I have gotten many photo items at this location and I have never been more dissatisfied as I have today. On 5/11, I ordered a same-day pickup PHOTO BOOK (this is important for later). It was 7:05 PM when I placed the order. I got an email at 7:35 PM saying that my PHOTO BOOK was ready. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pick it up last night, so I we went to pick it up this morning. When I arrived, not only was there NO book, they had just printed out the ten pictures that were supposed to be in the book and told us "we didn't have the kit to make the book". They couldn't have told us this LAST NIGHT when we ordered? We could have tried to transfer it to a different location if we had been informed. This was supposed to be a gift for my great grandma who is in the hospital, so I can't just give her a bunch of loose leaf photos. The cashier waited for me to present payment. I said we weren't notified of that kit being missing yesterday. She just said sorry (without actually being sorry, mind you). So after all of this, we decided to just get the photos alone and try to purchase a photo album somewhere else. We told the cashier that this was disappointing because we weren't called, texted, or emailed about the change and that they would only be printing the 10 pictures. She said "sorry we had no way of contacting you" I said "that's not true. We've received phone calls regarding photo orders before". She just said "oh sorry" once again, without actually being sorry. THEN the cashier "Janette" STILL tried to charge us the FULL amount for the photo book. Not the cost of what it would have been for the 10 pictures. Why she thought we would still have to pay for the book we never received is beyond me. It took a manager to process the order by applying a coupon for the difference. We have received some disappointing pictures from this location before (super grainy, heads cut off, spots on photos, etc) and I'm have never complained. But this transaction was absolutely ridiculous and I am highly disappointed. I will definitely be telling my friends to go to Walgreens or anywhere else for their photo needs. read more

I love this CVS! I'm CVS obsessed and this has quickly become my favorite location. It's really new & clean with a lot of stock which makes me happy! A lot of parking is available and the workers are usually friendly. This location is right on the border of Schaumburg & Hanover Park so is a bit of a drive for me but lately I've preferred driving this route for a better CVS experience! read more

Store review: Being a walgreen shopper, I recently tried shopping at CVS for the first time and not bad except for a mild hiccup. I ended up going for a toilet paper deal that included CVS bucks that would make it a good price. I still have to learn the details of the program but it appears you can earn bucks for purchases which they give you later or as a voucher for redemption at the next purchase. I did not have a CVS card so the cashier misunderstood me and checked me out with the courtesy CVS card. I did not get my bucks back so he had to call for the manger. She was nice enough to give me cash back on the deal and provided a form to fill out with the card. Used their minute clinic for a rapid Covid test. I was truly how shocked how unprofessional and rude they are. As I'm waiting to be taken into a room the nurse and assistant are discussing pay and how much they dislike working there. Once I get taken into the room, after over 20 minutes of waiting while they gossiped, I was taken back and the assistant was standing in the corner texting on her phone. The nurses and staff are incredibly rude and not helpful. read more

