I was in the drive thru line at 6:35pm. the car in front of me drove off at 6:44 pm. As I pulled up…read moreto the window the worker turned the lights off and put a sign in the window that said closed for meal break. They saw me and just left. They should have at least said something and not let me wait there in line to have it be my turn and then Just walk away. No wonder Walgreens is not doing well as a business.

So, this was the final straw with not only this location, but the Corporation. I get a text with…read moremedicine symbols, not words saying my Mothers scripts were ready for pick-up. I sent my husband and he picked up 2 scripts and had zero idea about what they were, just that I told him I was notified and to pick them up. imagine my surprise when one of the prescriptions was for a medicine we reported to them that my Mom was allergic (and was from 6 months ago) and the 2nd was for an inhaler which we was prescribed after having a stroke a year ago. We never filled it!! She didn't need it. So, I called and said they made a terrible mistake and guess what their response was? well, you walked out of the store with them, so too bad. The bags were still stapled! we didn't open them! So, I called Corporate and I'm still waiting after 3 weeks. Listen, take my advice and either find some other pharmacy (they could have killed my Mom) or, make sure they tell you exactly what they filled before you even touch the bags. It's o wonder they are closing Walgreens across the country! who fills a script from 11 1/2 months ago??? What's wrong with the pharmacists? My Mom had a terrible reaction to one of the meds and had to be taken in, and they filled it even after it was documented??? and they won't give a senior back her money??? Run and find a pharmacy with professionals who pay attention and actually care. BTW..this was not during their "rush hour," so there is zero excuse. and while some people might think $100 isn't a lot of money, to a senior that had 2 strokes and lives off of Social security, it is a lot of money. Greedy company that steals from an old sick woman. Shame on you.

To the lazy, young cashier at Osco Pharmacy. There is no new rule that does not allow you to ring…read moreup a dry coffee bag when I am picking up my prescription. Yesterday, I had a bad experience here. I walked all the way to the back of your store to grab my prescription tooth paste. I am told it costs money. I got it covered through my insurance last time I picked up. This narcissist child could not handle her job. First, she tries shaming me, telling me that last time, they filled it and it just sat, so now I have to pay? Really? No, that is not how things work. You do not fill unless you get a message to fill. And, if it was sitting there for months; why would you not call me? Then, she could not figure out how to get the cost to zero with thd same insurance. She recruits another pharmacy technician or cashier, Im not sure bc she was just as clueless. They tell me they need a prior approval.....for toothpaste???? This seems to be the lie pharmacy tells you when they do not know how to do their job. Then, I ask her to ring up the whole bean coffee in my hands, the only thing I was there to buy. I have purchased many items at the pharmacy over the last 30 years. This lying child tells me that she is not allowed to ring up my dry whole bean coffee. This is why narcissists should not work with people. This chick's ego was hit when I called her out that the tooth paste was free last time. Then she brings up a medication that I do not need filled for another week and then puts it through even though I told her I did not need it. It was like she needed to talk down to me bc she could not figure it out. They are like, sorry it's way too early for your med. I repeated that I already said this. Get rid if bad cashiers who have large egos and bad customer service. When they cannot figure things out, maybe your new hires will not make up rules and talk down to your customers. There is no rule about not ringing up dry food. The ONLY rule says you have no scale at the pharmacy, so you cannot ring up weighted items. Thank you little pathetic cashier who has to punish me for her own incapababilities, by sending me across the entire store to ring up my whole bean coffee. You have horrible customer service skills. Lies, shaming, one-uping, and false smear stories are not customer service skills; they are signs you have Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Or, you are just a brat who should not work at Osco drug.

The recent roll out of the Pharmacy Application has got to be a case study in poor project…read moremanagement, quality assurance, and error in management judgement for a software project. The application is plagued with the inability to create a "Sign In" as it falls into infinite loops and inability to play nice with with the popular grocery side of the application. Furthermore, when you contact Technical Support to resolve these issues (as the application instructs), it takes weeks to get a response and the "solution" prescribed has little or no correlation to the problem you describe. Probably the biggest failure is the decision to roll a "Beta" version out to the general public who have no idea of what that means and only want their prescriptions filled. In addition the company has installed a "big brother" application that performs detailed tracking of every detail of your RX fill history so the Pharmacy now can block access to your prescriptions even if the doctor prescribes it and the insurance company approves it. Of course Osco management thinks that, some how by osmosis, your doctor will know the "magic words"they must write on the script to override the system block on you getting your meds three, or any, days "early". The bottom line is the application rollout strategy must be to increase the blood pressure of Osco customers; maybe they have a deal with Big Pharma to sell more blood pressure meds! Do yourself a favor and go to another pharmacy if you want to use technology to manage your prescriptions and you prefer to avoid excessively intrusive Big Brother monitoring of your medication consumption. The following is in response to Dawns's response (below)... Dawn I did contact a person at the number provided; he had no clue as to how to resolve the matter.
