My reprieve from frustration, disappointment and feeling like a number concluded when I made my first phone call to the Yale Fertility Center of Westport. Christine communicated to me from the get go that I would receive a more personal touch and proved that at my first appointment. Perhaps even earlier that that when I think back. You see my appointment was made for the following week, yet I received a phone call from Dr. Seifer on a Saturday afternoon. He called to introduce himself and ask questions for our upcoming appointment in preparation of my complicated history. Dr. Seifer has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is thorough when explaining the process, procedures and expected outcomes. He has a sweet demeanor and is the upmost professional. Patricia O'Neill, Nurse Practioner is a dream come true. She is detail oriented and is understanding of how overwhelming the process can be. She stands by her words when she says she is always available to answer questions and gets the process moving. The office staff and nursing staff was just as amazing - from getting insurance information completed and approved to having blood work done without the feel of the needle! As a RN, I know how important it is to have good, quality care. Regardless of if we become pregnant or not, it doesn't matter. What matters to me is that the person I choose to take care of me makes me feel like they care. And that, that is exactly how I felt when I got off the phone with Dr. Seifer that Saturday afternoon. Happily, I continued to feel that way every time I interact with the staff in the comfort of the Westport office.

We are physicians, specialized staff, and scientists who have dedicated our life's work to improving your chance for fertility. But infertility is a complex, stressful, and often time-consuming problem. Men and women new to the problem are sometimes prepared for the physical procedures they will have to undergo, but often don't realize how emotionally difficult the process can be. Sometimes one partner is more devoted to the process than the other; sometimes infertility treatments can stretch on for months and become financially draining; and sometimes people experiencing infertility end up feeling alone and isolated, even from those who love them the most. That's why we are here--because we've been through it before, and we are here to help you through it, too. There are moral, ethical and scientific dilemmas that can be easy or difficult to resolve. Our shared communication through the process, and our continuous psychological support, helps you to overcome each step and gain perspective on why each person's experience is different. The warm welcome meant a lot when going through my first round of IVF. I had completed 4 rounds of IUI with another fertility specialist and was feeling down about my chances of ever getting pregnant. I can honestly say that YFC's positivity and professionalism was critical to my success. After 1 round of IVF I am now 10 weeks pregnant! The Westport facility provides patients' access to Yale medical care closer to home, yet I still benefited from the renowned embryology lab at the Yale Fertility Center in New Haven. The Westport office is beautiful and I never have to wait long to be seen. I would not waste any time in setting up an appointment if you are having fertility issues. It's been over a week and we have yet to hear from her office regarding any clinical information despite numerous attempts to gain more clarity and information. Not only have I been scrambling to coordinate my Moms care, Dr Murray flat out refuses to return our calls despite the urgency of this situation. Her staff has informed us that she "does not speak to patients". Her cavalier attitude speaks volumes about her professionalism and character. This is clearly not a physician that cares about her patients. Save your time, and look elsewhere if you are seeking professional and compassionate care.

I only wish I had gone to him sooner rather than accepting the subpar treatment I had experienced at other clinics. The best thing about Dr Merhi is how accessible he is. He answers emails, usually within hours, and will always call if you need him to or there is a complex decision that needs to be made. I wish all doctors were as kind, open to new technologies (you can't find ozone therapy many places - it's a game changer) and communicative as he is. I have never truly loved a doctor like I have Dr Merhi. I also want to appreciate that he is weight neutral (no bullshit weight loss mandates or arbitrary BMI limits, just a focus on actual health and fertility status, which is so rare) and LGBTQ affirming.

And even worse when you are getting your blood drawn because it's right next to their room. They joke about "getting more money" and the worst part of that statement is that they don't cater to their patients AS THEY SHOULD. Care quality is terrible. They call with my next steps when it's too late and the pharmacy is closed. This experience is time sensitive and they don't take that seriously. Waiting time alone is about 2 hours. Even after getting my entire plan on the first visit, they asked me for my plan day before egg retrieval. Their system doesn't work and it's disappointing, considering this is a FERTILITY clinic and that's not something people should take as a joke. The Doctor is funny. But that's all the good that I've gathered from my experience here.

