She looked at my daughters eyes for two seconds and said her balance was off, even though the PT's said she was average to above average on her balance. In addition, Dr. Ryan tried to give her a base line assessment after a concussion???You are better off going to an MD that specializes in concussion and neurology.

The center has a team including a nurse practitioner, pediatric neuropsychologist, rehabilitation physical therapists, psychologists, and consulting neurologist. My kids were referred by my pediatrician. My older child suffers from ADHD and anxiety. Ellen has an expertise in ADHD and concussions, so she was perfect for treating him. He had testing done by a neuropsychologist because computer tests like imPACT weren't the right test to use for him. This helped to let the school know what they needed to do to help him. He was treated by the rehabilitation specialist named Olga located at Greenwich Hospital who works with Dr. Fahey and she was excellent. Everyone at the center really cared about my kids getting better. And getting them back to playing as soon as it was safe for them. Other friends have gone to other places and their kids took a lot longer than my kids did to recover. And they only use imPACT testing, which we learned isn't good for all kids.

A week and a half later my knee still didn't feel right. I made an appointment to go to Dr. Cavallo. He was real thorough. After he did the test. He diagnosed me with a torn meniscus in my right knee, he even said you can get a second opinion if I would like. He does a lot of them, he him self has even had the surgery. I was very surprised since Stamford hospital was so off with my diagnosis. Dr. Cavallo actually did my surgery and I was very nervous because this was my first surgery. He put me at ease and did my surgery perfectly. Recovery was long and one of the toughest things I've had to do through no fault of his. I also started physical therapy in the same office with James Caroleo and he and his team who have also been wonderful. I would highly recommended Dr. Cavallo office for your orthopedic needs.

Always smiling and glowing she's a trip and have always ensured surgery dates are set and all documents are in order. Doc had performed two surgeries on me in the last few years. (Right shoulder repair, left knee arthroscopy). I enjoy coming in to see Doc as he answers all my questions and is extremely thorough. We have always talked all options prior to surgery and I have never not felt comfortable with his opinions. He's got a great personality, is super friendly and I have recommended him to many of friends and loved ones. There are plenty of doctors out there who may get the job done, but if you want to feel like you truly matter and that you are in good hands......there's only one thing to do.....call Doc today and you will understand exactly what I mean. He was thorough in his explanation of what was happening and what the best path forward was. He explained and used the MRI's to show me exactly what was going on and where. He made sure I understood how to best care for my injury and what not to do. The follow up phone call from Dr. Martins was also very comforting and informative. He gave a detailed explanation of how my situation usually occurs what his concerns would be if I wasn't showing improvement and timetable to check back in and see where I am at in a few days. He alleviated my concerns and made sure I was clear on everything before we hung up. The last minute scheduling to fit me in was awesome. I LOVE how quickly phone calls are returned. PT is great for many injuries but not for all. PT usually won't make things worse and this company…read moreuses that to their advantage. The seemingly underlying goal of this company is to get patients to keep coming and fill the appt book. For me, they were light on dealing the root cause and just kept me you doing their exercises. This was never going to eliminate my problem. So I found a medical massage company in the same complex and in 3 sessions my problem was remarkably better. (They said that they get people from PT all the time). If PT works for you keep doing it. But if it's like filling a swimming pool one drop at a time, look elsewhere. This PT facility is run by mostly very young, new therapists. They execute well, but experienced medical oversight is lacking. The paperwork is typical of a big outfit like HSS - took over 30 minutes of my time to answer their overly complex medical assessment. Then when I saw the therapist, he hadn't even looked at it, based on the questions he asked me. Totally disrespectful of patients' time. I hate it when companies abuse you for their own benefit and care more about their needs and time than yours. And we are the customer! They aggressively try to book appts before you walk out the door. I have been to better PT operations.
