It's your average CVS. They have self help kiosks which is always a bonus. Overall, really liked this location only because the COVID vaccination was a BREEZE.

At the pharmacy, they assist you but are not particularly friendly. At the store checkout, there is rarely an employee present. People mostly use the self check out. Clearly, there are serious issues at this store that need to be addressed. One solution is to send customers to the other CVS down the street because they are way over their service capacity. A separate solution is to take all those who formerly worked the front POS but because they have customers now working for them as their own cashiers, they can reallocate them to the pharmacy. Do something and the attitudes need to change dramatically.

So I remember when there were no chain pharmacies -- no names, please! -- and the sort of personal service those privately-owned establishments offered. I step into Achorn's and back to 1965 -- without the soda fountain, which I must admit I miss. They know my name; they know the medications I take; with a glance at the computer they know which ones have no refills left and happily contact the doctors themselves to get a renewal. If they don't have my medication in stock, they get it within 12 to 24 hours. When special situations arrive, like an extended vacation, they work the insurance company angles to get what I need to be covered during a long absence. In short, I can't imagine how they could be any better! And if you're buying medications covered by insurance, the prices are exactly the same at those larger locations. So please don't go there if you don't already because right now the worst line I experience is one person in front of me!
