I'm so sick of the store!!! I have to find somewhere else to get my photos done. More often than not they've lost my photo projects, they never have the photos done within the hour it says online. Most recently they told me that they stuck magnets and photos in the same envelope together and sent me on my way, I knew that wasn't true but I was in a hurry and didgot home of course the magnets weren't in there. Today I was told because my order was so large it got pushed to the back so they're doing everyone else's order first so even though I placed my order this morning and it's now 3:30 PM I have to wait another hour because they're so busy they need to help everyone else first. Talk about shit customer service and shit procedures. Someone needs to call weights and measures. Not only that they waste my time and gas today but the web sight says 1 hour photo and this isn't the 1st time my photos took days not hours to complete. read more

Drive through service is abominable. The tech took ages just to enter my name and DOB...fumbled around, only to tell me I was "too early" to get it. Even though I had received 3 texts from Walgreens saying the Rx was filled and reminding me to pick it up! We aren't even talking about heavy drugs here...this is my monthly rx of hormones!! We decided to pull around and come in to talk with a pharmacist. The Rx had to be filled as it was NOT ready AND because we were picking it up "early" we paid 3 times as much as usual. We still have no idea WHY the texts were sent telling me that the Rx had been filled, then a follow up text reminding me to get it. Don't bother with this Walgreens for your Rx needs. I came to the pharmacy at 8:00 pm on a Wednesday night. I was the only one in line, and there were 4 people behind the counter. After waiting for around 5 minutes, one of them grunted something at me that sounded vaguely like "be with you in a minute". The other 3 continued to studiously ignore me. Another 5 minutes went by, I then pointed out to one of the pharmacy employees that I'd been waiting a while, got a rather rude response but a few minutes after that, finally got my prescription. Next time, I'll have it sent to CVS, even though it's a bit farther away. read more

Last weekend we stopped in Cotati for a pit stop on our road trip. Another business told us we couldn't use their bathroom but we would find one at walgreens #cabininthewoods. We realized we needed a bathroom code. I went back up front to ask. when walking back down the aisle I saw a young man letting my husband into the bathroom. While waiting I was told by a young girl that she would open the door for me. I said nicely, that someone had already done it, that my husband was in there. She says no, I will let you in. Again, I said it had already been done. ... Then she said I was arguing with her and would have to leave the store. I quickly used the toilet while listening to her yell at my husband. wow. We got out asap. and will never touch that property again. RUN. read more

This store continues to slide in its service and availability. I went during posted open hours to purchase distilled water for a medical device, and the store was closed for two hours in the middle of the early evening, with a note posted saying it would be open a couple hours later. Clearly not well-enough staffed or managed. Are the owners of this franchise giving up on it? Even while sitting in the parking lot for just a few minutes looking up other places to go instead, I saw 5-10 customers arrive and leave disappointed. Had a pretty decent experience with the pharmacy yesterday. I was told I needed to renew my inhalers since I have been short of breath and originally my doctor sent it to another pharmacy in Rohnert park. I called to make sure they were ready and was told they were out of one of them. Got a call from my doctor checking in on me and I told her what was going on and she said she would change the pharmacy to Walgreens. I called them to see if they had my Rx ready and they said they did not have the formulation of the 40mcg one but they had 80mcg in stock ( I was to take two puffs of the 40mcg one anyways) so problem solving she got in touch with my doctors office and made it happen. I got there and it turns out that Safeway had already billed my insurance and I was not able to get them filled. She said that she would have the other tech call over to Safeway to have them back out of it and then they would be able to finish the transaction. Went back about 40 minutes later through drive through this time since I had made sure my insurance was updated with Walgreens before I left. Still expensive but it was very considerate that they made the contacts to both my doctor and the other pharmacy to try and expedite me receiving my inhalers. read more

Picked up 4 to 5 items today, and when I got to checkout a gentleman named Jack said he could ring me up. He was incredibly patient and thorough. We updated my rewards address and when I told him a brief story about how I ended up at the previous address, he was caring and sensitive! This was possibly the best customer care experience that I have ever been through at a Walgreens, therefore, I was compelled to write about Jack. He was simply great!! read more

