been completed in 20 minutes. It took me to figure out what was wrong mechanically with the bed. I am a therapist. And still they did nothing, I think their egos were hurt. My mother was thrown off at her new facility for weeks because they didn't care. She fell and easily could have rebroken her leg. And Jordan actually spoke to me with such disdain and ignorance, STAY AWAY! They will respond they have a video. Yes dears. I do too and you were so obnoxious it took the business you contract with to fix it. Google reviews are 1 star, with comments saying they wish they could have left zero.

When we arrived, there was a sign that said closed due to renovating.. Fortunately, there were 2 women sitting out front, one taller woman who was in her approximate 60s and an older woman sitting around 80 years old. My wife approached both ladies and explained we had a couple of items to donate. The woman in her "60's" immediately in a loud offensive manner said WE'RE CLOSED, WE'RE RENOVATING!!!! AND WE DON'T TAKE THINGS ON FRIDAYS. My wife told her the website says you take things On Fridays. The lady in her 60s turned her back on my wife and walked away.
