The yelp ratings about this pharmacy are absolutely correct. No need to read any further. Following the instructions on the email that CVS sent, I arrived eight minutes before my appointment. There were no lines for a vaccination. I had every expectation of receiving a vaccination within two minutes of my appointment time just like every other CVS I've been to. At exactly my appointment hour I started observing the pharmacist. At three minutes after the appointment hour, she put on her jacket. At five minutes after the appointment hour, I asked how long it would be. She came over and she said it will be a few minutes and I said it's five minutes after the appointment and she said yes I start at the appointment time. She refused to tell me how much longer it would take. By the way, you have to mix two vials together, so it was at least another 12 minutes, not a hard answer. The question is whether she was late, or lazy, or it was a power play, or she didn't know how to prepare the vaccine. Kind of doesn't matter I left without the vaccine. I've used other CVS before and they were awesome. Do not go to the CVS for vaccines. read more

This is, literally, the most screwed up pharmacy I have ever used in my 67 years of life. NOTHING works correctly. Period. The staff is clueless. The technology DOES NOT WORK -- the bar code identification and the credit card machine -- is operative. CVS is failing. Period. There are no longer public restrooms here for customers. Please plan accordingly. I was picking up a prescription at the pharmacy near the bathrooms in back of the store. Restrooms are locked with a key. They will not provide key. You have to wait 30 or more minutes before a single clerk in front is done with all customers before they will come to the back and unlock for you. In the mean time managers and security personnel don't respond to pages for customer bathroom access. Reporting to the department of public health and human services. read more

Pharmacy is extremely slow at filling prescriptions. They need to do better at getting prescriptions filled in a timely manner. For some it could be life threatening. They used to be fairly fast, but lately they have been extremely slow. read more

This CVS pharmacy was the closest to my hotel but I only had a few hours to get my medication before departing to another area. Antoinette and the team were so nice and understanding. CVS (or Creators of Volumus Sheets of paper) in Rohnert Park is not far from where I live. One might think that such a massive store would have impersonal service that treats you with the same customer service as the IRS. Wrong! On my last two visits I felt like I was visiting Nordstroms, but different. First I had a cashier who was nice enough to say she recognized my ring tone from Star Wars. This isn't easy because I think my son made it when he recorded a fax machine thinking it was an alien invasion (I use it because I hate phone calls). Then yesterday, I visited in a 911 situation. My son's braces had become dislodged and I needed dental wax. I ran to the "Dental isle" and looked. Nothing! I asked a coworker, she said, "look in the dental isel"... I told her that i had searched high and low and couldn't find it. Then I ran into Daniel... he's awesome. He marched over to the dental isle and pointed at the very first item on the shelf. I stared blankly unable to understand how this sorcerer had made something appear out of no where when I was certain it didn't exist. To his credit, he smiled kindly as if he had never seen a customer ask a stupid question. When i checked out, he was again cool and told me that Creators of volumus sheets of paper was in reference for the receipts they printed out which could be recycled to replace window blinds that hang vertically. Anyway, this place is cool, and mostly filled with decent people. I think 3 out of 4 customers are on parole and the parking lot is shared with Safeway (which means it's not safe). However I get what I need there and the folks are nice enough to help me find it, even when I ask stupid questions. read more

