The Pharmacist at Sebastopol CVS is top-notch. She has all the answers to my prescription needs and concerns and is a painless vaccinator.

Good service from the front store employees and the pharmacy staff Tina and glo are the best

Jay is the best. The young people at the pharmacy are really great human beings. Despite the long lines and being understaffed, they handle it with grace and remain so patient and friendly. The discounts here are worth it and I tend to get some stuff here over other big stores like Walmart and Target. There seem to be lots of comments about the bathroom? I'm sure it could be up-kept a little, but as customers, we need to try to treat establishments with respect. It's not the employees fault that customers ruin the amenities provided to them. To note, I would like to emphasize that I have had pretty unpleasant experiences with the pharmacist. But the pharmacy techs are truly, truly wonderful. Thanks Alberto and the rest of the staff. You guys make picking up my prescription so pleasant time after time. You're the only reason I keep coming back to this pharmacy. read more

Poor service, they told me 10 - 15 minutes for the prescription and they will call the name, never did they. I waited 30 and had to approach them. They were not even busy nor did they pay me any mind while I waited or checked on the order in their down time. The associate gave me a very poor excuse saying it had been done but she was never told. In the down time check at least. Do not suggest using this pharmacy even while slow they are too. If I did not approach I'm almost 100% sure they wouldn't have called the name. read more

I shouldn't have to ask for basic things to be unlocked from behind a case. I don't want to feel surveilled when I shop by cameras and employees. I definitely won't be going back to this CVS, ever. The pharmacy is terrible. I've been trying for a month now to get them to transfer my prescriptions from another pharmacy (which was almost as bad. I miss Rite Aid!). It's impossible to reach anyone is person. When I leave a message and get a call back, the person calling back clearly hasn't listened to my message so the game of phone tag begins. Going in person has been only moderately better, because they then succeeded in requesting SOME of my prescriptions. I'm giving up and trying Safeway. read more

I went into CVS this morning to search for an item that's been out of stock for quite a few weeks. I was lucky enough to notice an employee stocking items at the front of the store. When I went to the back of the store and saw that my item was still unavailable, I asked the employee, Angie, if she could help me. She cheerfully agreed and walked all the way to the back of the store with me so I could explain the details of the missing item. She saw a tag on the shelf where that item would normally sit, so she went all the way to the front of the store to get her scanner and then returned to scan the tag and explain to me what's going on with the item. She was so friendly the whole time and didn't act at all like it bothered her to leave what she had been doing and be of assistance to a customer. Thank you, Angie! (Memo to CVS: Please resume stocking CVS powdered psyllium, "Original" version. Many of us hate the orange flavor alternative and don't want all the chemicals that are added to give it sweetness. I've spent the last ten minutes just trying to talk to a person, but because my cell phone isn't working I can't verify the number and I can't get past the stupid AI 'assistant'. There is no 'talk to a real person option' and it just keeps repeating the same instructions with no way to say that those instructions are less than helpful. Please staff your store so that the phones at least get answered and get rid of the stupid AI. read more

Kinda sad stare of affairs. Limited items - lack of stock on virtually every shelf. Was able to pick up some stuff like sunscreen but no Diet Coke or other sundry items to be found. Not sure what the management is but clearly there is a lack of it herein. No one in front to check out but was going to use the self checkout machine anyway. To begin... interesting the images associated with this business is a toilet bowl. Wonder how that happened. I have never seen toilets offered for sale there. When ever I have been there, maybe five times maximum, since they opened, the store appears I kept and dirty. There are pieces of paper on the floor throughout the store. Shelves are I stocked. Stock boxes are piled/stacked in the floor. When I have been able to locate a staff to ask for help they don't know what the store carrie's. When I leave I want to go home and shower. read more

This pharmacy closes at 7 pm. The hours are incorrect. And the staff was unwilling to suggest any other pharmacy nearby.

Good quality products and prices are good when you pay attention to the sales where you get the second one half price. It helps to use their coupon system system too once you join it. read more

Clean your freaking bathroom. This is the third time I have tried to use the restroom here & it was so dirty. There's like 5 or 6 people that work here at one time. While one of you is pretending to do something useful, you could clean the bathroom & put fresh toilet paper in. It's disgusting. You cannot even pretend like you don't see it. Pharmacy staff are overworked, underpaid and underappreciated by their corporate overlords. Somehow the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians manage to be friendly, efficient and calm in spite of job conditions that seem designed to subdue the happiest heart. The for-profit medical services industry grinds away the humanity in even the most dedicated professionals eventually and I salute the resilience of the hardworking employees of this particular CVS pharmacy. *The rest of the store is fine, four stars, comparable to any other similar store. The *bathroom* has always been a disgusting swamp to be endured only in a true emergency where the only alternative is to publicly soil yourself. Better to race home or to use the bathroom at Starbucks than enter this cesspit. Want MRSA? You can probably get it from the soap dispenser or the doorknob in this bathroom. It seems like it might get spritzed with disinfectant every few days by horrified employees, but never professionally cleaned. read more

