The pharmacy would lose money if they send me what I requested; however, if that's the case, the pharmacy should communicate with my doctor's office from the very beginning not until the last minute when I reached out. Now my medicine will be delayed for more than 4 days. This business basically doesn't have ethics and only cares about money. Avoid this business if you could. This pharmacy sent me a substitute generic brand without my consent which is birth control. - if you are a female you know how each generic brand works differently. My gynecologist office places the prescription with this pharmacy so I don't know the details but I specifically said I needed Xulane patch, not Zafemy. The worst part is that there's a guy named Luis who's racist and rude. After I tell him my name which is a foreign name on the prescription, he had an attitude against me. He using inappropriate language like "I'm not repeating my name to you" "there's no further discussion" "I'm in charge." This guy cut me off a few times and never let me finish my desired solution and doesn't have a can-do attitude. All he did is "there's nothing I can do for you, is your doctor's fault" So ladies, avoid this racist place that substitutes your birth control without letting you know. And don't let a rude disrespectful man who is not even able to get pregame tell you all the birth controls are the same!! Ridiculous!

I know they think I'm a drug addict or alcoholic because of the meds I take and that is why they are treating me like a drug seeker. It's not the first time this happened to me at a compounding pharmacy. My prescription price was raised $25 without notice. I was already paying $125 out of pocket. LDN is prescribed for many reasons I'm disabled from medical negligence. My emails have not been answered as to why the price has gone up. Nobody in that pharmacy has been kind.

I walked in and was warmly greeted by Steve, the pharmacist. I was so taken aback I thought he must be talking to someone else but no. The effusive greeting was for me. Nice. My doctor had called in the prescription so it was there and waiting for me. Steve took the time to tell me what it was, how I should take it and mentioned a number of side effects that I could have from the meds. Not unusual for a pharmacy but this guy was just so darn nice in the way he did it! The walls of this small shop are full of items to purchase from therapeutic stockings, to bandages, to cold meds and other drug store type items. They even have a small cooler stocked with juices and waters which was great as it enabled me to begin taking my prescription immediately. Another plus? There is free valet parking out front so you can jump out of your car and be in and out in a flash (especially helpful when you aren't feeling well) This place probably gets all of its business from the doctors that are in the building that it occupies, as there is no outside signage, and other drug stores may be more convenient. And like other drug stores- they take insurance so this was no more expensive than where I usually get my scripts filled. But for that small town feel of a real pharmacy, without all the big box hype, Elm Plaza Pharmacy with Steve at the helm is a perfect choice.

The store has large selection medical supplies ( cushions, compression stockings). They also have bandages, vitamins, and other over the counter medicine. This store is average sized; however it has small section for everything. It's organized and clean. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store also carries its own generic brand and brand name. The store opens 7 days per week. Monday to Friday: 9 am to 8pm Saturday & Sunday: 9 am to 4 pm. I definitely recommend if someone is looking for medical supplies.

Due to a lot of organizational problems at my doctor's office, this was pretty tricky but Pure Compounding managed to make this happen and I was able to pick up my prescription on a Saturday. Granted, I've only had 1 transaction so far with them, but I would give them 6 stars out of 5 at the moment if it were possible. The same medication that they're able to fill in usually under an hour takes Martin Avenue 72 hours! If you're familiar with Wellness Health, Park Compounding or Hopewell Pharmacy, these guys are on par if not better than them for specialized methylcobalamin treatment. They do regular potency checks on their methylcobalamin and provided me with a copy of this documentation upon request. They are also are able to ship out of state. The only strange thing is that they weren't able to get proper reimbursement from my insurance when Park Compounding Pharmacy was able to. However, I'm able to claim this on my own with my insurance and it saves me $25-$30/month on shipping when I'm in Illinois!

I picked it up less than 24 hrs of being notified it was there. Unfortunately, my husband's health took a critical turn in the past week and he will likely now be bed bound. I contacted the store and informed them of this unexpected turn. I was aware of athe 25% re-stocking fee and was prepared to bite the bullet. Unfortunately, I was told that the 10 day window started when I paid for it despite that window being eaten up waiting for delivery. So too bad so sad- they have my money and I have a wheelchair that no one will ever use. Bet they are looking forward to their next 150 years of taking care of customers. Just don't have an extenuating circumstance.

I will call in with my mom's numerous prescriptions and they will let me know if the authorized refills have expired and they need to call her doctor. They will also inquire if I want to split the order between those available for refill for immediate delivery. Today, June 9, 2017, they earned their sixth star. My mom needed a different type of incontinence product. I could get it delivered tomorrow before 5 PM from and internet provider with a $0.62 item charge and $6.00 delivery fee or I could get it today from Central Express with a $0.37 item charge and free delivery.