"Head pharmacist" refused to give me my prescription. He said "I don't care what your doctor wrote or said this is my pharmacy and I will or won't dispense to whoever I want." Then when I asked him why I had been getting the medication almost every month for over a year from there the same exact way from the same dr every time and they never had an issue before he said "if you keep speaking over me I'm going to hang up on you". So I was out of town when my prescription came in so upon my return I checked online AND called to make sure it was still in stock. I went in the next day and was told that my medication had been sent back and was no longer available for pick up. Fortunately they had extra stock in the fridge and were able to fill my order while I waited. As I was checking out I went to get a pump of hand sanitizer, with the Coronavirus thing going on and all, only to find both large CVS branded bottles were empty. When I mentioned this to the cashier I received a "whatever" kind of response. I had an appointment for my Covid booster at noon. I was there early as suggested. I wasn't given the injection until around 12:30. I felt bad for the pharmacist because he had to deal with prescriptions and giving the vaccines. The instructions on the procedure on where to go were not very clear. It's not horrible service, it's nonexistent. I've tried calling the pharmacy 3 times today, on hold for a full hour the first time. 40 minutes the second time. Store manager was no help when I called to speak to her and told me "oh we're separate from the pharmacy." No accountability. Even my doctors office can't get through. This is not the first time they have just not answered their phones. I'm pulling all my prescriptions from here and filing a report with the California State Board of Pharmacy, this borders on malpractice. Oh and I was just on the phone a third time, on hold for half an hour, and they just hung up the call without speaking to me. I went to pick up my prescription and when I went to the desk they said that it won't be ready til 12 when the app said 11 o'clock. They made me wait 2 hours when they could have filled my order and get me on the way. But no they laughed and helped every other customer but me. Everytime I come here to print photos and use a coupon they can never submit them on the computer and it is so frustrating when they have all these deals on photo printing and they never work and I've had to pay full price when it has been 50% off the last two times I have tried to print out photos... Went to CVS to get meds, walked up to the pharmacy as they were finishing up with a customer might have taken a minute for them to finish. Went to the window she said we're closed... I'm fairly certain CVS at the Retail Store level, strives to avoid anything that could be taken as good customer service. My husband & I stopped in this location on 11/12/22 about 10pm, we'd just finished shopping at Safeway & they were out of nasal spray. I can't sleep congested & recent 32-36 degree nights cause me to get stuffed up. My husband offered to run in & get it for me so I could stay in the car & attempt to warm up. When he came back a couple mins later he was visibly annoyed, I asked what happened. He said he got up to the register as the cashier was finishing up another customers order. Cashier said hello to him & he back to her & she continued with completing her current customer's transaction. When done she triggered the belt to move my medicine closer to her, she had seen it was nasal spray & said in a condescending & snarky fashion, "U know..there's signs on the entrance door that if ur experiencing Covid symptoms to wear a mask in the store...." Like he was some idiot, too stupid to read a sign on the door..a sign that actually, didn't apply to him.. He just looked at her & decided to not say anything in response rather than point out she works in a drugstore/pharmacy where sick people come & go all day..or that she had co-worker who was hacking up a lung the whole time w/ no mask, or that the medicine wasn't even for him! Or that she's not a doctor or there's no longer a mask mandate..or ITS NOT HER BUSINESS OR PLACE to assume-incorrectly, anyone's state of health! LISA.. as the receipt says, could benefit from some old fashioned customer service training, like they used to do just a handful of years ago. If you need to get ahold of a pharmacist for anything whether it's information on your prescriptions, asking them to ship something to your address, etc. good luck getting ahold of anyone. I called a few days ago because the website would not allow me to have my medication shipped to my house citing I needed to talk to a pharmacist first. Was on hold for 20 minutes. A pharmacist finally answered the phone only to tell me they couldn't mail me my prescription until I spoke with the pharmacist to review some details on the medication. They also told me the pharmacist is busy but will call you later today. 4 hours went by, I called them again, was on hold for 52 minutes, and nobody ever called me back. My prescription is still at the pharmacy waiting to be picked up, which of course I can't do because I'm sick, and need this medication. I had it filled at a different cvs and they did it in 5 minutes no problem. They've been doing this to customers now since November 2021. You should have your prescriptions filled somewhere else. read more