Customer service doesn't exist anymore!! I go to check out and they send me to self checkout while 3 employees stand around chatting and I'm the only customer. It must be nice to work where there is no Supervisor to teach employees how to treat customers. read more

We tried to have our passport pictures taken...... it was a drama scene! The person that tried to take the picture did not know how to used your old equipment and he was arrogant!. we left. Took my prescription in at 11:30 am yesterday and was told it would take about 45 minutes. Returned at 6:30pm and it was not ready. Only the pharmacist could fill. Only given excuses that she had been busy. No apologies. If I wanted to wait 45 minutes she might be available. I had come from Guerneville and said I could not wait for a "maybe". Could I have script transferred to Gville Safeway the next day. If she was available and had time. I had dental surgery and it was for an antibiotic. This is unacceptabl. read more

The people that work here are just miserable, never polite or happy. I changed from Safeway out of covenants, I think I will switch back.

I've shopped at this, and their former, CVS location quite a few times over the years. Service was def better at previous location, and has gone downhill since the move. Awaited the Pharmacy to pick up the phone for over 5 minutes two separate times, but alas, no one ever did... Bought CVS brand ibuprofen at a great discount, but once opened the odor within was putrid. Not sure what that's from, and may never get a decent answer from a CVS employee. Judging from other reviews, I sincerely hope the Manager is talking with their employees about customer service, attitude, smiling, stocking, et al. read more

Every time I call to refill my prescription I sit in hold for 40 minutes or longer, I often get hung up on after waiting on hold for 30 minutes or more. It's entirely frustrating. I am on my 3rd attempt this morning to try and talk to the pharmacist after calling 3 times and being put on hold for 30 minutes. I finally get in touch with someone, and she puts me back on hold to wait for the pharmacist. I've been waiting for 20 minutes now to speak to the pharmacist. You would think when your dealing with something so sensitive as someone's daily medication you might take it a bit more seriously. I've had two prescriptions "in process" for 3 weeks and have been trying to speak to the pharmacist for 4 days with no luck speaking to anyone. read more

I have been coming here off and on as needed for a few years. They have always been slow and/or late filling prescriptions. Today, in a lot of back pain I came in to pick up a few meds. I called yesterday and was told they were but insurance pending. Today, they are not ready. This is so inconsiderate and inconvenient and no reason for the miss information. My first time in this new, enormous CVS. One chatty person at the register the only staff person at 10am. Wandered the aisles to find the two things I needed, asked at the pharmacy counter, was told the wrong answer. Finally found it, and the one cashier was clearly never going to figure out why the coupons weren't working for the customer ahead of me. I left, never to return. Truly awesome. The pharmacy staff goes above and beyond the call of duty. They have helped locate discounts, worked with a very difficult Doctor's office and just been generally great to work with. Terrible-first when I get there the girl couldn't find my prescription she looked for awhile then asked another girl who found it right away. Then she said I couldn't have it because the pharmacist was on their lunch break and it was a new prescription so I needed "counsel". I imagine this is a legal issue and not technically CVS' fault but it was frustrating as my doctor said this was a routine prescription not anything too dangerous etc so not sure why I would need "counsel" read more

So incredibly incompetent. I like the pharmacist - but she can't do everything by herself - and for Years it's been like this! They hardly ever put my prescriptions through both of my insurances even though I call them specifically asking them to. Last month this meant I lost over $100. Even my doctor in Ukiah has asked me to switch because she sends them prescriptions over...and over...and over again - and the employees say that nothing has been received. And the people working in the pharmacy tell me that I have no prescriptions for x drug, when in fact, I Do have refills available, they just don't know the generic names for even the most common drugs. Only go here if you truly, truly Love banging your head against a wall over....and over.....and over again.....for the sheer joy of the activity. read more

Terrible pharmacy. I've filled 4 prescriptions since I started going to this pharmacy two months ago, and despite them being very common prescriptions (that my doctor assured me "all pharmacies have these in stock"), each and every one had to be special ordered. On each of these 4 occasions, I was assured that I would get a call as soon as they had the medicine. On all 4 occasions, I never got a call. I would eventually call myself to check, and after being put on hold for ridiculous amounts of time, I was always informed that the prescription had been ready for days. I tried to give them a chance, thought it might have been normal human error the first or second (and even third) time... but after four times of this horrible consistency and waste of my time, I am deciding to take my prescriptions to someone else. read more

I use this as my main pharmacy and every time I come in the pharmacists are so awesome and friendly. the rest of the cashier/clerk crowd are so-so but the medical professionals here are the best.
