I was having some issues with the air pump outside filling up my tires, and the staff was very helpful and made sure I was okay.

First glance walking into this place it's jam packed with products, barely have any room to walk…read morewhen other customers passing by you, very tight and uncomfortable feeling. It's dark inside even during the day not sure why they don't turn on more lights, totally vibes like cheapskates trying to save some money once you meet the workers. They aren't personable or friendly unless they are in the mood, hot and cold. One time okay other times just plain rude. And why the clear covid plexiglass is still up at the counter? I'm now starting to think it's to separate the peasant shoppers (us) from the royalty (them). If you notice the amount of turn over they have with employees clearly shows they don't treat them well either. And then finally what's up with all the wanted posters of shop lifters at this place, if they can't staff the place with enough people (again cheapskate owners) to stop crime why the need to post their blurry poor quality cctv pictures (buy a real camera system for Christ sake). So cheap. Highly recommend you go around the corner to MD LIQUOR around the corner, in same shopping center. They are nicer people and don't treat you like garbage. They greet you everytime you enter. Their place is brightly lit up inside, new floors, clean place with nice big open isles so you don't feel cramped tight and in a dungeon.

We purchased the pen for 20.99 and immediately took it outside to confirm that it worked and wasn't defective because we have had issues with this brand before. We went back in to let the clerk know that the product was defective and he refused to supply me with a new one (even though he saw me step out to confirm it worked) and then refuses to refund my money. I had him call his boss because I'm becoming irate at this point and his boss said that "they pay money for that product and refuse to lose money by returning or exchanging." I explained that if you're selling product that doesn't work then they should right that wrong. I'm so annoyed by this entire encounter. This is the second issue I've had with this store not to mention my friend went there to buy 3 pints of Ben and Jerry's and a pack of Oreos and spent $40 I know inflations high but these prices are ridiculous. Straight Scam artists. Rude employees and crooked management. Absolutely ridiculous. 0/10 would recommend. If you go here prepare to be ripped off. Go to the grocery and deli around the corner. Way better.

My very first review here and what a review it will be!!…read more I had an experience at Pump #2 on 3/28/2020. Pulled up to the pump with 30 miles left in my tank. I went in and purchased a pack of cigarettes (I know, I know...) and $10 on pump #2. This was the last of my money. I proceeded to pump gas like I have for about 35 years and drove away. When I looked at my tank after hopping on 101, I noticed that my tank still read at 30 miles. I panicked and beelined back to find out what had happened. I had heard all of the normal clicks and did not think a thing. I pulled back up to pump #2 and went inside to explain. The cashier said that there was nothing that I could do and I panicked. I asked her to check the pump for malfunction. She said no and I explained that I live in my car and I need that gas, please, it is NOT in my tank! She asked another employee who was stocking refrigerated drinks and she came out to my car and looked at the pump which said $10 and 3. something in gas and she gave me a chance to try again. I made certain that I heard actual liquid pumping into my tank, screwed on the cap after the click and went into my car to give the cashier who given me a second chance to pump the gas I HAD PURCHASED! I gave the first cashier a small Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer as a 'thank you' for helping me out and seemingly believing me. When I returned the next morning to buy cigarettes, (I know, I know) the cashier who had given me the second chance barked rudely at me that she had checked the cameras all day and I had only been on camera once. I said that I must have come in spirit the first time. I was taken aback with this accusation. I got teary and looked to the cashier who had rung up my transaction and she bluntly said, 'No, you just bought cigarettes.' You can imagine how I felt at that point. I informed the one accusing me that I am very honest and I give money back! I told her that I gave $70 back to the ladies at my doctors office who had pooled it and given to me to help in January. She said why? And I said because I don't take handouts. I said I don't even take food stamps. All three ladies ganged up on me and I am the most honest person in the world. I give money back to cashiers when they give me too much. Are these ladies projecting? I took my money and said I would not want those cigarettes and walked out in disbelief. After I got over crying for half an hour and telling the cashier at the Shell station down the street in full on tears about this accusation, I hopped on the phone with my number blocked and the cashier who had rudely told me no more hot water for my thermos with which I ASKED to get after PURCHASING something. (This was the start of our 'shelter in place'. Now I had to pay $.50 for a cup of hot water which of course I had no money for. (Believe it or not) I was upset at how rudely I was informed of this.) This was the cashier who answered my blocked number call when asking for the owner's name. She said, "We can't give out that information." and she HUNG UP. So here I sit, wondering why so secretive? Obviously, this is a KNOWN issue with the pumps. The other review said the SAME THING. #1 though. Along with most people, I expect that the gas that I CANNOT see entering my tank is the amount that I have paid for. The receipt to me is the gas level in my tank. There was gas in my tank after the second pumping attempt. I wonder if the California State Board of Equalization knows about this. I believe they regulate gas and the numerous associated taxes. Maybe that's why the clerk was so secretive about the owner's name. (update: 3/31/2020- The correct department is Weights and Measures. REPORTED TODAY. Beware of being called a thief and to do business invisibly, ( or with a malfunctioning video camera ) or with a cashier who for being so young, has a very short memory. I bought cigarettes (I know, I know) and $10 of gas. How on earth would I know to pull up to pump # 2 and know to dispute my empty purchase? Accusatory, RUDE, and BULLIES. These women ganged up on me and with this pandemic, their behavior was not kind or justified. They are fortunate to still have a job to go to! Not many of us do... I hope that this honest and detailed review will have you question not only the working order of the gasoline pumps but also, the INTEGRITY of these three cashiers. To be accused of theft is incredibly hard to bear when I live my life in a very honest and straightforward manner. I strive for honesty at ALL times. Unlike the three cashiers at Circle K on Redwood Drive, Rohnert Park, CA, 94928 on the morning of 3/29/2020. I would avoid this gas station like Covid-19.