THE WORST PHARMACY EVER!! my doctor sent them my RX and never filled it because they were out of stock. However, worse even, they told me over the phone that my ex would be ready by 10AM the next day. That was a liebb by or just too lazy to look at my actual file to tell me that they weren't able to fill out because it was out of stock. They couldn't even transfer my rx to another pharmacy, even they sent me multiple texts with offers to do so by calling their telephone number. I got there at 7am, right as she opened the doors, she was by herself, and was still more than willing to help me out when she saw me struggling in the beauty department. Turns out, she's the #1 makeup gal! I was looking for a certain foundation, and she brought out all the colors and helped me find my match :) also recommended some other great products during my need of early morning desperation (I had forgotten my glam kit at home, pre- workout session). After over a year of horrible service and calls to Corporate about the issues with the wrong dosage,which I caught, long delays in getting my Rx, over a week for one of the, nothing improved. The pharmacy tech Cheryl was rude and condescending, but continues to work there. The tech Valerie us a Saint and deserves better! A couple of months ago, I switched all of my Rx's to the CVS at .Target on RPX. What an improvement. The techs are so nice. Rx are ready quickly, have never had to wait. ZERO STARS. I needlessly waited 2-hours in-store for my prescription today and it was due to the incompetent workers without training at the register, poor communication, and the fact that this department does not have working systems in place. I had a Rx transferred here and they told me they could not fill it bc it was inactive and I would need a new Rx from my doctor. I called the other pharmacy from which it was transferred from and they said it is already in their internal system ready for this branch to fill. So back in line I go. Again, the front register lady says "no, it can not be reactivated if inactivated so we need a new Rx." So I call my doctor after-hours and left a message, hoping for a callback. I finally called the other pharmacy and told them the entire story and how I was still waiting for a callback from my doctors if I needed them to write a new Rx. I needed help and a solution. This other CVS told me they could take it off inactive and they could switch it to "hold" and this pharmacy could fill it. It's easy. I go back in line and at this point when I'm about to be next, a random lady cuts in line where at least 6 other people are behind me. I said, "excuse me, there is a line." This entitled woman says, "I was here long before you." Whaaaa?? Excuse me? You were here for two hours? No honey. No. But what do the ladies working at the register do? Nothing. Like, they need to handle this lady!! It's so disrespectful to all of the other people in line and their time. This lady needed to know how not cool that was, so I had to be the one to tell her. Finally, the second lady working at the counter decides to open her register or whatever so the line-cutter and I could both be helped. I tell this new register lady the whole story all over again and now she looks in the system and is like, "oh yeah, we can have it ready for you in 15-minutes." So I ask, "so why did the other lady "helping" me say it couldn't be reactivated? Why didn't you just call the other pharmacy and have it reactivated or put on hold or whatever? I've been here for hours getting the run around." No answer. This whole transaction is super poor training if no one at this CVS branch knew they could do this, poor communication with the other branch, and just super unhelpful to their customers. Moving on... I step aside and wait another 15+minutes. I get back in line and when I get to the front, I ask, "do I need to check back with you or will you call me?" The pharmacy tech on the side says in an irritated tone, "we'll call you. It's almost ready." Ok first, don't take out your overworked mood out on me. I've been nice and patient after everything you put ME through. Second, how am I supposed to know this? I've only been here for 2-hours and you haven't called one person's name. Why isn't there some sort of communication where I am informed that this is what you'll do? How do I know I'm not sitting there and you are waiting for me to come up again? You've already lost my trust that you're running this store competently. Listen, I'm not trying to trash CVS just for the sake of entertainment. This experience was truly truly truly horrendous. If anyone working here reads this, I hope you know your system is broken and you need to fix it. And if you don't agree, imagine yourself at the grocery store and it takes them 2-hours to do a price-check on something. Really unhelpful. And at the end when I got my meds, I told that second cashier that I had to speak up about the line cutter because that was really disrespectful. She just gave me a "bless your heart" look. Hey, I'm not the bad guy here. But I am that girl that speaks up when something is wrong or someone is being rude or disrespectful. Even though I was there for two hours, I never jumped the line or yelled at the staff. I called that rude lady out and now I'm calling you out CVS Pharmacy Department. The service today left me feeling really undervalued and neglected. I had to fend for myself to find how your system was broken and fix it to receive the healthcare I needed. I know you're a busy store and I won't be missed, but your store felt like a fast food drive-thru where CVS has 30-seconds or less to help someone and move on or you would get point deductions. Like, stop for a second and help. Just help people that need it... and I have to add - like how the other CVS pharmacy helped me. I never write bad reviews, but CVS Pharmacy on Commerce Blvd, you were sooooo bad and unhelpful that it was truly outstanding and noteworthy enough for me to take the time to write a scathing review. Your service today was not even worthy of the mandatory Yelp 1-star rating. You can do better. To anyone readying this review, go to the CVS down the street on RP Expressway in the Target. Customer Assistance is 100% better (honestly, anything would be better) and you can shop in Target and won't be completely price gouged if you purchase something. read more