I travel around the US and this is the absolute WORST pharmacy I've ever been to. I had an urgent antibiotic prescription that I had to start. When I arrived an hour after it was sent they still hadn't filled it. I was feeling ill so I went home and went to pick up the next day. First, the drive up is a joke. A virtual parking lot. Went inside and prescription was STILL not ready. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait. 1 hour and fifteen minutes later I walked out with my prescription. Unbelievable. I'm having everything transferred. Please stay away. It is that bad. read more

They kept auto refilling my prescriptions and I told them that I will refill my prescriptions when I am ready. My refills need to be on my schedule. I told them 3 or 4 times and yet they continued to auto refill. They would also over refill and I had too many pills at times. Then someone closed my access to the Walgreens app after I told them to stop auto refills and I can't look at my prescription history. Who does that? I was going to move to another Walgreens but now I am moving to CVS. read more

Bought prenatal's that were $36 2 weeks ago. When I was ready to take them 2 nights ago I noticed on the bottle they expired 10/2022. I went in to get my money back and the "supervisor" only gave me a $25 store credit. Not even reimbursing me for the full amount. Terrible service and I will never be shopping at this Walgreens again. So just a friendly reminder I guess we have to check expiration dates in all stores now or else you won't get all your money back. read more

I've been using the Walgreens Pharmacy for the last 3-4 years now for some of my pets medication and I have been extremely grateful and thankful to their staff. We need certain suppliers for our meds and they have gone above and beyond to help us obtain those medications from those certain manufacturers. I know their pharmacy works extremely hard and is always busy, so for them to provide us with great customer service and much appreciated help, they deserve a shout out. I came here for a FasTrack purchase, this is so useful for bridge crossing and tolls in this area. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable about the FasTrack setup. This Walgreens had a special feature! a full on flock of chickens, no joke! I had never taken a picture of rooster before but I just had to let everyone know there are awesome chickens, whole groups to have fun with while waiting for an RX. I saw one nice lady throwing feed for them to flock around, I really need pictures of that maybe I'll catcher her at it again or bring some of my own, I wonder how that works, anyway this was the best part of my day. read more

In December 2023 I had a bad cold. The vaporizer I bought in 1994 finally died. So, my husband went to Walgreens in Cototi to buy me a new one. When we fired it up, it didn't work. So, my husband returned it. The woman who did the return spent about a half hour trying to figure out how to put it back on our credit card. Finally, when she couldn't figure it out she gave my husband a store credit and handed him a receipt and a plastic store credit card...which he promptly forgot about - the card that it. He came home and handed me the receipt and said that was what I was supposed to use for store credit. On March 7th, 2024 I decided to stop and use my store credit. First of all, it took me about 45 minutes to find what I was there for with little or no help from the staff who obviously couldn't care less if I found the eye department! (I met another woman wandering around the store who couldn't find what she was looking for, either!) When I was finally ready to check out, the cashier told me they couldn't honor a receipt and I should have a plastic store credit card. He turned me over to the store manager...an older guy with really long hair. This guy was having a bad day, or maybe he is always an asshole? He obviously hates his job. Anyway, with no diplomacy, he told me, "in no way would Walgreens honor the store credit without the plastic card.". When I explained what my husband had told me,...to bring in the receipt when ready to use my store credit, that the previous cashier was unable to put our return on our original cc...he then looked at the date on the receipt and literally lost his cool! He got angry because I didn't use my store credit within 30 days! He said no store would honor a store credit after 30 days, smacked down the receipt on the counter, turned on his heel, and walked away back turned to me. What the hell? It's not my fault that the vaporizer didn't work properly and the person doing the return couldn't figure out how to put it back on our credit card. It is my money, right? I never raised my voice, I was just confused. At any rate, this is the worst Walgreens I have ever shopped at. It wasn't great before the pandemic...the pharmacy takes forever...and it is far more horrible, now. (FYI - When I got home, my husband found the store credit card in his wallet. He felt badly that he forgot about it, but I feel that, as I never raised my voice or got in any way nasty with the cashier or the store manager it could have been handled much better. Being nice and a little sympathetic would have made the experience much better). read more

