After returning to this practice following a few months away, I was genuinely shocked by the level…read moreof unprofessionalism I encountered. Dr. P immediately made unnecessary comments about my vacation destination, revealing a surprising lack of basic geographical awareness. He then shifted into odd commentary about my birthday celebration -- remarks that were irrelevant, inappropriate, and frankly unwelcome. Throughout the appointment, Dr. P spoke far more than any chiropractor I've ever seen, and unfortunately, his conversations consistently veered into tangents that had nothing to do with chiropractic care. Many of these comments were rude, dismissive, and completely out of line for a healthcare setting. The most concerning moment occurred as I was leaving. I asked a simple question about using a foam roller for a "snowman" exercise, and he responded by accusing me of being racist -- then corrected himself and said I was being sexist for saying "snowman" instead of "snowwoman." This kind of crass, performative humor is not only unprofessional but deeply uncomfortable, especially for young women seeking care. After reading another woman's negative experience, I felt compelled to share mine. Women should be aware that this practice requires a thick skin for abrasive behavior, inappropriate commentary, and an overall lack of respect from the doctor. To make matters worse, I had even considered his referral to another chiropractor closer to my home. That experience turned out to be even worse in terms of professionalism. Based on both encounters, I do not believe these environments are safe or appropriate for young women seeking chiropractic care. Additionally, during my visit, the staff was printing hundreds of "free exam" invitations and asked me to refer friends. I called the next day and made it clear that while I am happy to recommend local contacts, the doctor's conduct must be addressed -- otherwise new patients will walk out just as I did. Although Dr. P may be technically competent, the environment he creates is unacceptable. Based on my experience and the experiences of other women, I will not return and strongly caution others -- especially young women -- before considering this practice or any referrals associated with it.

Candice is also a great communicator - she explains what she's doing, how it will feel, and what kind of results we should get. So far our results have been very good, and we're confident that she'll continue to make a big difference for us. She's also very reasonably priced (sliding scale) and that helps as well. I would definitely recommend Candice and The Wellness Haven.

She has never tested me for a fungal issue diagnosed by my lung doctor a few years ago via a Blood test. He referred me to an infectious disease doctor who never treated me since the medication was very strong and could damage my kidney. Many months after a near death experience in 2023/2024, I was still feeling pain in my liver. Dr Passalaqua was recommended and when I told her my disease doctor said my discomfort and pain would subside, she yelled at me to say "Who told you that I shouldn't experience any pain, she said it should/ could take a year and a half to heal since my abscesses were so bad and I was days from dying. Now I am sick again and exhausted all tests available and when she came in the room she yelled that my fungal issues from a few years ago were resolved. I was Never retested, so her aggressive attitude was not warranted. She continued to be condescending and when I tried to explain my symptoms and tests to date she kept shutting me down. I aggressively through her out of my room and asked her not to return! Also when I called her answering service last evening asking to speak to the on call doctor, which I understand she is the only doctor in her office for, her office staff disguised her self as Dr Passalaqua. Her voice was the same as the office girl who said an August 6th was the soonest appointment. It was unacceptable because I have been battling symptoms since April 30. Time is of the essence and I am my only advocate. Needless to say I will never return or recommend Dr Passalaqua ever again. I called my former disease specialist and they order blood test as that is how it was diagnosed back in 2023. She wanted to do a sputum test. She was NOT listening to my requests or concerns!! A horrible experience despite her 30 years of experience told to me by the attending ER doctor.

I am new to the area and found Dr. Muthersbaugh through a google and yelp search- and I am so glad…read morethat I did! I travel for work and have seen several chiropractors over the years and this is one of the best, if not THE best, experience that I have had with one. Dr. Muthersbaugh was able to fit myself and my partner in for an appointment within less than 48 hours (much appreciated!). He was knowledgeable, professional, and as a bonus was very welcoming with a great sense of humor. This was all very refreshing as you take a gamble when you rely on yelp and customer reviews. It was evident after our visit that the few negative reviews on here were due to sour grapes from an old employee. All in all-I will be back to see Dr. Kevin again.

I first saw him in May 2014 and have been receiving continual care ever since. His attention to my specific needs and care has been so refreshing. He understands that all spine/back/neck issues are sensitive and unique. He not only is concerned with what the immediate issue is, but also spends time learning about past history, lifestyle, and day-to-day routines so that he can craft the perfect customized care plan. I live in Manhattan and make the trek to see Dr. Kevin in Fairfield as often as my schedule allows because he is by far and large the most trustworthy chiropractor I have seen in NYC and surrounding areas (and I have racked up quite a list!). I would trust sending anyone I love to see him, because I am so confident in his technique - conservative when necessary and slightly more aggressive when your body allows and needs it, and you are comfortable with it - as well as his demeanor - calm and compassionate, and highly authoritative on his practice. If you are thinking about seeing Dr. Kevin, I highly recommend going in for a consultation to make your own decision - but I have a feeling you will be very pleased! Can't wait til my next adjustment there.
