There were at least 5 people waiting in line after me and the ONLY person checking people out, had to go talk to the pharmacist about another problem I had with them not filling a prescription that I received a text saying it was ready, and she neglected to have any of the other 4 people working in the pharmacy fill in for her while she spent at least 15 minutes sorting out my problem. Finally, after she got my prescription filled, someone came to ring people up. And there was someone in the pharmacy who appeared to be from corporate with who I assumed was the store manager, both completely clueless to what was going on. The woman helping me never said a word to him about the issues going on at the moment. And by the time she finally got my meds I had been in the pharmacy for well over 40 minutes and was so sick of waiting for these incompetent people that I wasn't going to stick around to complain to him. While leaving a doctor's appointment we received a call from CVS stating they had already filled the prescription that the doctor had called in (which couldn't have been more than 5 mins prior) and it was ready for pickup. The woman stated that she notice it was for a newborn and she wanted to make sure we could pick it up on the way home. Wow, impressive! Upon arriving, and using the drive-thru, the top-notch service continued. While ringing up the order she told us that in the time between when she called us and now she had found a different coupon which knocked the price down an additional 50%! Finally, the pharmacist stopped by the window to see if we had any questions and to give a tip on applying the ointment to an infant. The service level here is absolutely incredible and they have won my business indefinitely!

Fight your way into the Osco parking lot and wait forever for a prescription. Go instead, my friend, to your local CVS pharmacy. You will be out of there in 10 minutes, tops. These people rock. I initially visited thanks to the "transfer your prescrip and get a $25 card" deal which wouldn't have been worth it if the store bit but it's clean, efficient and bend-over-backwards ready to please. They even have the drive-up pick ups for the uber lazy among us. Or so I've heard. Why the 4.5 stars then? They're still not a 24-hour operation and every now and again I have to get a prescrip at an odd hour. CVS already expanded the hours once, so I'm sure someday an unsuspecting junior pharmacist will have to accept a midnight job to meet my bourgeois needs. When you come in for a consultation, you want help and satisfaction in the consult with something important like medication and your health. I waited to speak to someone and a pharmacist who is Asian American came over to find out what I wanted with saying "yes"?. She wasn't friendly in what I needed to ask her about. She was stern and was quick in answering my concern like I was a bother. When she finished with me, I knew that was the worse experience I have had with a pharmacy staffperson. I also was appalled that when she addressed people in line to pick up prescriptions, she was friendly to them and even asked "how may I help you"? Even though I didn't have an experience in the actual general part of the store, I won't be back there. If I'm giving my money to purchase something, which I did, I should never be made to feel like I'm a bother for wanting important information especially regarding medication. No one should. I attached the receipt so that the store can address the person if this indeed was the pharmacist that talked with me. An associate rang me up and she was actually very friendly so I had no problem with her, just the pharmacist.