I have been waiting at this pharmacy for over 50 minutes to get my Covid-19 booster. I signed up for both my booster and flu shot online, but since I didn't remind the woman behind the counter when I checked in, she said I would have to wait longer so she could fill out paperwork so I said forget it. She couldn't even attempt to pronounce my name, and when she asked me to check the box for pre-existing conditions to qualify, I informed her that in California the booster is available to everyone 18+. This is her JOB and she didn't even know that! She insisted so I checked the box just to get this whole miserable experience over with. This wasn't an example of being short staffed- this was a clear example of sheer incompetence. The woman who I dealt with was young and had short brown dark hair. Someone should inform her there are other people with different sounding names in this country and what California law is regarding the booster shot read more

Things have improved a lot specially since Cara left. The staff is friendly and efficient and wait times have improved. Amy gave me shingles vaccine and she was nice and it was painless. You do have to wait a couple months because there is a backlog, otherwise book ahead of time. During the power outage, I don't think there were many alternatives. They did not allow certain prescriptions to be filled at alternate Walgreens locations. I've been wondering what happened with patients that need critical medications that needed to be refrigerated. At one time, I considered Costco but they had bad reviews. read more

I had gone here for years for my prescriptions and had no issues. I moved away, came back, and now it's the most dishonest Pharmacy I have used.They received my prescription on Monday, and I was told it should be ready by the end of the day. End of the day rolls around, and it's not ready. No big deal. I call Tuesday and the Automated message tells me that it will be ready Wednesday after 2pm...I call to confirm, and am told that not only has my prescription been out of stock, but so are all of the generics from all other manufacturers until who knows when. Why they didn't bother to mention this is beyond me. If you decide to use this Pharmacy, assure that they actually have your Prescription in stock, before letting them bounce around the pick up date without explanation. read more

Every single time I've gone to pick up a prescription refill I've waited minimum 45min which alone is terrible but with a baby and a 5 year old in tow it's an utter nightmare! I've pulled out of line multiple times after waiting 30 min with no movement. I finally give up and I'm going to another pharmacy. I just complained about Walgreens in Cotati California overcharging me for paper towels that were on sale, but saw it rung up on the register monitor at a much greater price. It ended up that when I got the receipt they did correct the price and gave me the sale price which was shown on the receipt ; but didn't show up immediately when they rang it up on the register( on the register monitor look like the full price). Mea culpa. I slammed Walgreens when they were doing the right thing. I will now give them five stars again, but this situation could have been avoided if the salesperson had told me that the price got corrected at the end of the sale instead of giving me a story about the extra money being tax. Nichelle is wonderful, she provided with me phenomenal customer service. She is very professional, friendly, customer oriented, patient, and just a wonderful person overall. She is the reason why I am now a frequent customer at Walgreens. The other gentleman who works with her is also very nice. They work the evening shift, both times i have came around 6-8 pm. It's rare to see good customer service these days. Nichelle helped me out with printing photos and buying picture frames, she helped make it a easy process and expedited it, valuing my time. This will be my go to place everytime I need to print out photos, either for leisure or for my passport and whatever small knick knacks I may need to purchase in the future. Thanks again! These are all things that can be reasonably accomplished while waiting in line at this Walgreen's. I have never been in such a long line besides Disneyland. Pharmacy here sucks. Two nights in a row I waited over an hour just to speak with someone. Then after waiting the first night, I got told they couldn't fill the prescription of the box she was holding in her hand as they didn't believe the doctor actually signed off on it since it was his stamp signature. Second night, got told it wasn't ready and had to get back in line hoping it would be ready by then since he had just given it to the pharmacist. 30 minutes later after waiting in line again got told not ready by another associate and that she had just given it to the pharmacist so it would be another 20 minutes. Doesn't make sense. All for toothpaste!! Just go somewhere else, maybe it'll help them. read more