Dr. Hurwitz is patient, incredibly kind, and one of the most knowledgeable people I've ever met. From the beginning, he was always upfront about expectations and walked us through everything clearly and honestly, which gave us so much peace of mind. I'll never forget the moments before my egg retrieval when I was really scared -- he calmly grounded me and made me feel completely safe. In one of the most vulnerable seasons of my life, he was a rock for us. Kathy, my patient nurse, was also amazing. She answered every anxious question with patience, laughed with me, supported me, and kept me hopeful throughout the process. I never once felt like just another patient. The Danbury office team is also so great. The front desk staff were always warm and welcoming, and the financial team was transparent every step of the way. Fertility treatment is deeply personal and at times overwhelming, but I felt genuinely cared for from start to finish. I am endlessly grateful to Dr. Hurwitz, Kathy, and the entire team. Would never go elsewhere.

Every visit felt like being herded in and out... no warmth, no personalization. From day one, my doctor came across as cold, dismissive, and uninterested. We didn't feel a connection with him at all, but because we were desperate and wanted a clinic closer to home, we decided to move forward. That was a mistake. Your doctor matters more than you think. I only saw my doctor 2x out of the several visits I had there. There was no consistency or continuity... just a new face every time, none of whom took the time to explain my results or what they were seeing. Nearly every appointment ended with a nurse saying, "Your doctor will reach out," but never did. The worst part? My doctor guessed my ovulation date, got it wrong, and completely missed it during my IUI cycle. This is something so critical, and it felt careless. A nurse even told us that, we wouldn't be charged, but we were, and the finance team and doctor refused to refund us. For something so emotional, vulnerable, and life-changing, I expected care or at the very least, attention. Instead, it felt transactional, cold, and disorganized. I've already switched clinics and the difference is night and day. I finally feel seen and supported by a doctor who actually cares. Please don't make the mistake we did. Your doctor matters. Feeling heard and cared for matters.

Accident left me completely stressed, and in pain. Obviously I was seeing traditional medicine at the same time, and what started off as appointments for acne, soon turned into a loopy one year journey of nonsense. I have a torn right shoulder, a torn bicep, a torn pelvis, and PTSD. Obviously, I made my practitioner aware of these injuries and was totally into the concept of bringing down the inflammation in my body. What I really thought was the crock , was the constant supplement protocols, that led me to believe by my practitioner that I possibly could have diseases such as blood cancer ; multiple sclerosis, and many other scary, life-threatening disease diseases that honestly made me so nervous. I kept coming back. Now, those who do natural medicine could read about how this happens all the time ; you start to build a bond with your practitioner and trust them. Adjusting my stomach through a bizarre method of nonsense ended up, damaging my pelvis more ; and not only that being more ridiculous I was on a cane and dropped my phone and my practitioner couldn't even bother to pick my phone up for me even though I couldn't move my two legs. If that doesn't say a lot about a person's character, I don't know what does. Eventually, I stopped playing into the nonsense protocols that were just supplement after supplement, which were mostly placebo ; and I, stopped going, but not because I wanted to, my practitioner never reached out to me after I asked for my last visit summary notes. She blew me off like I was complete garbage ; and I don't know what naturopath gets Botox and speaks about it openly because to be honest that goes against everything they believe in, but as someone is myself, who's a little bit odd I didn't judge, but now that I reflect on the situation, I ended up with such wacky bloodwork because of all these stories, and fake diagnoses. I now have been with a spinal doctor, getting injections, seeing a primary care doctor ; back to just my sleeping medication and I moved on! I know Dr. Lewis is amazing because I've had friends who have seen her with great success, and also doctors are used in the area that recommends her to many mothers ; she should definitely be more wary of who she hires. Sidenote, I really don't think it's important to call patients from blocked numbers. It leaves the impression. The only reason you do that is because you "allegedly" are scamming people, and you don't want a way to reach your direct line. ; It's really not that hard to find somebody's number on the Internet FYI Anyway, good riddance, wish you the best
