I don't think Ive ever reviewed a CVS. My old CVS on Eola road that I would frequent by my old house was just great. Last night I had to make a quick stop for cat food and I didn't want to go out of my way to go to the grocery store. So I stopped at this drug store that's on my way home from work. I walked in and there were quite a few people in the store at 9:30 PM. The store was clean and I was able to find what I needed quickly. My complaint is at the check out. There was one person checking out before me. He only had a few items so I didn't have to wait too long. Customer paid and left and I waited for the woman behind the counter, Safora, to wave me over. Instead she turned around and I heard her say something. I look over and there is no one standing there behind her so I was puzzled as to who she was talking to. She finally acknowledges me and I set my 2 cans of cat food down. I hear her say something again but I don't understand what she said, it was said in a different language. I assumed she thought I was the same nationality and said what? But as I said that she turned around again and says something else and laughs. At this point I'm confused. She turns around and then I see that she had one of those Bluetooth things in her ear. So she was talking on the phone while at work checking people out! I was completely shocked that she was on the phone, on Bluetooth, I've never seen that. It explained why she never said hello, read me my total or told me what my change was, and never thanked me. She also ignored the fact that I had my cvs card out ready to be scanned. I really hope that CVS is aware that their employees, or this one employee, is chatting on the phone while working the check out counter. Really bad customer service to not acknowledge the customer or even say one word to them because she's too busy on the phone. Shame on you Safora! If you must chat on the phone while on the job at least say hi to your customers. read more

This cvs it's my favorite store to shop but everytime Nit work she make my shopping experience very difficult and uncomfortable and she rolls her eyes at me cause I was taking out my coupons to the deals cause I love to donate a To my chruch I recommend this store if Nit isn't there to go she always me to me and I feel very uncomfortable when she is around and didnt let me use my extra buck today . I hope you guys can talk to nit and tell her to be costumer friendly with couponers and I work in retail I dont even treat my costumers unfairly when they have coupons I make them feel comfortable. Typical drug store experience. My main complaint is that they don't see to have several empty spaces on the shelves where the merchandise I wish to purchase should be. This store is a mess! Always out of items that I want to buy. I am going to move my prescriptions to the Walgreens on army trail and glen Ellyn. Management should be shamed of allowing this store to be in such awful condition. Staff is usually friendly. I find their prices cheaper than walgreens typically. I love the coupons. I have been a regular customer of this location for the last 4 years. The Pharmacy sent a text message to me with vastly incorrect information. I called to get the correct information as my prescription was called in by my Dr. I understand that people are sick and/or depending on the services, due the arrogant attitude of the New pharmacist who was obviously hurried and overwhelmed. I was put on hold mid-sentence and it was assumed that I wanted something earlier than possible. I was merely calling to verify that my order was called in correctly and to straighten out the pharmaceutical incompetence on the phone message. According to the phone text it would ready in over 3 weeks. I never had a single problem with any of the pharmacists. After being treated like I was problematic and somehow deserved to be spoken to like I was the issue and not the erroneous text.... I may switch to another location but the help always seems to come and go. I just thought Mr. Haris Rauf should be aware.. I will follow up read more

Their photo center is always out of order. I been trying to print some pictures and the Kodak center had a huge out of order sign on it. New every time I come it I look at it and they have that sign there almost 2 months now :( to bad because printing pictures is a big deal to me and would save a trip read more

They always have the every other item but the one you truly need. My boyfriend and I have gone here and have never found what we were looking for. And we never were looking for obscure items but a toilet brush when they had toilet bowl cleaner. Pipe filters when they stocked tobacco and even pipes. Plus their prices can't even compare with the competitor. When they had tanning lotion supposedly on sale, their competitor was selling the exact same product for $2 less. So why come over to CVS? Sure they are 24 hours but why be 1 hour if you can't find what you need. And if you want to just to just shop around, while this is a lot closer to home, I can go to Walgreens and find everything I need. read more

I don't like CVS for many reasons, and this location is no different. The first thing I don't like about this location is its location in relation to North Avenue it's really hard to get in and out of unless you're just making a right into the business. Something else I don't like about this location is the fact the staff leaves all the shopping carts in the parking lot to damage and dent the patrons vehicles. How hard is it to go out and collect them every once in awhile.? The reasons I don't like CVS mainly have to do with their selection and prices on their goods. All stores seem to have less goods then Walgreens and their prices are not competitive with them either. The store are cleaner and laid out nicer then Walgreens so that's one thing they have going for them. read more

I used to go to Walgreens in Lake St. in Bloomingdale, until I had a very bad experience with the rude unhelpful staff. So I tried the CVS at the corner of Lake St and Bloomingdale road. I have been going there for 2 years because I found the staff very helpful and very patient with me. I'm new at couponing and I'm still learning. I don't do extreme couponer. I've always liked this CVS, until tonight. Tonight I went with my mom, and we bought 3 items. 2 of the item were 2/15$ 24 Oz dove body wash, with 5$ extra bucks. http://www.cvs.com/weeklyad/browse/browse-home.jsp#Detail/661. So I went to the cashier to pay, with my manufactures coupon, CVS coupon and extra bucks. Then she gave me the receipt. Then then there was no printout for my 5$extrabucks. I ask her about it, nicely. She said nicely that my total was 14$ only for the 2 items, I need a dollar more. Then I said the shelf label said 24 oz 2/15$. She said, "well, its what it says here ..." so thinking I made a mistake, I went back to the isle and rechecked the item I got versus the item on the shelf, and the tag on the shelf. And I was correct. So I went back to her, I told her its what it says on the their sale paper, the tag on the shelf." And she said, "well its what it says on the receipt, and its actually cheaper (7$ each)." I said actually its not because I won't get the 5$extrabucks, so I want the extra bucks" Then the blond lady, I think she's the supervisor, chuckled sarcastically. The short haired blond lady cashier then said, "do you want it or return it?". So I returned it. I was expecting at least that one of them check the shelf at least just like any other store does. But they didn't. I never been ashamed of couponing before. I never buy lots of stuff and tie up the line. But tonight, I felt so ridiculed and belittled, especially when that blond lady chuckled in my face. I hope its just that, and its not because, I'm short and Asian. The blond lady who chuckled, I believe need to go back to class and study about good costumer service. The last time I was at CVS, I asked her if they restock items on sale. I didn't know so I asked. She said, " that's what I'm trying to do!" I felt like I was slapped in my face.. I was going to apologize for interrupting her..