Positive and great experience today. I had a routine medical problem and went to the minute clinic. Let me first say that overall I was skeptical. I have never used this type of service but my doctors office was closed, so I thought it was the best choice for me. The experience was truly fantastic. All healthcare professionals are gifts today and everyday, but let me tell you about someone who stand out: I met with the clinician Ms. McManus who diagnosed my problem. Her professionalism in making an assessment really helped me get to a place of comfort and relief. She took time to explain my medication and follow-up care in a kind and concerned fashion. My prescription was available at the CVS pharmacy and I'm on my way hopefully to feeling better soon. Highly addictive Recommended to anybody in the same situation to use this option in healthcare. Last night I had the worst customer service experience of my 27 years of life. I never do this typically because I don't hold grudges and I like to let things go. Last night made me obviously not take what happened lightly. Below you will see how my night unfolded as soon as I stepped into the store.... 1) I walked in around 830 pm ish last night at cvs, store #7143 I believe, to buy some flowers for my little brothers gf since it was her birthday. I get there and I walk straight to the flower section. This cashier is checking out a customer. So I'm minding my business seeing which ones we liked better. I see the sign where it says how much they are..... out of no where, Donna, "manager" on duty last night says to me "BTW those flowers are $21.99, not $9.99." I looked at her confused because 1) I didn't ask her, 2) she said it with such attitude, that even the customer she was checking out on the ladies way out looked at me with disbelief about the attitude the "MOD" had. I looked at her and said ok thanks. I was confused but was like whatever and let it go at first. She clearly saw I was annoyed by her attitude and comment that she continued to practically egg me on. She next says to me "some guy came up here thinking they were $9.99 which is why I'm telling you!" Again with attitude. I let Donna know I'm not that guy and I can clearly see how much those flowers cost. At this point I'm waving my hand like trying to dismiss her. My little brother goes "wow" laughing about the ignorance and poor customer service of the lady and I'm joking back with my brother "I clearly look like a broke B word or something" of course laughing because I was talking about myself to my little brother.... you would think that'd be the end of it right.... 2) DONNA then got even more attitude and told me she was going to refuse servicing me her exact words " I have the right to re fuse service for attitude, verbal abuse etc.) I'm at awe at this point. I get mad. I told her I never once called her out of her name. I asked her what she heard exactly and her exact words were "I heard bitch" I started laughing and was like yea I was talking about myself! Never about you. She said " oh I thought it was about me since you got attitude about the flowers I assumed!" First mistake in customer service.... NEVER assume. I told her I wanted to see her manager and she said she is the manager. And I told her then you need better customer service skills since clearly that's not how you handle situations... she resumes to argue with me. I ask her for her 1800 corporate number. She gives it to me in the sloppiest hand writing where I wasn't able to read anything. I asked her what it said and she said the number and I told her " sorry the hand writing is sloppy" she continues to say "that's another thing you can complain about to corporate" DONNA clearly had attitude as I'm still trying to keep my cool as best as possible. I ask her to write down her name because I needed it to make this review and to take it to corporate and the store and district manager( yes I'm going there) and she says I'm not giving you my name, and I said ok I don't need your last your first will suffice. Again she refuses to give me her name and I try to read her name tag and she keeps turning and trying to cover it up.... she finally writes down her "name" she puts her initials "D.D" I asked her no, I need her first full name no initials. She finally gives it to me. I proceed to ask her when her store manager is going to be in since I know there is no way she is a real manager, her poor customer service skills said it all. I'm in customer service myself and I know better. I told her " all this for flowers" told her to ring up the flowers so I can go and again she refuses and threatened to call the cops on me. I have a clean record. I asked her if this was a racial concern because this was getting out of hand. She said no started laughing and the cashier behind her said "I'm Mexican so she must be racist with me too" sarcastically. I said nothing to the young girl and left. Donna you are rude and you took it out on a customer who was going to pay for merchandise. You assumed and used your "power" to make yourself feel superior to me. I like CVS so much better than Walgreen's; it's very clean, it has what I need, and prices are reasonable. Plus I get coupons, lots of coupons...this is probably the only place I remember to use a coupon at. I'm here so much that the cashiers recognize me. I have used the pharmacy too; the pharmacist and pharmacy techs are very helpful and quick. My prescription isn't covered by insurance, but it's actually cheaper at CVS than Walgreen's. Honestly. the store isn't busy enough to warrant more than one or two cashiers at a time. But it doesn't take 10+ minutes to check out at all. read more

I have been shopping at this CVS for the last eleven years. For the most part the staff has remained the same and I love every single one of them! We all greet each other by name and it's always a great experience every time I go in and shop. The ladies that work there are the sweetest! The current store manager is by far the best manager I have ever encountered in a store. Always a happy vibe when I walk in, even when they're super busy. The pharmacy staff is phenomenal as well! They always go above and beyond to make sure their customers get the best service and it is greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work everyone! :) And just an FYI regarding the negative comments I have seen... DONNA is probably the nicest worker there. She's the one I see the most and she even helped me carry a couple cases of water out to my car!! read more