(1 star) Absolute scam car wash and the rudest, most…read moreincompetent management I've ever dealt with at any gas station. They should get zero stars! Paid for the top-tier wash (triple foam, graphene, tire shine, the whole thing) and got literally NOTHING but a basic rinse. No foam, no graphene, no extras at all. Went inside, first employee just shrugs like this is normal (because it obviously is). Then the manager (young Hispanic woman) comes out already locked and loaded with her autopilot BS she's clearly said 500 times before: "I have to check the cameras, write your number down and I'll call you." Hands me a pen that barely works and a scrap of receipt paper. Had to press down like I'm carving into stone just to write my number because even the damn pen was broken. Shocker--no call ever came. This is NOT rocket science. Her ONE job is to make sure her employees actually fill the soap tanks, stock the chemicals, keep the machines working, and run the place properly. Instead they're all trained to be cheap, cut every corner, save a few bucks on supplies while still charging full price for premium, and then hit you with the same fake "I'll call you" routine when you get scammed. Systemic laziness and stupidity that starts at the top with her. She deals with these exact complaints every single day yet does nothing to fix the root problem because that would require actual work. Tried the air machine after--completely dead. "That's not our machine, we don't control it." Real cute. California law says you HAVE to provide free working air to paying customers. It's on YOUR property. If your vendor isn't fixing it, get a new vendor. It's not that hard. I've been to dozens of other Shell car washes in California and never once had an issue. This specific location is intentionally ripping people off, refusing refunds, and hiding behind the fake "I'll check the cameras and call you" routine because they've been getting away with it forever. Stay far away. Go literally anywhere else. These people do not deserve your money that is clearly not being reinvested into the services they are required and expected to provide. I'm an attorney and I was visiting the area because I have family nearby and it's apparently known about town that this location is incompetent. (Already reported to Shell corporate and filing complaints with California Attorney General and Weights & Measures for the repeated fraud and broken air machine. Enough is enough.) All you have to do is the right thing. Spent $87 for gas and NO CAR WASH just a weak water rinse. This manager who just chit chats on the phone outside should take a trip to San Francisco and visit the Shell on 19th Ave and Lincoln to see what a REAL functional car wash is all about ! Provide the actual service that people paid for - Simple right?

Would give ZERO stars if possible. Horrible place that I do not recommend and will never use again…read more I went here to purchase gas and decided to get a car wash as well. After I was done fueling I went to the car wash which was empty and input my pin and was directed to drive forward. I drove forward until I saw the light turn red and then looked down to put the truck into park and double checked all the windows. When I looked up I saw the yellow light flashing to back up which I started to do and then the wash completely turned off. I backed up to see if it would restart but it did not so I went into the store to see if they could restart it. The lady said she needed to watch the video which she pulled up and it showed that I had stopped, the light went red, and then started flashing yellow for a few seconds and then right when I started to notice and back up it shuts off. She then tells me that this is not a "malfunction" so they cannot issue me a refund and restart the wash???? I tried to discuss this with the lady but she wouldn't listen. This is illegal. How can you charge a customer 17 dollars for a car wash and then when it aborts the car wash you don't restart it or offer a refund? This feels highly illegal and I am reporting to the FTC and california department of justice as a deceptive business practice. I don't typically leave reviews but this was absolutely unbelievable and then when I told the lady that this was poor customer service she told me that she wasn't being rude so it wasn't bad customer service... what??? Absolutely ridiculous and this business just lost all of my family and friends business.
