I generally prefer coming to this Walgreens rather than others in the area. For the most part they are very clean and organized. More times than not I find what I am looking for and usually the employees are quite pleasant. Even when the line is long it tends to move quite quickly. This is not the closest pharmacy to me but I prefer to come here instead of other places. read more

The pharmacy pick ups used to be much more efficient. However, as with most mega corporations, to cut costs they cut customer service. Now that prescriptions are filled through a central fulfillment facility, I'm waiting at least gour days for a prescription. It's extremely inconvenient, but instead of hiring more employees, they cut back on customer service. Good luck to them I hope they sleep well on their extra billions! read more

The store never has distilled water. I need distilled water for my CPAP machine. Every time I come here they are out.

This happens to be a very convenient location for me and my family. The store is clean and very organized, the staff are helpful and friendly. I recently started using their electronic online refill feature, and had planned on getting a 30 day refill before this Labor Day holiday. I logged on early Saturday morning, and the app quickly instructed me to pick up my refill after 11am on Sunday. Well, I arrived around 1:20pm and was told that my script was not ready and they are about to have their lunch break, please come back after 2pm. In the meantime, I received a text message stating that there was a problem with my insurance that needs to be resolved, causing a delay with my prescription. (Sounds like an excuse to me!) I returned approximately 3:15 pm and they still had not completed my script. That is just unacceptable...even the Walgreens app states that my refill was complete. I finally received my meds at 3:35pm and the accompanying slip states 11:00am. My review is strictly about the efficiency of the pharmacy and not about the whole store. If they are under staffed and cannot fill scripts on time, then the app should state the delay! I just hope that I receive the correct medication, and believe me when I say that I will double check before ingesting any OTC medication from this pharmacy! ...5 seconds after getting into my vehicle, I got another Walgreens text stating that my prescription was now ready for pickup! Waited 45 minutes for my vaccine even though I had an appointment. There was a line 15 deep to pick up scripts and a line ten deep for shots. Staff seemed to be excessively slow, with long breaks between vaccines. This will be the last time I come to this store. read more

Script called in on 5/24, had to wait 30 mins for it on 5/30! The reason? We were closed a few days. Line of 12 customers, multiple customers waiting in lobby area for scripts to be filled. Terribly managed. read more

You will notice that my "address" is Soma--whatever that is. Yelp is so bad! My address is in Connecticut and the Walgreens I use here is unbelievably bad: they close arbitrarily, tell you a script is ready but it isn't, do not coordinate their phone orders with notifications if a script is "supposedly" ready. Every time I have to use them I get heartache. All they care about is selling "front of the store" junk. read more

I called in for a general question about the Covid vaccine. The female that answered the phone did everything possible to pawn me off on a website to answer my questions. I then said to her that my questions are not addressed on any website. She proceeded to give me answers to questions I didn't even ask and did this 4 separate times. Each time I tried to explain, she just cut me off yet again. I worked as a pharmacy tech for 11 years. I understand fully the stress of her job, but I also fully understand how important it is to LISTEN to a customer and WHAT they are asking! Shame on her! The last words out of her mouth to me were that she doesn't know what to tell me. I told her thank you for being such a tremendous help! This is where the problems arise with big box pharmacies. This review is for the pharmacy. The staff is totally incompetent, lazy, and unwilling to help. Multiple times I've come to this location because it is near my house. Everytime I've been there, they're unable to find my prescription. I would have to call my dr everytime and the prescription magically appears in there system. My dr confirms with me that the prescription has been submitted hours ago. On another occasion, I had to pick up pain killers. 1 prescription. The tech tells me it will not be ready for another 2 hours, but they close in an hour, which means I have to wait until the next day. Are they serious? How long does it take to fill a prescription? Realistically. People, go elsewhere for your medication needs. This location does not care about their customers and far from going the extra mile to help you. I would consider myself lucky if I can get my prescriptions on time. read more

Giving 5 stars because of the other reviewer who admits showing up after closing expecting to be serviced. No need to give a bad review because of irresponsibility. Granted there were two other people in line ahead of you, you are not paying the workers overtime. Would you then expect them to stay even later if there was an issue with your prescription? Of course YOU would. The person before you likely showed up before closing time and the person in front of him/her delayed them. That's why they make a cut off on lines even if you're there and you admit to showing up AFTER closing. No different than the supermarket. Next time, show up during business hours. read more

Arrived at pharmacy 2 minutes after closing. Gates were open, customers were still being attended and drive thru was still open. Aside from the 2 customers in line, I would have been last, but was denied service. Both the manager and tech refused to wait on me and told me to go to another Walgreens. They were both extremely rude. Luckily, the Walgreens on North Avenue in Bridgeport were kind enough to help me. Will not be going back to this location. read more