STAY AWAY!! This pharmacy staff is rude and incompetent. It is a scary thought that this staff is responsible for handling medication. I have been a loyal customer since the opening, but over the past 8 months they have completely lost there minds. They OVER CHARGE, can not process drug company discount cards, forget to call you, refill prescription that were not asked for, call you to say your medication is read, to find out it is not and all you will get is "what do you want me to do about it.!" Thanks goodness the medication is not life saving because they would of killed me by now!. I sit in the waiting area well over a half hour listening to others with the exact same issue as I have and they have yet to get themselves together. I have a slight infatuation of drugstores. I don't know what it is. Possibly because it's convenient and there is less people than a Super Target or Super Wal-Mart. Though there selection of items are limited, you (mainly myself) could be easily amused with everything. I really could spend several hours in here. At this specific location, I had always made pit-stops here when I would have to pick up something on the way home and would not want to stop by a store like Target to get. Not only was it around the corner of my place of residence, but it was simple. Upon entering, I was a little shocked of their staff. There are two young girls, possibly high-schoolers (not that I have anything against those in High School) but you could tell they had to reach a certain again to work there as well as their appeal. Anyhow, these two girls had intense make-up on and had a "dull" vibe to them. Not cheery or seemed like they even wanted to be there, BUT they made my shopping experience still pleasant. The store manager is strict on bathroom usage (you have to buy something in order to use it) but I don't blame him. The other managers and supervisors there don't seem like they wanted to be there either, but you can't blame them. No one LOVES to go to there jobs (like I do) so we have to give them a break too. Besides the staff, I'm still a big fan of this store. Thinking of it, I can't think of another CVS near me... You know what that means, I'll be visiting here often when I'm in the area. read more

Sorry to leave this low rating, however my most recent experience is well deserving of 1 star. I went to pick up a new medication for my mother. Since it was new for her I had some questions for the pharmacist. And THANK GOD I had questions as when he looked at the medication and heard my questions we both then at that moment discovered they were giving me the WRONG medication. My mother's medication was for a diuretic and they were giving me a medication for hyperthyroidism!!! Thank heavens someone above must be looking out for my mother because without knowing I would have given her totally wrong medicine. She has very compromising health issues and there is no telling what could have happened to her as a result of that medication. I did call the corporate number to report my problem and asked to speak with the district manager. I have not heard from him yet. I did get a call from the store pharmacy manager who I have dealt with in the past. He was indeed very concerned, said corporate had contacted him and that he would investigate as to HOW in the world this could have happened. I am seriously considering changing pharmacies. Wish I could find a small neighborhood pharmacy like we had when I was growing up in the city. read more

Unfriendly cashier, wouldn't even admit that I was owed the rewards for purchasing the correct items as stated. Didn't want to deal with her being "annoyed" because she had to be at the cashier desk. Wasn't about to argue with her either, she just didn't care-even when it was nicely pointed out. Instead, I went to the sign that was on the shelf, pulled it off, and brought it up to the counter. Went to the other cashier who gladly gave me my rewards. Hopes are the rude cashier will have to replace the sign that I had to take off of the shelf. If not, I am so sorry for the other employee that will have to pay for her incompetence. They deserve combat pay for working with her! read more

So after standing in line for 15 minutes, the cashier ringing up so slow I can FINALLY buy my 4 bags of sunflower seeds . . . I paid with my DEBIT card using DEBIT. . . Get in my car and open them, they expired Oct - 18 - 2015 now I get to back inside I Ask to just get cash back of course not! That seems to easy for these slow grouchy workers at the cvs. The chip ready won't read my card all the sudden so he offers me a cvs gift card for my return. I am very disappointed in CVS. Had my prescription sent to CVS. I received a text (6 total text messages) letting me know that my prescriptions were ready. When I got to the store, not only were they not ready- they didn't even have the medication on the shelf. They were not sympathetic or apologetic. They simply shrugged their shoulders and said " it happens". I showed them the text messages saying the prescription was ready - her response- oh we don't send those! Corporate sends them. I was clearly upset- verbally voiced my dissatisfaction! Worst part- the manager heard and seen the whole conversation!! He didn't come over- he avoided making eye contact with me all together! I had a few things to ring up and was told to go to the front of the store to ring up the non prescription items. Horrible customer service. Needless to say- I am moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy today and Never plan to go back to that store!!!! read more

We ordered one set on line and then added another that we were taking to a pub in the area of a band that played at our wedding earlier this year. That set wasn't printed yet, but Sara worked her magic very quickly and made the printing happen for us. Yea Sara!!! We drive 6 miles out of our way to go to your store for its customer service.....and we live 5 blocks away from the "w" store that would be considered a competitor in most cases but most recently treated us with very little respect and we will never step another foot in there.