Maybe it's just my lack of understanding, but I thought having a prescription on auto-refill meant it would actually be ready when you needed it. Every month one of my prescriptions almost (or does) run out before it's actually filled, and it's on auto-refill. But currently it's been "in process" for 4 days and I've just been on hold for 30 minutes with no luck. I guess I'll have to go in as it will be harder to ignore me. I'm not sure how long it takes to process a prepackaged box of meds and put a label on it... And then there are those prescriptions that were supposed to have been put on auto-refill but never were. So, this has been a pretty fun experience in prescription management (and management of the pharmacy that should be doing their job). I've never experienced something so bad. I guess I was spoiled coming from an area that had competent pharmacies (and a much larger population to service). I will say that Valerie is my favorite pharmacy person. She really is the gem there. Beware! CVS is advertising that they are providing a Moderna third shot to people who qualify in their app that schedules appointment criteria. The app collects all of your medical information including your insurance card or Medicare card information. After putting all of the information in, answering all of the questions and confirming the appointment, the CVS pharmacist assistant cancels the appointment while we're standing there and says that the CDC has not approved ace booster shot for moderna. The CVS website is very clear that it is not a booster shot. It states it is a 3rd shot. Do not enter your data into the app! read more

This place is such a disappointing mess. The pharmacy is always short staffed - slow as can be. The store is dirty and not well stocked. Shelves on the cold meds aisle picked through and not aligned with their prices. Good luck finding an employee who can help you or one at all. Cheap makeup spilled all over the floor where I had to stand and wait for an hour. Took over an hour to get 2 simple - grab off the shelf - no pills counted prescriptions filled. Their intercom system to call you when it's ready is garbled and trash. The pin pad at the pharmacy where you pay is literally just laying on the stand and falls off onto the floor when you pull your card out. Place is a hot mess. Incompetence all around at this store. Whoever's managing this store must walk around and manage it with their eyes closed because it's a total wreck. read more

I'm shocked that toys r us went broke but cvs/Longs if your old enough stay around. Not great prices never stocked. Covid is now and this place seems to not order enough rubbing alcohol or other supplies. I call on delivery morning and out of stock. I only go for the pharmacy because they don't have good prices or the best merchandise.... But the staff is always friendly and not rude, and some are very super nice. Which is surprising because they always seem overworked and understaffed. I've worked at a job like that and it was terrible! Props to them for sticking it out and staying friendly. I hate when employees take their anger out on innocent customers. I know first hand that even though you are angry and want to cry from being treated badly by other customers... that doesn't mean it's hard to be at least kind and courteous to others! We finally arrived here on our California vacation. Time to stock up for the stay. This is the nicest and largest CVS I have ever seen. We went to get a cart. We asked the clerk where the carts are? She said Look outside. We don't have any in here. There were NO CARTS! There was only one shopper around the store. ONE cart. I told her we need sodas, waters, beer and iced tea. How can we shop without a cart? I am handicapped and we are old. How can a store be successful if people can't shop? We had to go to Safeway instead. read more
